I'll try to post them daily, but I may miss a day here and there, in which case I'll post multiple pics. Not going to have a sale with it this time around, sorry :(

It feels like it has been longer, and even longer since I've really drawn anything, though I know this isn't true. What can I cay, even without catching it (and I now have my shots) Covid, and other extenuating circumstances, really messed me up. Hoping to correct that soon. About the only thing I feel I've kept up with artistically is my Patreon Comic, over 100 strips now.

That's about it, hope you all are doing well, of better, and let's hope I can be more of a presence in the future ^.^;

I'm extending my sale through the end of the month, ending on Oct 31st. I am also broadening things by now saying you don't have to follow the Monster Girl/Guy theme, it doesn't even have to be Halloween themed (but that would still be cool). The only consistent aspect is that all commissions through this sail will still be B&W.

I'm giving Ink-tober a try and I'm using the 30 Day Monster Girl challenge as a framework.

For those who don't know, Ink-tober is an event where the artist draws one inked picture a day for the month of October, while the 30 Day Monster Girl is where you draw 30 monster girls according to a given list. I've done the Monster Girl challenge before, but I drew them all as chibis on Art Cards. This time I'm drawing them as "regular people". I will attempt to stick to the one a day asthetic of Ink-tober, however, given other additional art projects I have this month I may have to draw more than one a day. I will at least try to post them on a daily schedule though. To that end, I have the first ready to post and if it isn't up yet, it will be shortly.

Oh yeah, given there are 31 days in October, and only 30 Monster Girls, I am going to consider the 31st a draw what I want day, though it will still fall under the Monster Girl theme.

I'm also thinking of throwing myself a curveball. If I do, you should also see something posted tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, I really should look at a calendar when I pick the day I end a sale. So to that end I am extending my perhaps poorly themed sale through Sunday. So if you still want to take advantage, you have a little extra time.

Just wanted you to know, the current situation is hitting me a bit hard. As such, I am at times not wanting to work on anything. Last week I was going to start on March's Patreon submission, planning to start last weekend. I didn't start until this past Saturday. I should still get it done in time, but yeah, that is how things are going.

As for your commissions, I have worked on them and have all of them inked and ready to scan, aside from the one I'm still waiting on the info for. Again, my plan was to get them all to the inked stage, then spend a few days working on Patreon stuff, and then finish them up by now. Life had other plans. However, I am almost done with the Patreon sub, I have to be, it has to go up by tomorrow, and will be scanning them by Wed with having them done ASAP afterwards.

I'm not sure it this is a delay, but I at least wanted to give you all an update.

Does anyone else get annoyed whenever the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles retract their head or limbs into their shells. This wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that I read somewhere, it might have been the old TMNT game from Paladium (and I'm pretty sure Eastman and Laird had a hand in the writing), that said the turtles, due to their mutation, couldn't do that. And thus every time I see that in a show or movie I have to say "They can't do that."

This doesn't take away from my enjoyment, it is just a minor annoyance :)

Am I charging to little for my art? People seem to think I am.

That said, I honestly don't know what to charge, and sometimes I think I'm charging too much. Not always, but yeah, sometimes.

Now I have given it some thought. I even have an idea of what I might increase my prices too. However, I would appreciate some feedback from you all, or at least those of you who read journal entries. My question is:

What do you think I should be charging for a Single Character, B&W? I will be extrapolating the prices for group shots and images with backgrounds from this.

Any help would be appreciated.

And for those of you who might be curious, I plan on having one more sale at the old prices before the end of the year, possibly having it up by the end of the week,

I got a quick reply from Patreon and they dealt with the issue. One of their support team check the issue and un-flagged the page, so WooHoo for that :D

And now to start working on the October update ^.^;

I just had a page on Patreon flagged as adult content, which is odd because I'm trying my best to keep the srtip at a PG/PG-13 level of content. Patreon made the change for me, which oddly I don't have a problem with. My problem is that they didn't tell me WHICH page was flagged and tagged. I would like to know which and why so I don't make the mistake again.

I sent them word and will hopefully hear back about it.

Anyway, quick question. Does anyone know if there is a free to play version Minecraft? It could be dangerous to get an answer in the affirmative but I'd like to know.

And yeah, I could look it up myself but this way I get to interact with you all and if there is I don't suddenly just disappear down the rabbit hole that is Minecraft. Oddly, don't care about the stuff leading to the Ender Dragon, I just want to make stuff.

I NO LONGER HAVE STAPLES IN MY HEAD! Actually I lost those after about a week. Also, my arm is no longer making it difficult to draw and sleep, so WoHoo for that too :)

That said, I have started up on the commissions I should have started last month and with no further interruptions from life in general, I should have done by the end of next week *knock on wood*

When it rains it pours, though it isn't as bad as all that.

Last weekend I was starting to feel good in my arm again and felt ready to finally start the commissions and the plan was to start work on Monday...And then I got sick. Fortunately it wasn't a lengthy illness but it did lay me up for a couple of days. But I'm better now and art will commence this weekend, if not sooner.

Sorry about the delays, and yeah, I know it was beyond my control but still ^.^;

As those f you who read part 1 know, I had an accident recently. Now on a general level I am improving, I can almost climb stairs normally and I get the staples out Monday, there is one hold out though. My arm. The arm I draw with.

As part of the fall I hit my arm bad enough that it initially went numb for a few minutes. It is still sore in spots, mainly my forearm and shoulder, and while my forearm is generally okay, my shoulder is the problem. When I lean back into a chair or something, I take the weight of my arm off and the pain subsides, but when I stand or lean forward, leaning forward being the position I draw in, the pain gets annoying. Annoying enough that I have to sit back again to make the pain subside. I'm pretty sure it isn't broken, no sharp pains, and I still have full mobility in my arm. I think there might just be a huge bruise there I haven't seen yet because I haven't looked. Heck, I haven't even looked at the staples yet and probably won't.

So with that, the recent commissions are on hold a little longer, unless I can find a good position to draw in.

Long story short, I slipped on the curb running for the bus, fell forward, hit my head, spun around and hit my head again, and I was down. I did not lose consciousness and by the time the ambulance showed I was stating to feel better. Oh, the bus driver told me I was bleeding from the back of my head.

I'm home now but they checked me over, took a cat scan and x-ray'd my knee and eventually sent me home. My injuries include: A pin hole sized cut in my eyebrow, no stitches. A "gaping wound" on the back of my head, 3 staples that come out next week. Sore right wrist from a scrape. Sore and stiff left knee.

So yeah, that's it and I'm home now. I'm fine and can't wait to get these staples out.

This may affect when the latest commissions get done since I'm gonna take it easy for the next couple days. Sorry.

I should know better than to end a sale on a Friday, though there is nothing wrong with ending one on the end of the month.

That said, I am extending the sale through Sunday June 2nd, so those of you on the fence have a little more time to think about it.

I'm bouncing several ideas around, aside from what I normally offer. I was wondering if any of you have suggestions beyond the normal character poses.

After a year my plan is to try to be more of a presence here and posting much more art, either my own or commissions from sales, and in regards to the latter half of that sentence I'm going to do something about that very soon.

So, some of you may be thinking, "Hey, what have you been doing over the past year?" The big thing, not much. I think I've been still getting over the death of my mother. At this point condolences aren't necessary, but if offered are still much appreciated. Artistically, there hasn't been much, a few private commissions and some convention art at Furry Migration for  invisiblewolf and  AikaMoonKitten, who, in the case of the latter, I got to know and they are a very pleasant person :)  invisiblewolf I've known for years and still owe some art ^.^;

I FOUND MY LEGO FURSUIT FIGS!

I found them within a week, in the laundry hamper. No idea how they got there and I don't care. I'm jus glad I found them :)

Added a few more, I'll see about taking a new pic, maybe include the Mario fursuit minis. We'll see what happens.

Dor those who are curious we are heading out Wed and staying thru Monday. I don't think I'll be in the Alley this year but I have no prob taking commissions "under the table". So yeah, looking forward to seeing people and bits of Chicago...Okay, the bits of Chicago near the hotel :P

It will be good to get away for a few days and see people I don't get to see that often. As for my plans there, I'm not sure. I think the only set in stone thing will be seeing a movie, probably on Thursday night since that's when I seem to usually go.

I am not sure if I'll be in Artist's Alley this year, still getting used to drawing regularly again, but I might try to get in on Saturday. The same day everyone else will try ^.^; But if you know what I look like, you can always ask for a commission off the record as it were.

So yeah, I'll be there and hope to see people there :)

I'll cut to the chase, my mom dies last July and aside from a couple exceptions, I really haven't felt like drawing much of anything. As a result I haven't really stopped by here or DA. I feel bad about not stopping be but what can you do. Hopefully I'll start posting things again soon and with luck wil have something new in a week or so.

So again, sorry I've been away so long.

Since I do not believe Patreon made a formal announcement on this subject, that subject being that they have changed their policy and you now have to actively click a button to make them get money from my patrons, I will be getting nothing for the six strips I posted over the last six weeks. Now I can understand the change, you don't want to charge for what is essentially a site update, I just wish the (Adult language FUCKING DELETED...Or not) nice people at Patreon would have made the announcement that this was happening in a more 'in your face' manner. So live and learn I guess.

That said, I'll probably have another sale up be the end of the week because I like to eat and things.
