How's this for fun. Patreon has apparently changed how they do things and I don't quite understand these changes. So no more monies for me until I can figure things out.

I'm updating again, I've all ready posted 2 new strips and a 3 part blast from the past. These strips should be showing up on TUMBLR in a few days. I'm going to do my best to keep up with the strip, I guess we'll see how that turns out :)

I found my fursuit minifigs and you;ll never guess where they were. I was the one place I never would have thought to look.

They were in my my dirty laundry hamper! I can't even imagine how they ended up in there, well, maybe I can but that's beside the point. So how did they get there? I'm blaming playful poltergeists.

That's right, I somehow lost a 8 x 10 x 2 inch container that had all my Lego Fursuit minifigs, it also had a few other furry minifigs, like the fox from Chima. I am annoyed because I know I saw them since I rearranged things in my room. I am really pissed off over this, you would thing a box that size wouldn't be hard to fins.

Oh, I looked up the oldest of then, Gorilla Suit Guy, and he's $14 at his cheapest on Brickshelf. It could get expensive to replace them all, not fun.

There probably won't be a "Help me replace my minifigs" sale, or maybe there will, who knows? For now, I feel pretty miserable.

I had hopes when I started my Patreon account. High hopes. Unrealistic hopes. The patreon thing I should have started years ago, or at least when I first heard of Patreon. I expect I would still be in the same boat I am now. Simply put, I need to find a job. I was going to say find a real job, but aren't all jobs real?

That said, finding a real job means for the time being I will likely need to shut down my Patreon account. I don't know if...actually I'm pretty sure I can't keep the strip going and work a job, even part time. Hell, I'm not even sure I'll be able to get any art done while doing a regular job. So updates here may be few and far between. And the few big commissions I still have pending may take longer than expected to get done, which in one case is makes me feel awful. I guess the one thing that could save me is if every one of my watchers contributed a $1 a month, I'd be a little more stable, but I'm not going to do that. People should donate because they want to, not because I'm asking them to.

Like I said, too little, too late.

I'm going to still post art here and on DA, I just don't know how often. There will be the odd sale though, so you'll still see art from me that way.

Some of you may have noticed that after the last sale things have been quiet on my page, sorry about that. I've been trying to get ahead on my webcomic again. So far so good, but I'm currently with no real lead time. I'm sure I'll get ahead again, but then I'll catch up, then get ahead, and so on and so on. I'll try to post art here again soon, and to that end, I'll probably have another sale, we'll see.

For those of you still unfamiliar with my webcomic, it's called Walkabout, and there seems to be a lot of walking involved. Okay, not just walking, though walking is a big part of things. I'm doing this to help my friend figure this out.

For the past few days my computer has froze and shut down for no apparent reason, but turned back on a few moments later. Originally it did it once a day, then was fine the rest of the day. Today, it did it three times and the third time did not seem to want to come back until I turned it off and back on.

The line art is almost done. I'm working on the last few, so much art to work on, and should have them done by the weekend. Coloring should go a little faster and I plan to have them all done by the end of Feb. So thanks for your patience and hopefully nothing will delay things past the end of the month.

Just wanted to let people know that there is still a little time to get in on my "First Sale of the Year Sale", it ends Thursday Feb 4th. If you've been on the fence about whether of not to get in on this one, maybe I can change you mind.

In other news, sorry for the lack of updates, artistic or otherwise. Between side projects, commissions, and here's the big one, being sick, I haven't had much chance to work on anything. I'm feeling a little better, but doing anything active is still exhausting. Hopefully I'll feel better by the weekend.

Aside from pictures from sales, would you rather I draw a bunch of pictures at once and post them all at once, or spread them out a bit?

UPDATE:

Sounds kinda like some of you like batches, while others like art posted more sporadically. So to me, that sounds like I should find a happy medium. Posting in batches is okay, but maybe limit it to two or three a day so I don't overwhelm people. I will try to keep that in mind.

Any other suggestions?

I'm thinking of joining Patreon and I am curious what those of you who watch me and are part of Patreon think of it. Though any input would be appreciated.

If you're curious, I'm thinking of doing a Patreon sponsored webcomic.

Sometimes I do a less than stellar job keeping people updated on the status for their commissions. But for this sale, here goes.

Line art is done, working on coloring for the sale now. Commissioners should see results by Friday, Sunday at the latest.

Just me being paranoid that no one saw the first ad, then again maybe everyone did and...Sorry, that's a level of paranoia I shouldn't explore ^.^;

Okay, it has been a while since I posted any art, and most of that was from my last sale. I did get some art done, but nothing I can post.

Now I plan to have another sale soonish, but artistically that doesn't strike me as fair. You're here to see my art in addition to art commissioned by others. So to make up for that, and the long break I am going to try to post 5 pictures before I post my next sale.
