Ok so things took a shit turn over here.
One of our co-worker's family tested positive. And so a scare went through the shop and half our staff refused to come in :/ So yes, I've been guilt tripped into covering extra shifts again. I managed to get some WIPs done, but due to this, it's going to get hectic here again.
It doesn't help that a lot of customers we get are now refusing to social distance or wear masks. And we cannot enforce it. So yer, a lot of people are refusing to work because of that too. Despite there being a lockdown, they're acting as if nothing's wrong. Even getting tourists, which is MIND BLOWING.
I have been tempted to hand in my notice about all this. It's gotten to the point my stress and depression levels are so high I've done some stupid shit to myself to try and deal with it. It's not pretty.
I'm gonna try and get as much done tonight as I can, before the new extra shifts start up again. Again, I apologise for such a long wait. Things are beyond my control over here, unless I quit my job.
And if I quit my job, I'll be homeless. Soooo I really don't have a choice.

With Christmas around the corner, work has been hectic, and will distract me until the Holiday is over (Work at a food shop, so people are grabbing last minute items. Booze is our number one seller of course. Very essential item.)
After Christmas, things will be back on track!

Thankfully I was a smart cookie and saved over 1000 pieces onto my laptop. Moving them over to my PC now.
Just not the last two months, as I was using my USB drive for those pieces.
So if I had been working on your piece recently, or didn't use my laptop at all for it, chances are I shall have to start again. And any finished pieces I sent out, I may ask to have a copy so I can upload them to my FA xD
Still annoyed I have lost so much. But, I shall check through my backup on my laptop to see what recent commissions were saved.

Ok so good news: I've re-installed windows onto a new SSD, so now my PC is fully functioning!
Bad news... I used the wrong USB drive for the Boot file.....
And the Windows boot file reformatted my work USB....
Umm.... So I've lost like 3 years of art work. I feel like such a fucking idiot, cause not only were there commissions on that, but several personal projects I shall now have to start from scratch....
I do have my backup art folder from my old HDD. But no recent artwork is on there.
I'm such a fucking idiot.
Currently re-installing all my programs. But yer this means I shall have to start on a lot of work from scratch. I really am sorry about this! At least my PC won't be constantly freezing and such anymore, so no delays from that!

Triple shifts kill. If I didn't need the money, I would quite my second job... But things have quietened down again, and emergency staff has been employed so I don't have to cover for several people anymore.

First off: I have a few days off work, and will be working on art.
I have sent the max amount of refunds this month (Though it has left me short on rent, so I may have to open for one or two pieces tonight) but I shall try and send more next month after my paycheck.
Gmail keeps locking my work account, so if you have sent me an email about work recently, I apologise but I cannot access it. Daily I get a message from them, saying I have to change my password because someone in Russia keeps trying to access it. Dunno why, but I'm kinda fed up with that so currently looking for an alternative. Notes are closed because it's a mess. But, if I cannot find a decent email, then I shall clean notes up and re-open them.

Sadly I still do not have the funds to fix my work PC fully. All that is left is for a new SSD (As the HDD is pretty much on it's death bed) But once it's fully up and running, work will be back on track. Right now it freezes for a few moments every so often. Those freezes have corrupted quite a few files, so I'm trying to remember to backup every piece I do. Though with my terrible memory, I do forget, and end up losing quite a bit of art...

I'm currently sorting my list out. But the basics of the next two weeks is:
This week: Finishing all Butt Special YCHs.
Next Week: Finishing all Hole in the Wall YCHs.
Once these are done, I am retiring those YCHs.
Also taking a week off work closer to the end of this month. And will be dedicating that time to normal commissions, and owed YCHs. I'll try to write out a schedule for people to keep an eye out.
Notes have been closed for now. They are a mess.

After having to pull extra shifts again (4 people just quit, and I'm seriously considering it too) and a health scare, I am back.
Pretty much told the boss I am not doing anymore extra time. It's seriously not worth the pay at this point.
Health scare wise... neeeearly lost my legs. Won't go into detail, pretty boring stuff. But they're much better now! I just have to watch myself.
I've sent out a few refunds. But, with limited funds, I could not do them all. I shall try to do more with my next paycheck.
As much as I do not want to, I will be forced to re-open for commissions. BUT. I will be doing the 'Pay half now, half upon completion'. Not for auctions though. I am still trying to put it off for as long as I can, so not to add to the queue.
Thank you to all those who have been patient and understanding. I had hoped things would calm down at work, but with the new laws and restrictions coming out..... yer it's not happening. Hence why everyone is quitting. Cause the pay isn't worth the stress.
TBH I was earning more through my art. And now my art is suffering cause of my second job. It's very frustrating. If I can get the backlog sorted, I will go back to doing art full time. Cause my second job is just slowly killing me at this point.

Sorry for the silence. I went on an unexpected hiatus.
My mental state deteriorated to the point I nearly did something I would regret. Don't worry, I'm back now. And will be seeing a specialist when things finally calm down.
But yes, I owe everyone - especially my commissioners - an apology. I never expected to be this far behind with work, and the stress of everything in my life has caused such a delay. I'm not proud of myself for allowing it to get like this. I should have been able to handle myself better.
I still have over 20 pieces inked. And several partially coloured. I will strive to have as many done by the weekend for a mass upload.
My telegram is still messed up, so I'm looking into alternatives to keep in contact with commissioners.

Ok! I have just over a week off from work, so I can dedicate that to art.
Also, my tablet was messing up the past few weeks. I seriously had no idea what was going on. Re-installed numerous times, updated drivers, got to the point I thought I may have to replace it. Thankfully that isn't the case; some reason my PC kept stopping the driver from running. Sorted that out, so I can use my tablet again.
I'm still not going to open for proper commissions. Not until I have worked on my backlog. This is putting me into a serious financial state, but that is my own fault. I simply cannot add to the list. I need to focus on older stuff. Thankfully my wages from my other job cover my rent and taxes. Art was supposed to cover food and bills. Thankfully over-time at work has covered that, but it's left me with less time for art. Kind of a vicious cycle atm.
I have 20+ commissions inked. Just need to focus on colouring them all now. So I'm really hoping to have quite a bit done during my holiday.
I shall be responding to emails/notes on Sunday at the earliest. Because it's 5am now and I need to sleep, and tomorrow I need to sort my home out. Finally getting a bed (After sleeping on a broken camping bed for 6 months) so gotta move things about. Also it's my Birthday on Saturday, so I may be out of the house all day. So Sunday I shall have free to reply to people.
Again, I am terribly sorry for the delays. I am completely at fault, and have started making plans to put money aside in case I need to start issuing mass refunds. It's getting to a ridiculous point now. People should not have to wait so long.

I really am. There have been far too many delays. And I am so sorry for that.
Between my poor health, the house move, and now my second job being hectic (I work at a Grocery Store, which is apparently essential.) Art has taken a back seat. And I hate that. Art is my passion, and I've had no time for it.
But things have relaxed somewhat. People aren't panic buying anymore, so I'm no longer being over worked. Though, didn't get Easter off.
So I am dedicating more time to work. Thurs, Sat and Sun are my days off. Sometimes I'm just too tired to do artwork after getting home from my second job (But I will at least try on days when it hasn't been so hectic). So those three days are the only ones I truly have time for art. Even though people are trying to get me to do extra shifts again (14 people left work, leaving us laughably under staffed) I firmly said no. I'm already forced to deal face to face with potentially infected people (Been three cases already in our little village), I'm not about to expose myself more. The pay is way not worth it.

Got a week off work, despite everything going on. This is the only holiday I took this year, and no virus is gonna stop me. Not that I'm doing anything.
Just staying home and doing commissions xD

First cases of that damned virus are in the town close by. So there may be a chance of a lockdown. But I also highly doubt that; company is making too much money off people panic buying, so the higher ups are refusing to close the shop down for a bit. They just say 'Wash your hands, you'll be fine'. Washing my hands after being coughed on isn't gonna do shit.
Even though we're not getting any stock lul. Shortage with the supply company. None of the essentials, apart from beer/wine, ciggies, and scratch cards. Which... is all I'm really selling atm, with the occasional chocolate bar. I'm sorry, but those are not fucking essential. Why risk the health of your workers for that??
As I am forced to serve between 50-100 customers a shift, I'll no doubt catch it. Hell, I got coughed on numerous times tonight. Not a matter of if, but when. Not too worried though, I'm still young and relatively healthy. I just won't be able to visit my mum for a long, long, looong time. She suffers from numerous health issues, and is getting on in her years. If she gets it, she's down. I refuse to allow that to happen. Told her to go live out in the woods for a while until the worse blows over. She has a little house there.
But I have my annual holiday next week, and I'm keeping my butt right at home, so I shall be attempting to get as much art as I can done. Nothing else to do.
On that note - my PC is still pretty much fucked. Getting worse by the day, but I simply cannot afford to replace the parts yet. All my wages go towards rent and bills, and I have nothing spare for myself. Especially with the fact I have not been taking new work on really. But either tomorrow or Wednesday, I will be offering a few adult YCHs, cause I need to earn the last of my rent. Don;t really have a choice on that, which is why I shall be having as little sleep as possible so I can work on art instead.
Using my slow arse laptop atm. Thing is slower than my PC, but at least my art programs don't crash. Just takes a while to save/load, or the tablet delays so much my ink lines go funny.
I just need to get a new motherboard and CPU for my PC. Everything else is covered. Don't need a new GPU, or case (Even if my current one is a lil beaten up. It's still in one piece, so it's good) and the power and such are still good. Those two things will cost me about £350 all together. So I shall have to see how money looks next month. My extra hours forced at work should hopefully give me a bit extra to put towards it.
Also looking for a third job to help with money. Though, with everything going on, new jobs aren't really in supply right now.

Sorry again for delays. My PC keeps freezing when doing large files. I've lost several pieces of work because of it.
Can't afford a new PC, so I'm gonna just slowly replace parts over time. Starting with what might need replacing to stop the freezes. Which is hard to do without opening for commissions for the extra funds (I'm trying to not do that until I've completed more older work.) But it's either the CPU (Which is 3-4 years old. Maybe older.) or the RAM (About 1 year old) so might try replacing the CPU first. Nothing expensive or high end, just something good enough for my work. I don't really game or anything anymore. Just work.
But, I should have a few of the smaller pieces done. Fingers crossed my PC behaves itself until then.
Sorry again for the wait. If things carry on going downhill for me, I shall start rolling out refunds. Because I really don't want to keep people waiting any longer. Between severe depression, forced more hours at my second job, and now my damn liver playing up, I've barely any time for art. And when I do sit down to work, my PC either fucks up, or my tablet does. Tablet better not fucking die on me, it's a Cintiq and I'm not buying another one.
Way too much money.
Long story short; I'll get some stuff out this weekend.

I really am sorry for the radio silence. Ran out of mobile data.
But my internet is now up! So expect regular updates now. I should have a few pieces to upload this weekend, and am slowly responding to everyone's messages.
As for refunds, I shall also get to those now. Paypal has informed me of open cases, but it's understandable that was to happen as I couldn't get online to talk to people. I shall sort all that out for you guys soon!

I don't have much mobile data left, but I'm gonna get some more tonight if I have the money. And then I shall post as much as I can over the course of the weekend. I have quite a few pieces done (Mostly the larger YCHs rather then the specials)

New broadband company just got back to me with that estimated timeframe.
Hopefully this will go far more smoothly!
But, as I did get some emergency mobile data, I shall try to upload a few pieces of art this weekend. Just gotta try and make this last til the 3rd, because I cannot afford to top the mobile data up. It's pretty expensive compared to fibre broadband :/ Why do people go for mobile data on the regular?
I appreciate people being so patient with me about this. But yes, 3rd is when I should be back online and updates should be much better.
Also, side note, I now work 4 days a week at my second job. People just keep quitting, and I'm the only one willing to do the evening shifts. Even if i have to walk across the countryside in the pitch black :D I have told them I don't want to be forced into anymore shifts. Only agreed to the 4th shift cause my boss was pretty much begging me to take the extra shift. It's only a temp shift though.

First off - what happened to the FA layout?? Everything looks weird to me.
Now onto the important stuff.
Vodafone kinda messed up. Instead of activating my broadband, they cancelled it. Without explanation. They just text me saying 'Just to let you know, we've cancelled your broadband'.
Which has left me in a bad spot tbh. I heavily rely on commission work to make ends meet. I'm out of pocket for a whole month now. And as I've just moved house, I have a lot to pay for >.>
I contacted them. On the phone with someone who could barely speak English (I already have auditory problems, so I got no where with that because as polite and as respectful as she was, I really couldn't understand her. That and she wasn't sure what was going on either. Some sort of computer error. Etc etc.)
I emailed them. Nothing. I'm pretty much getting the silent treatment. So I've just told them to keep it cancelled.
Gone with another company. Who apparently have had a few people move over to them from Vodafone due to issues. So not sure if they are just having a bad time right now.
I don't know the estimate of the new broadband service. Still waiting for confirmation. But I think the max time is two weeks usually. Vodafone made me wait longer, but that was due to the holidays.
Currently using emergency Mobile Data to write this. But I thought I should keep people in the loop.
Can't stick around. Otherwise Vodafone will take more money from me (Yes, I have them on Mobile contract, hence why I also applied for Broadband)
I've noticed I have quite a few notes. I'll try to get to everyone as soon as I can!
So sorry about all this. Hopefully the new broadband will arrive promptly, and won't cancel without reason.
Got a nice new Vodafone router out of it. Not sure what to do with it now though...

Ok, house has been paid for!
But just found out my internet wont be activated until the 13th Jan :/
Didn't realise it would take that long TBH.
I have internet on my phone, but not much, so I may be able to pop onto telegram for short periods of time.
I won't be properly moved until utilities have been sorted, so I will be using my mum's internet until then. But for 2 weeks I'll probably end up being offline. Don't worry, during that time I will be doing a lot of catch up work, so as long as people's refs sheets are up to date, expect a mass upload of art as soon as I come back online.
Again, sorry for the delays. Life has been hectic, but things shall get back on track once I've settled into the new place. I'll also try and get those refunds sorted now that I've paid for the place. Extra 2k in debt, but at least it's sorted.

As a few people know, I am moving house soon. Have to drop £2000 for it, so I have been working to the point I am not even sleeping. The bags under my eyes have bags at this point. At least I lost even more weight. This diet is being a breeze.
I've also been struggling with a few things emotionally. Trying to sort my life out, and figure out where the hell i stand with a few things. Hence why I have not been overly social with people (Sorry for this). I'm hoping once I get my new place, I can wipe my slate clean and start over.
After work tomorrow I will check all my messages and get back to people. But again, you are best to grab me on telegram when I'm online if you need to inquire about work. I will be free this weekend, even though I was asked to cover a few shifts. Told them I couldn't cause I have to get the rest of my stuff packed up and ready for the move. Two people suddenly quit work, so we're short on staff. Again. Seriously frustrating.
Again, I really am sorry about all this. Some people have been waiting far too long. Once I have my own space again, I can actual dedicate the majority of the week towards work without having my family getting in the way. I'll also be starting streaming again. Gonna try and do that a few hours a day when I'm not at my second job.
