More on my last journal about "not caring anymore"

Short version: super super SUPER stressed at work.
Longer version:
Well, for those who didn't know, I started working with on second job since January. It's the same as my old job in a sense that it is still a call center and I still receive inbound calls providing customer service. Now from January upto Wednesday this week, we were having training classes, familiarizing ourselves with company policy, the customers, the market, the products and the system. Thursday, we started our very first phone time with a live customer. It's true what they told us, the theoretical aspect of the job is very very different from the application of it.
In my first job, I was also a customer service representative, but my current job was waaaaaay different. It felt like nothing could have prepared me for the experience (well, we had training, but you know what I mean). We had other trainers and tenured agents guiding us throughout the day, but it still nerve-wracking. At the end of the day, i felt like everything inside my body was stretched, mashed, twisted in every way possible (I was just thankful I didn't make a mess.) A teammate of mine was already cursing our trainer, one broke down and cried, and some were thinking of finding another job elsewhere.
They did tell us that the account is no bed of roses, but the pay is high; higher than the other call centers in the area. We were perplexed as to why people would resign when the pay is high... now we now.
One of the trainers told us that this kind of thing happens to agents on the first day of their phone time, but they encourage us not to give up and to stick around, see where it all leads.
Friday. 3 of our teammates didn't report to work today, and one is considering handing over her resignation. We were given phone time again, but surprisingly, this time it was easier to handle.
Saturday is my day off, but we'll need to go back on Sunday for one final day of phone time, then they'll tell us who passed to continue to work and who'll get the axe. After that, Monday will be given to us as a day off and come Tuesday, each of those who make it will be assigned to their new teams.
So there, when I posted "I just don't care anymore", I meant that i didn't care about anything at that moment. My mind was blank (so to speak), my body was aching, I just wanted to lie down and forget everything, I just wanted to break down and cry. I was very very stressed.
I'm sorry if i worry some people. For those who know me, I don't get emo like that often, so it only goes to show what my state was then and how my new job is affecting me.
As with all things, it will take some getting use to.
And now, I'm tired, my body is still a bit stressed. I need to get some sleep.

DC Universe Online is already out and available, however, it is only attainable by buying the CD itself (no downloading). There isn't even a trial or Demo mode. I have heard mixed opinions from some beta testers. There are those that love them and there are those that say"Stay away from DCUO". I wanted to try it, however I'm not gonna pay $50 only to find out it's not to my liking. It would have been great if they have a trial.
There's a vid of the gameplay and... I dunno. Check it out starting at 3:00 and 3:12. The way the character fights with the sword... she looks kinda stiff, robotic. Well, that's just my observation.

Another MMORPG with Furries. Good gameplay or eyecandy?
General | Posted 15 years agoIt's called TERA Online. According to the game, it "intends to set itself apart with its lack of targeting, giving players full control over each move instead of targeting or hotkeys, emphasizing skills in combat."
So I guess it will be more Action-MMORPG then. Gameplays like DDO, Dynasty Warriors or even Devil May Cry comes to mind.
Anyways the graphics are cool to look at and they have an Anthro Character Race, a cute one at that. The Poporis. kinda like a tanuki.

General | Posted 15 years agoBad news: I resigned from my current job. I decided to resign on Monday, gave my resignation Tuesday and made the exit interview just earlier. Oh well.
Good news: I got a new job. I applied this morning, went through the works and before I know it, I was signing the contract. Yay!
Bad news: At the moment I don't have much money on hand and the job starts on Jan 10. I was told by my previous company that I will get my final pay on February. Bummer .
Good news: I still have a check waiting from my previous company's accounting department. It was from the time I was operated (Social security stuff). Woot!
Bad news: The money on the check ain't that much (reason why I haven't cashed it yet), but at least it's something. Mhmm.
Good News: My new salary is bigger than previous salary! Woo hoo!
Bad News: I used new shoes in my job hunt. My feet are hurting like hell. Ouch.
Good News: I love chocolates! Yum!
Bad News: I ate too much chocolate....

General | Posted 15 years agoI'm more in tune with my superhero self than my fantasy adventure self. I am totally enjoying Champions Online more than any other MMO's I've played. I dunno, for some reason bashing out bad guys (even minions in a grinding-like fashion) seems much more satisfying and enjoyable when using superpowers rather than using the traditional fantasy weapons and magic... for me anyway. BAM! KA-POW! BIFF! SOCK! PUNCH! ZAP! BOOM!
I also totally dig the character creation, especially with the diversity of costumes and parts available for your superhero.
I will still play DDO though from time to time.
I am definitely gonna try out DC Universe Online when it comes out.
