Due to the COVID19 outbreak, recommended hygienic practices also include social distancing and no unnecessary gatherings. I think for the time being, it would be best to temporarily suspend our monthly meetups until things have resolved a bit more.
Other cities, I advise you to consider similar action for your own meets.

Second announcement I have is that I have officially decided that we need to start doing some get-togethers in Casper again. It has been too long. And that's pretty much my fault. I'm sorry guys. I just got burned out, overwhelmed with everything in my personal life, and having to constantly remind people to show up to coffee every month. I got a bit salty that I was having to hand-hold mostly grown-ass adults to drag them to coffee every month. Personal texts, IMs, FB posts, and journals on the FA and still people wouldn't show even though it was the same time every month. It got super frustrating and I just ran out of hecks to give.
My hecks are in recovery now, so let's move on forward.
For now, let's stick to the 3rd Saturday of every month, but bump up to 6pm.
Instead of the Metro, let's do Friendly Ghost Games at 300 N. Center St. (Its right next to Subway!)
I can bring my Cards Against Humanity Deck, but my dice bag is missing so my RPG and dice based game ability is out for now. Anyone wants to bring Pokemon cards or MTG cards, do it. If you'd rather we play a board game, bring it. Let's have some damn ACTIVITIES! :D
Let's aim to kick this off on Saturday, June 16th.

I apologize for the state of things lately. The last 250ish days have burdened me with intense grief and a nice heaping dose of mentAL breakdown. I'm working on recovery, and am getting to the point where I think I can handle the monthly meets again. However, I am not OK with The Metro anymore, and several people have complained that our typical format of chatting and doodling is too boring.
So, I would like to propose changing things up. A change of venue for sure, maybe a change of date & time. We could make it a game night instead. We could play Cards Against Humanity, board games, OR if there's interest, I could DM a furry D&D game. Disclosure: I'm still new to running games, but I'd do it for you! ♡

ARVADA, CO - RMFC Tribute

Arvada Tails RMFC Tribute Dark Carnival Mini Con (1 Day)
So with the loss of RMFC this year it turns out that our normal Arvada Tails Day will now land on the Sunday that RMFC would of been on, due to this we have decided to make a 1 day mini con based around the Arvada tails meet we already run, This is going to consist of a "Ghetto" dealers den and even a dance show and planned fur suit games and a big parade around the olde town, Iv already got a bunch of artists dealers and dancers involved in this,
So i would like to formally invite all the furries of the world to attend this amazing event on August 13th starting at around 11am

Posted 8 years agoAttention Wyoming Furs. I am here today to post about something fairly important: RMFC.
For those who have not heard, RMFC 2017 has been canceled, and it is unlikely to return. They are going to try to refund everyone who has pre-registered. This decision was made by the RMFC staff for multiple reasons:
1. The Furry Raiders stirring up drama, which has resulted in MULTIPLE death threats and threats to bring guns to the con. The cost of hiring professional security is very weighty and more than the con's budget can absorb.
2. As the result of this drama, Kahuki (the former chairman who had to step down when his sex offender status was revealed publicly, but who retains ownership of the LLC) tried to settle it down by sending Cease & Desist letters to people he believed to be instigators of the hostility. However, he posed as an attorney to do so, which is illegal.
3. It has come to light that the LLC is extremely far behind in filing taxes, and may or may not be under IRS investigation.
4. They have been taking more heat for allowing a known sex offender, Growlie, to run the dealer's den and access everyone's personal information.
5. The upper level staff had an unofficial policy of never banning anyone from the con, so they could brag about how RMFC was so safe that nobody had ever been banned.
There's probably more going on, but these are the major ones that I know about. This is sad news for everyone who experienced a lot of good times at the convention and were looking forward to more, but I think it's for the best. The con management had some very deep flaws.
However, furry friends, there is good news. The Mile High Fur Con group has been planning to start a con in competition with RMFC, but since RMFC has crashed and burned, it will likely replace it. They are hoping to have their inaugural convention in 2018, and are planning to subject staff hires to background checks and have professed a zero tolerance policy for hate speech and drama-mongering. I hope this post helps some of you who are upset and concerned by the news.

This is lynnekitty and I need to discuss with you our annual holiday dinner. I still intend to host, but unfortunately, I have injured my sciatic nerve and unable to cook a huge feast for you all like I usually do. So this year, out of necessity, I shall have to make this dinner POTLUCK.
Where: My house! If you don't know the way, ask and ye shall receive!
When: Thursday, December 31, 2015 (NEW YEAR'S EVE), 7:00PM
If you know what you are planning to bring, please let me know, so I can post it for all to see. :)
Alcohol is allowed, and if anyone needs to stay the night, they may.
I have an empty room, a futon mattress AND an air mattress.
