Hey guys! Jade the wolf (Hayden) here with a little update for February!
As time dragged on from November, little has changed, with the exception of the snow outside. My dad still has no job, and the situation is getting worse. We have under 50K and its going so fast that we wont have any money by the end of may. As such, I've put things like Youtube video production, Art, Development on my game, and other things behind on my list so I can focus on family and Schoolwork. I will admit: I'm sick of it, and it's getting to me. Especially now that my WANTS are overshadowed by our true needs, which is never an experience I actually had as a younger child, although to the brain of someone that young it may seem like it. ALSO, I just want to clarify that I AM NOT A FEMBOI. I JUST LIKE THE ARTSTYLE AND THINK IT IS INTERESTING TO FOLLOW. It was probably a mistake on my behalf to put it on my page, because then  akirudirewolf pointed it out. I'm sure many of you have heard of UNDERTALE. Weather you've seen videos of it, or played it for yourself, you have likely fallen in love with it for one reason or another. I too, have been abducted by the clutches of the Underground. This is a GREAT GAME. Also, Temmie is just adorable!!!
I am happy to announce that I have gotten my fursona in order after being in the fandom for just over a year at this point. His name is Jade. Jade is a Wolf (Canis lupus) because AREN'T I JUST SO ORIGINAL WOWZERS IT'S A WOLF THAT'S NEW. Jade is some weird green color that I looked at and thought "That color looks like some shade of Jade... HEY WAIT A MINUTE!". Also he has silver ears which are shown, and a blue tongue which is not shown! (Hey, you can only do so much with free lineart) Also, tomorrow is my half birthday. So, I guess i'm gonna be 14 in half a year. Just 2.5 years until I can drive, assuming all of that goes well... Speaking of which, my dad promised if i'm doing good in school when I get my license he will give me his 2014 Toyota 4 Runner, so that's cool! No, if you'll excuse me, the final episode of gravity falls airs in one hour.

Well, it's... been awhile. heh. my activity peaked during mid summer and slowed to a halt with only 2 things from me since my birthday. well, im back. time to update stuff.

so since my last journal i am becoming increasingly confident not only that I can draw, but in most general aspects of life. I'm kinda starting to move out of that teenage sack of shit early and figure out who I am and begin to mature as that entity. The future looks bright, but there is still some clouds. For instance...
Making a move
My dad... was fired. My mom hasn't had a job since she started going back to school. we now have no income and have not since my birthday. We can survive for a few months maximum... but no another full year if we don't get any income. Him getting a job locally is tough, which means... Yes, I am likely moving soon. Likely out of Wisconsin, too. Sorry  wisconsinfurs , our time was short together. Wait a second! Time...hm...
O N E Y E A R
As of earlier this month, I have officially been part of the furry fandom for a year now. I have stuck to it, and with my head held higher than ever, it's a good sign that i'm here to stay! Y'all are an amazing bunch, and I've only met four in person four about 2 hours. It can only get better. It's been a great first year for me.

yay! today is my birthday. I also get to go to six flags tomorrow. I'm not complaining!

Thinking about the future always gets me hyped, but at the same time depressed. See, what gets me hyped is that i'll be able to get a job, get a car, and become more involved with my hobbies like the furry fandom! however, I then start to think about some negative things, like trying to get better at drawing, finding acceptance, getting through my education, and most of all coming out. but... overall, I can't decide about whether the future is more good or bad.

OK... So its time for phase 2 of summer, you could say. I leave for Vacation tomorrow, so I've got lots of packing to do. Also, This marks the day I've been in the fandom for 8 months! Time really does fly. However, it also marks six months since I tried to tell my parents I'm a furry. Didn't exactly work... But Looking back I realize it was too early. I'm maturing a lot more, and odd things are happening to me. And I know what it all means... Yep. I'm going through that socially awkward phase of early teenage-hood... shoot. Well, it was bound to happen eventually. Moving on... After vacation I have one week of summer camp. should be fun, so I wont really be back until August. I'm going to try on work on drawing on vacation. Lots of opportunity for that, since I'm going out west to Wyoming and the likes of the surrounding areas. Also, there is a gaping hole in my heart as a gamer now, because Satoru Iwata has passed away. He was the genius behind the past 13 years of Nintendo, so he has been there since I was born.
Final Note: I took a test on if I am A furry or not, just for fun. The result? I am 95% Furry. Well, holy hell!
Also my Birthday is in 1 month and 2 days.

So... I'm back from canada after catching a 40-inch musky. now... Its summer as I planned. I am however thinking of reworking and rethinking my fursona, its just... Boring. Also, I've been part of the furry fandom for 6 months now! I am starting to think I might not try to get better at the art thing, and I'll just draw randomly and get better as I go, so really i'm just disorganizing what i thought. Still don't have a clue what August will be, but whatever.

So as you guys know, its almost the end of may now, and summer means more freetime. I'll be getting out of school in about 2 weeks. Don't try to contact me for a week after the 4th, because i'll be in canada fishing with my dad. We go up there every summer, so i've known about this for quite awhile. After that i'm free for the most part up until july when my schedule is absolutely PACKED. I've got a vacation to the western states like montana,wyoming, and south dakota. then after that ive got boy scout camp which lasts a week. So Other than that... I'm gonna be mostly free. I plan on trying to practice my art over the summer, but don't expect anything good for a long while. I plan on getting to the point where I can draw my full fursona for references. My birthday is actually coming up in the middle of august... so that's gonna happen. I may go to a local meet or two, depending on the time. (you gotta remember, I'm busy and my parents don't want me being a fur.) Also i'll continue to be away from FA for the most part... But i'll still check back here!

So yesterday morning at approximately 11:15 I was sitting in a perkins using the wifi there to check furaffinity. I notice that a user has left a shout on my board about a local meet at noon. keep in mind I was 2 hours away at the time. It was noon by the time we left. We managed to get home around 2:45 and I zoomed down to the meet on my bike, it took me about 5 minutes, I had assumed that the meet was over considering how long it had been since it was supposed to start. We chatted and things, while I watched the others draw. (I forgot my supplies, and didn't think to bring them at all.) Around 4:15 or so I had to go home, but It was still a worthwhile 1.5 hours.
