so i dont talk a lot about it here but i am agoraphobic and i have severe ptsd (etc etc etc. its the internet u heard it before) my therapist has been gently encouraging me to try and make more friends so i thought tumblr would be ok....i forgot that social media was tailored to destroy my brain T_T wound up havinf a relapse and not doing as much art as i wanted bc i got obsessed with my tumblr img. doesnt help that the shitty hp game just came out and thats all anyone wants to talk about. deleted this morning after like a week of being back on there. ill have to try again some other way to socialize. maybe going outside??? O_O

for vday mi lovely bf got me some alcohol markers! i used to have a set of prismacolor markers, lost them in a move. these are blicks brand and i like them a lot! i also got into the world of cannabis concentrates to self medicate earlier mentioned ptsd and its exciting to learn about all the things in weed that make it work! chemistry is so cool!! so things arent all rough

hopefully without distractions and now that i have a good weed routine i can get back to art. its all i wanna do in my life and theres too many distractions. ty for reading if u did :3

i have a complicated relo with this site....ive been furry forever even if i was too ashamed to admit it fully, but i hung out on deviantart. theres been a lot said about furaffinity and while i agree with a lot of the criticism there are good things to like!

people seem a lot more interactive than on deviantart (though atill a lot less interactive than the web of 20 yrs ago...i gotta accept at some point culture has changed lol)

while i dont really like the redesign in terms of theme i do enjoy how easy it is to view art without any glitches. i use my ipad primarily and deviantart can be VERY glitchy let alone all the sites not designed for art but get used as galleries anyway. its refreshing to click on full view and be able to see a full view image

uploading art is fairly painless as well, last gallery site i used was dA and it felt so overly complicated. the list of species could probably be consolidated but thats it

and lastly: its a furry site so i get to meet a lot of people like ME :D

are there any things u like about furaffinity that u dont see talked about often? the world is often negative so it can be helpful to look on the bright side once in a while :3

i had gotten too into my art as a product (and not even being rewarded bc im bad at marketing) so doing art for fun has been exciting and im glad people like it :3
