General | Posted a year ago Hello! It's been awhile. Again. I'm usually not one to share RL information, but here it is for full transparency.
Awhile back, my laptop died again and this time there's no bringing it back BUT I do now have a desktop, though the replacement cables for the power supply and graphics card are taking longer to arrive than I thought. Hoping soon they'll come in and I'll be back up and running to get owed completed files out.
Now another major reason I have been gone for so long. As I've stated in a past journal, I am a bio female. I had needed emergency life saving surgery back in April due to an ovary getting obliterated by an ovarian cyst - go by masc pronouns 90% of the time (fem pronouns are okay! I don't jump people's hides about it!). Miraculously, in August, my husband and I found out we were expecting clearly a miracle baby. Since back in 2019 to near mid 2022 we have been trying with no success and believed we never could. Felt like doctors gave us false hopes. I was also working outside the home again trying to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table while my husband was still out on medical leave for the same injury that WAS supposed to be fully healed - that was what his surgeon had implied back in Nov 2022. The plate in his ankle broke and the bones weren't even healed. Twice. Meaning he needed two more surgeries last year for replacement and once again further repairs to the bones in his ankle, including pieces of donor bone to replace the damaged section of bones that couldn't heal properly.
He was finally officially cleared to go back to work this passed April! And my last day of work was at the end of March in preparation for the arrival of our son. Whom didn't officially arrive until mid April. All in all, my pregnancy journey was difficult, but he's here strong and healthy!
The last couple years have been rough, 2023 a much larger and difficult challenge. So. I'll be retiring from doing commission work, though I am not leaving the art community! I'll be mainly focusing on my Jyehna world species (O'rheni and Ra'veira), personal art, bases, misc adopts and YCH. I'm also hoping to get back into streaming for those that'd would like to come hang out and chat, watching my art and possibly also do random adopt raffles in them. Claiming any adopts I make via my hopeful future streams will also be available to do if any of my designs draw anyone's fancy.
Again, I apologize for being gone for so long again and will be up and running as soon as I'm able!

Update: Changes
General | Posted 2 years agoOver the last few weeks, since my previous journal, scratch the whole removing NSFW from this account. Thinking it over, I don't think I will be able to keep up two accounts for SFW and NSFW to be honest.
I have finally put together a Terms of Service! It is in effect as of today, 6/17/2023

I have also put together two order forms, one for commissions and one for O'rheni customs.

At this time commissions are still on Hiatus, but hopefully here in another *week I should be able to have everything up and running again. I will post again when they're open. My hope with making the forms it will make everything go more smoothly and organized in the commissioning process.
*My hope is I'll be able to have streaming up and running again within that time frame - if there are no commission orders, streams will consist of personal art, adopt creations, base work and/or Jyehna World lore sheet work. Though, if there is commission orders, streams will mainly consist of commission work until they are complete.
When it comes to commissions, I will only accept through the ordering forms to keep everything in one place instead of all over the place (i.e FA notes, TH notes, discord, ect) where everything could potentially get chaotic and lost.

General | Posted 2 years agoI'm alive! Commissions are on Hiatus till further notice.
Updating from McD's wifi; Phone and nets are currently off, RL has been... chaotic as of late. Now near a few months ago I had emergency life saving surgery. Long story short, had a large cyst burst an ovary (yes, I have those, still prefer masc pros please). I'm recovering fine, able to walk and sorta bend with little pain, but still move kinda slow and sitting up too long is still bit difficult.
My husband has been out of work since April 27th, we found out the plate in his ankle was broken. He was in a motorcycle accident back in August 2022. He had surgery few days ago to finally get it replaced, the earliest they could get him in... He will be out of work for another six weeks, IF not longer.
So... our savings now gone, I've went back into the workforce. Honestly have been looking for a job last few weeks before his surgery. Finally have one, working a factory job. Mon-Sat 5am to 7pm - so until my first paycheck, should be this upcoming friday, I should be able to get the internet turned back on and rest of rent covered.
Other news, when I return I will be removing NSFW from this account and making my FA strictly my SFW. I'll link my new NSFW account at a later date when I'm back.
I do have character up for sale, through the week I'll stop somewhere with wifi to check in after work. I won't be able to stay no more than 30min connected to wifi where I stop, since I need to be home to help my husband while he's not able to put any weight on his foot.
I'm sorry for any inconveniences and I'm doing my best to get everything sorted out!

A few simple rules
-As they are a closed species, MYO slots are $30 USD for either a Demonic or Divine O'rheni
-With this slot, you can create your own or commission someone to draw one up for you; however, keep in mind it has to be within the species specifics:
Hybrids will not be accepted at this time!
Aberrants are the only variant with a feral form and are also not available for the MYO!

-All O'rheni have blue blood, meat/innards
Demonic Info:
-Capable of shifting between male or female
-Have a formal form (two legged) and naga form to shift between either
-The only subtype with black instead of whites for their eyes
-A more relaxed subtype, they do not view others beneath them/subservient nor are they matriarchal
-Have a restriction on their breeding by the Divine, Demonic have the potential of creating an Aberrant offspring which are far more violent, psychotic and have cannibalistic tendencies. Demonic O'rheni born with more scales than others of their subtype are carriers of the Aberrant genes and have a far Higher probability of having an Aberrant offspring with another Demonic.
-If another outside their species visit their city, the Demonic are quick to assign an escort/bodyguard to them
Divine Info:
-Only ones with feathering instead of scales
-Do not have horns nor blacks of their eyes like demonic, just whites
-Have a higher status in society and are matriarchal, males are second class in their society
-They are capable of shifting genders, but is frowned upon in their beliefs.
-Same with shifting into their naga forms, it is seen barbaric and greatly frowned upon as well (though some do so anyways)
-Do view others beneath them and are known to enslave others within their subtype, the Demonic subtype and/or of another species if they do not have a Demonic escort/bodyguard
-Pass the death penalty on any Demonic that break the breeding laws placed on them; an Aberrant offspring is immediately eradicated at birth. (This is if found)
The above is basic variant Lore, yours does not have to follow being strict like other Divine or relaxed as most Demonic.
There are no color restrictions other than mentioned earlier their blood/meat/innards must be blue.
Demonic can have any horn shape/size, there is no restrictions.
Now, when you've completed your O'rheni please link them below for me to see. I'll let you know via note if any small details need to be changed/added. If there are no changes needed, I'll comment 'Accepted/Approved'.

Life Events Update!
General | Posted 4 years agoI'm leaving my day job New Years Eve!!
So once the new computer arrives (ETA somewhere around mid Dec - early Jan) I will be focusing on personal artwork, owed art, commissions.
Also will put out as much story lore as I can about the O'rheni and Ra'veria.
-Ra'veira may end up being semi-open, I have not fully decided on the idea just yet.
I will be reworking my T.o.S as well and setting up streaming schedules in the near future.
Big focus though will be my fiancé and myself getting everything lined up and prepared for our wedding in May 2022.
I've been giddy since I've put my resignation date in today.
