I just realized something today... I haven't seen hardly any Renamon or Krystal art for a really long time. I remember when I first started getting into furries, way before I ever even joined this site, Renamon and Krystal were basically the mascot of furries. Even when I joined FA several years ago, I would regularly see Krystal and Renamon pics posted by people, not all of them were of amazing quality, but its still fun to see someone's interpretation...sometimes, lol. Anyway, thats just my little realization for the day I guess. Nothing really special, but i would really like to see some new Renamon and Krystal art around sometime, it doesn't even have to be X-rated just some good ol' renamon and krystal is fine for me. I propose that we, as the furry population, should add about 20% more renamon and krystal to the art pool and remove about 20% of the mlp art from the art pool. I think then we'd have a good ratio. ^_^

Yes, you read right, I think we need a furry for prez. So, with that being said, I declare that I am now running for president of the universe. VOTE X-FACTOR 2012!

I promise that if I get in office, I would make LGBT marriages legal in every planet of the universe, as well as have a advisory council consisting of super-intelligent shades of the color blue. I also would plan to reduce all income taxes and legalize marijuana, but only have it legal to consume it in the 'coffeeshops' and in the user's home. As for the science aspect, I would triple NASA's budget, and have them use a portion of that increase in budget would be used to research ultra realistic virtual reality. That way people could go on vacations in whatever setting they like...even if it doesn't really exist, *wink, wink* Also, all fursuiters could register with the government to get tax breaks and such for making people happy and boosting the moral of the world. Plus everyone would get a daily ration of high quality tea and coffee.

All that stuff and more await you if I get elected! So, VOTE X-FACTOR 2012!!!

So there is a good chance that I'm going to be getting a paying job in audio before I even get out of school! I got in contact with a guy yesterday about possibly getting me sub-contracted out by this audio union that was looking for a sound-man to operate the boards at some larger venues in my town. I'm really hoping everything works out that I get this job! So far it looks like it will since he said that they REALLY needed an audio guy. Wish me luck! This could be my break into the PAYING world of audio! :D

I'm at college. I cut lots of grass on the weekends. I have like 0 time for any music right now. T_T I've got some stuff I kinda sorta started on the other day in about 30 minutes, but thats about all the energy I could muster up after a full 9 hours of cutting grass. this kinda sucks, but at least I got something going and that this is my last semester in college. I AM SO FUCKING READY TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE AND GET A REAL JOB!!! NOTE: I double checked the contract I signed with this label to make sure i still retained all the rights to my music .

I can still sell my music under my own name or label, just as long as I don't try to use their label name. Basically, I can't market my music under their name, only mine. That seems very fair to me as well. I also get paid a good percentage of the sales from the album my stuff is on too, but it only pays quarterly. So no immediate changes in finances, but i did notice a few new oddly specific views from some random Russian burlesque site. Not sure why people are being linked from that site to my bandcamp site, but hey! If tahts what type of people like and buy my music then thats fine with me! I mean, its not like they're FURRIES or something. XD (Love you guys)

To sum up everything nicely, I'd have to say that in the last few weeks, some things and some stuff happened, and some of those things were kinda cool, and some of the stuff was kinda crap, lol.

I just finished reading a very good fantasy novel called 'Tooth and Claw' by Jo Walton. I read it on my kindle touch and I loved it! It reads kinda like a Victorian novel except everyone is a dragon, and all human customs and cultures are thrown out. Makes for a very interesting read! It's filled with reading families, a little death, romance and a bit of fighting. When I started reading this book I was afraid the romance parts would be a bit out of place, and cheesy, but with the way the story is written it fits in perfectly and the story would be lacking without it. Very good read! I would recommend this book to everyone! :D

I was just wondering if anyone is going to the Anime World Chicago this upcoming weekend. The gf and I will be attending on Friday and Saturday, and I was just curious as to whether any of you guys would be going. I'm just really happy right now, as many of you know, I've recently came into a couple interesting opportunities, with my friend Luke, and  quakeman00's game which I'm going to be doing the music for, and now I just found out that an up and coming DJ in San Diego wants to do some collaborations with me! Yup, so, I uploaded a little voice meme earlier and I decided to do it as if I was doing a podcast. It was actually very fun to put together. The thing that's awesome is that it allows me to combine the world of radio and audio recording together. Very fun! So anyway, I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas about cool topics to talk about for a podcast. I think it would be really fun to put one together ever two weeks or so, but I want to have a bit of an itinerary of topics to do every podcast. I'd also like to add a bit of light humor in it as well.

Dear Princess Celestia...

A few weeks ago, I finished watching the first season of MLP. As a few of you probably know, my initial impressions with the show were not all that great, but I was determined to understand why grown men would get all giddy over the show, as I myself have personally seen...ಠ_ಠ. So...I pressed on, watching every episode (except for MOST of the singing parts, since some of them kinda went with the plot).

Eventually, the episodes started getting better as the characters started to show more of their personality, and as the dialogue got more clever. To my surprise, I actually started enjoying the show enough to watch it often, as in about everyday. This changes happened to me in about the last half of the first season, and by the last episode, I found myself getting a little sad knowing that I was out of new episodes to watch. Amazing...

After realizing that I DID like the show, I decided to download the 2nd season, which, once again to my surprise, got even better! The characters more interesting, the plot easily kept my attention, an the dialogue and gags actually got me to AUDIBLY laugh at some points. This is unbelievable. I never in my days would've thought that a children's program would actually be able get me into the show, MORE than some other programs that were actually meant for my age group! This has indeed been a fascinating endevour!

With all that being said, I have a final statement to make. My little Pony: Friendship is Magic is, in fact, a decent show despite being a children's program. With it's witty humor, clever gags, and memorable characters, it has the capacity to capture the even imagination of viewers out of its age group. I would also like to give props to Lauren Faust and Jayson Thiessen for making a good show that can truly be enjoyed by all ages.
