Posted 11 years agoPlease, please, please. Remove all personal data and files from your technology before recycling or disposing of it. I tend to find old laptops and things (a tablet this week) at the local recycling center that still have saved logins and other personal information stored on them. At least wipe the hard drive, if not remove it. You can google how to do a factory reset or remove parts on just about anything these days and find a youtube video to show you how.
I have twice so far found tax records, with names, adresses, SSNs and other very sensitive information on computers that were being disposed of. I wipe all the data, but if I were a less honest person, there is a lot I could do with that!

So, I was going to do a raffle when I hit 300 watchers, woops! AC happened, then I got sick, then work stuff, so it is a bit late! I have almost 350 now!

I will be commissioning
Narcotic-Sprinkles to do the piece when it is done and paying for both slots. I will be going with the flat colors, though if the winner wants to pitch in the extra it could be full color.

Over the weekend I was at :iconfurry-con" and had an absolute blast. Things ran a lot smoother than the End of the World Party, since all the staff were actually able to make it this year! I spent the weekend being the lead for the video game room. I hope all of those who attended enjoyed the systems I bought. =^.^= Can't wait for next year!
