Moving to :3

So I have Windows 7 64 and for some reason when I installed my old Intuous3 Wacom tablet it ate my mouse and only the tablet would work... So after uninstalling the tablet and getting another mouse I'm trying to figure out what I should do. I have a new Intuous5 tablet at work, but I'm not sure if it would eat this new mouse... So I'm wondering what I should do! ; n ;

Not sure if anyone on here plays this game, but future warning... Don't waste your time, don't waste your money.

Final Fantasy XIV Review

Okay, first off.. I play many games. Many (good) games. I have to say this is the biggest upset I've ever encountered of any game I've ever played. In my life... The fact that the creators at Square had the nerve to put "Final Fantasy" on this game is infuriating. I played this game in beta and I was very interested. Sadly the interest came to an abrupt stop once the release came out. Here's where the merciless review comes in for these scumbags who released this ball of shit to the public and called it a "game."

On a good note, The graphics in this game are second to none as far as MMOs come. This game is visually stunning and rightfully so to draw in players.

However if you don't like crafting you're already going to hate this game. 98% of all in game items must be created by the player base. This means (and I promise you) you will spend every second of your game time leveling up a crafting skill just to scrape by with money. Meaning if you want a weapon, you're going to have to go find someone to buy it from and hope you're getting a good deal. But before all of that you may think "Oh, crafting.. not so bad." And indeed it looks not so bad. The process of gathering materials and actually making items seems rather new and inventive from a new player's standpoint. The sad truth that even using the proper mechanics to build items you still have chances to fail even the most simple items regardless of what level you are. Having a game driven by player slave labor you'd think the crafting system would be fun and rewarding when it is quite the contrary.

Next is the HUD or the heads up display. Most MMO's have a simple interface, but Final Fantasy 14 made a revolutionary system that could piss me off before I could even play the game. Every option in the game must be explored through an ungodly amount of lagging windows that take forever to display and in most cases 5 confirmation windows just to create a simple fucking item. The interface alone is enough to make me punch holes in the wall with my face...

After the horribly inefficient interface comes the horribly inefficient market where all of these players will sell their good to other players. Oh wait it can't even be called a market because there IS NO FUCKING MARKET WHAT SO EVER! >:O The only way to find items is by looking at a player's name tag for a small brown bag icon next to it. This is the only way you can tell if and what someone is selling. There is no information on what or how many of anything is being sold by other players and it is often 90% overpriced crap because people have no idea how to make money but try and scam people. This game took the sandbox concept of EVE online and then nuked the whole Auction House/Centralized Market as if it was not important.

This is where it gets even more fun. When you craft items you'd think okay I'm a blacksmith so I can make weapons... You're sadly mistaken. While it is actually interesting that you need the work of almost all other job classes to make a complete item it is really fucking annoying to try and find those other random items that other players make IF YOU HAVE TO CLICK EVERYONE'S NAME TAG AND HIT OPEN MENU > TARGET > EXAMINE every mother fucking time to examine the people who you have no idea what or if they have something for sale that you need. This problem in turn leads people often rolling up to 5 different classes just so they can make items. All of which have to be leveled separately.

This game is absolute unpolished and freshly squeezed SHIT

I looked over and upon seeing the empty cushion to my left I just felt this horrible lonely feeling. It's so still in my apartment. Lifeless and dull. I'm really really having a block on what to do for an art piece that I'm trying to do that will get accepted to a rather prestigious art gallery. A professor at my college said that I was the only person in her class she offered the invitation to, but to be honest I'm really not that experienced with painting and I'll have to have my stuff approved before it's displayed. I have till the 29th to get something in and hopefully I can sell it for some extra money on the side.

Well, I'm not really big on journals. I guess it's a good way to keep track of personal thoughts and such. I think it's been quite a while since I wrote another Journal, and for that I'm hacking away in the early hours of the day.

I was walking out late last night and among the dim street lamps and the array of lights I felt myself a little lost in thought. I looked up, and I didn't see the stars. I just saw a empty haze that faded up above the luminescence, and left me below. I looked around, and even though the surroundings were meant to harbor the massive population, I could only feel the ambient lights around me.. Not a face to be seen. At the moment I was glad I had forgotten my wallet at home, but the empty static also brought back the wandering thoughts.

I think I'm just going to take my candle outside and soak in everything that confuses me.

Yeah very busy, but trying to keep stuff up to date.

I really don't feel good.

Just one of those nights I guess. I have a tendency to get lost in thought. I analyze
myself from a point of view beyond myself. One can only see how small an individual is among billions. Then to think that this billion in just one planet in the vast unknown of space and time... It's hard to think my life is anything but a random clump of molecules. There is so much we can't understand and so much we want to explain. I used to be religious to some extent, but after the death of a close friend I wondered why if there was a god would they make someone so innocent and youthful die such a horrible death. Why is the world plague by disease and genocide? Why do people seek power through destruction? Why is it that when I'm laughing with friends and feeling as though I've accomplished something I drive back home to sit alone and realize that it all means nothing. I've yet to experience anything close to love for well over 4 years now. Though some days I'd rather go home to sit in silence. The quiet hum of my computer echoing through the empty space here. I stay awake.. 12am.. 1am.. 2am.. Waiting for something, waiting to do something, but it never comes. Why do I never sleep? Why am I the only one in the crowd sitting alone at a restaurant table staring across at the empty chair? Alas I get to wake to another day of rinse and repeat crap. I should find something to do to occupy my thinking before typing anymore.

Almost forgot.. >.> I've been trying to scribble up some drawings, but I have certain other things distracting me at the moment. It's just kinda hard because I feel like right when I get in my drawing mood I'm at work or in class! >.< So by the time I get home I just sit down and do homework.

Anywho.. I think I'm going to try to get something for valentines done. Hopefully. ._. been a while since I've posted anythin.

Uh, just giving a random status update since I'm not here that often. I'm really busy doing essays and studying for exams so I'm eager to get drawing as soon as I don't have to worry about getting another 92 or above to get A's in my classes. e_e;

I'm already working on a gift art for someone, but I'm just kinda chilaxing for a bit and I don't really think I can budge myself to do trades just yet. Anywho I'll keep this updated if anyone cares.
