Tried watching turning Red and just... Not for me.
Posted 3 years agoGotta say the energy of this film is just... Not for me. Just the perky excited tween energy of the opening and I know I am going to not get into it. I can't say if it's good or not because, well it's not something I am going to pretend I get it.
Shouldn't, didn't, won't
Posted 3 years agoI feel like my life is a series of things I shouldn't have done, things I didn't do and things I won't ever do. It feels like every right decision I've made has been for the wrong reasons. I'm not even sure I should do this, write this, sure this. Like it's a cry for attention I don't deserve, shouldn't want and won't need. But my brain is just overflowing, with these stupid, jumbled, depressing thoughts. I shouldn't have fetishes because I don't have sexual experience... I shouldn't be able to give advice I won't apply to my self. I can't have a future because I have no passion driving me. I should have a passion, but I can't find anything that seems worth wile. I want people to notice me but also not pay attention... I should delete this, I can't expect people to care, I don't deserve to be cared about. I missed out on things I should have done, and I can't do them now. I'm goingt die alone, sharing my feelings will get me punished, getting help will make me miserable, not getting help will make me miserable. I sound like I'm fucking high but I don't do drugs. Death feels like the only escape but it won't solve anything. So long as your not hurting yourself or others they leave you alone, just admiting you think of death is the same s admit g our suicidal, I don't want to die, I shouldn't when I think I do I just straight to nope, too scary, too perminate, it'll only cause more pain. If there's nothing after this then it's oblivion, only idiots think that is better than the pain, because if you hurt your alive, if you hurt there is nope because if there is pain then there is also feeling good. I'll die a virgin, I can't heven masterbate correctly! I have never even achieved orgasm on purpose. If someone I know reads this they will think I'm am crazy! But I'm not I just have all this mental noise and no where to just dump it, no way to get rid of it because I don't fucking self medicate with alcohol or drugs. No that's what 'normal" people do, and it's a joke, people FAKE normal.
Ever wonder if you don't belong in the fandom?
Posted 3 years agoSometimes I feel like I really don't belong in the Furry Fandom. That there is a "right way" to be part of it and I have failed. I haven't changed my tastes really, but I've had so little interaction with other Furries in the last few years that I'm afraid I just wouldn't fit in with them anymore. Of course I generally worry about that with people then older I get. Like no body really knows who I am, like I'm just this anonymous person and if I simply vanished one day nothing would change.
After writing this I feel kind of shitty, like I'm whining or seeking attention and I should just shut up...

Pokemon Remakes so Accurate they have OG glitches
Posted 4 years agoNintendo's Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes are so in the spirit of the originals they even contain a glitch that allows you to boundary break and access Event Exclusive Pokemon Saymin and Darkrai, because of course people speed ran in the instant it was released though the eShop, beat the game in the first day and found the glitches!
Some Fans Don't actually like thier Favorite characters
Posted 4 years agoTook me oddly a long time I put this together, bit so many members of a fandom DON'T actually even like thier Favorite characters, rather they are fans of thier Appearance and nothing else. Take the Infamous Onceler fandom, a fandom based on a character from the Lorax, that doesn't like movie or the book. The whole fandom focused on the appearance of the character and stereotypes projected onto him. It had a huge fanfic cross over where countless fans created person's that where all diffrent but for one thing, they all Physically looked like Onceler, not one acted like him or had his personality, just his looks.
This also extends to fans who draw and write Fics about a character, where sad character has a different back story and acts in a totally different way.
I'm always wondered why Sepithroth from Final Fantasy 7 had a huge fan base. Now I realize it's because his fans liked the idea of a Goth, Silver haired, Bishioden guy and ignored the fact the actual Character is an omnicidal, inhuman monster who if you sad you loved him would kill you dispassionately with out hesitation.
Terrible or bland characters get followings based on an appealing design, the "fan" just projects what they want onto the appearance. They treat them like blank slates, with no value beyond being short cut in creating a OC or persona. It's easier just lift the character design from someone else than make your own. It's why so many fursonas look exactly like existing characters with minor cosmetic tweaks.
This is also why Twilight was popular, Bella Swan is a blank slate by design, so the reader projects Edward and Jacob's obsessions on to them selves. It's not the story of Bella is the story of the reader/viewer being romanced buy a powerful male they have total control over.
It makes me kind of sad how so many "fandoms" attach it incomplete projects because as long as the project is in progress the fans can project the personalities, motivations, likes etc on to the characters that match themselves. Once the project get made a large portion of the fandom will leave because the characters now have defined personalities and are harder to project onto. If a character is established as in a relationship with another well then they can't be paired with who you think they should be with, yes some will insist the way they projected is the way it "really" is.

A "Product of it's time" shouldn't be rebooted
Posted 4 years agoRecently in the gamer space mention of soon to be released reboot of the Saints Row series has gotten attention. Interviews with developers mention the reboot will have a new attitude and send of humor to the original games. That makes me have to ask "Well why are you rebooting it?", If you plan to completely change the core of the IP WHY reboot it? Why not just make an original thing? The only reason I can see is to use the fans of the IP as a criticism shield. If you reboot the IP and your reboot sucks you can say "It was the toxic fans fault we failed not the quality of the product!" I can't be alone in being sick and tired of this logic. If you feel a IP was problematic and needs to be completely changed to be acceptable why are you remaking it? I am so frustrated with "creatives" signing up to projects that they know nothing about or actively don't like. If it's such a product of it's time then leave it where it is! Some IP can't be divorced from the era they where made in, can't be modernized, and frankly should be left as is and not changed. Time and again this happens and no one seems to learn.
So yes my point is simply if an Intellectual Property is tied to a certain era at it's very core, leave it alone. Ripping out the core and reanimating the corpse will just result in a soulless abomination. Not everything old can be new again, and you can't recapture a one of a kind moment in time.

Y the Last Man is going to be a cluster
Posted 4 years agoWell FX/Hulu picked the worst possible time to adapt the comic Y The Last Man. A well written comic about a world where a virus wipes out a!l genetic males. Of course already we have people upset, asking questions that a few years ago would be clear, or who will be upset by what the show will be.
Sme are upset because it's a post apocalypse story and they are female supremacist with cries of "The death of males would lead to world peace not the apocalypse!"
Some are going to be upset cause they were told it deals with the "death of all cis men" boy are they going to be pissed, because no, no, no. Gay men and Trans women will die too, viruses don't care about what you inventory as, this is a virus killing off people with y chromosomes. Sorry but discourse around the difference between genetic gender and gender identity AlWAYS end in arguments. We can't even get everyone to agree on terminology and definitions.
Intersexed, dead you need a Y chromosomes to be intersexed, so dead. I'm sure some one will claim I am wrong or bring up that "intersexed has nothing to do with genetics". Anyone another point of not agreeing on definitions.
Others are upset already the show is a out the Last Man, and the consiquences of what that means, to be the only biological male left and presumably the only one who's genes can produce male children immune to the virus. They want to see a female Utopia, not follow the struggles of the male protagonist who the whole world would be after. The story of a person reduced to a resource.
So again, the amount of arguments and hate this show will start make this the WORST time to release it, it doesn't matter if the show is good, Now is not the Time for Y The Last Man.

What exactly do "Adopts" get you?
Posted 4 years agoOh still not 100% on character and outfit "Adopt" auctions, what exactly are you getting? Are getting art or just permission to use a design? Cause if it's just a design that's pretty much just a donation because most I've yet to see anything mentioning of copyrights. The majority of the designs aren't even unique enough to argue they are copy righted. So what is an design adoption other than donating money to the person? I mean. What's to stop me for using a derivative design especially when it's a derivative of something else it self? You made a OC whom is derivative of an existing character why would I pay $25 dollars to use it in art when I can make my own derivative for free? Why is your outfit idea worth me paying for it I have to draw it myself or pay someone else to?
I hate Kevin Smith
Posted 4 years agoRant time. I hate Kevin Smith, he is an asshole.
If you don't care or haven't heard Kevin Smith created a "sequel" to the 1983 He-Man series. And he LIED multiple times about that it was. He said it was for the Fans, it wasn't. He said it was about He-Man, it isn't. He said he was a huge He-Man fan, he isn't. Every rumor and leak he said where lies, every rumor and leak was true.
He mixes continuities, he rewrites character back stories and personalities. He boasted how happy he was he wrote it to Kill of He-Man, bring him back and kill him AGAIN.
He claimed he watched the show in 1981, a show that first aired in 1983. Then admitted he didn't, he hate watched as a teen. He called He-man fans Man-Babies, all fans of 1980's cartoons Man-Babies.
Worse the show wastes the Voice talents of Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy by miscasting them.
And yes I gave it a chance, I watched it. Power House animation made a beautiful looking show, it looks fantastic.
But the story...For every bit of fan service is a counterpoint of fan insult. Every good idea is hollowed out for wokeness. It queer baits. It kills off beloved characters because Kevin hated them. It transforms the female lead into a self-centered jerk who's biggest fear is "I'm too awesome". Who hates He-Man for haveing a secret identity, to the point she doesn't care he sacrificed himself to save the Universe because he lied.
This breaks my heart, Smith was supposed to be a Fan of Popcultire, but he's not. He ruined He-Man and now... Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob they are ruined now, because I know they came from a asshole.

New art after... 5 years.
Posted 4 years agoWow I haven't drawn anything in 5 freaking years, and pretty much exactly where I was skill wise too. Part of me feels happy I finally managed to do something I like as a hobby after all the bull crap I've gone though inn the past few years. Though I feel, I dunno unskilled? Uncommitted? Not passionate? I still draw on paper and haven't even seen a real life digital art pad, or at least not seen one and known what it was. Well anyway finally managed to post some more of my crummy art after so long.
Am I wrong for not wanting to Pre-Roleplay in table top R...
Posted 5 years agoI've started campaigns in several table top RPGs, and though sadly most kind of just ended. The players got bord after a session or real life got in the way and the group just couldn't come together.
But one thing that that has really frustrated me is when the DM/GM requires all the players do "Pre-Roleplaying". I actually had one game I tried to join online fall apart because the DM demanded a 5 page history of every PC before he'd start the game, and we had to start at level 15. I wanted to start out with a near blank slate and create the character as I went to see what I ended up with, those requirements where what you'd expect after playing for like 3 years it felt like he wanted to skip right to the end game and not have the experience.
Is it just my experience of is there a problem with people wanting to "auto pilot" these games and make them so free form that nothing can go "wrong" and you don't need to react to anything unexpected? Where is the tension in a battle if you can do anything? What's epic about curb stomping monsters every time?
Is it wrong I don't want to play a RPG with everything spelled out beforehand? With my character full formed by events not inn the game? I want to start as a level 1 fighter and develop them as I go, I want the hero's journey not just a single isolated stop on it. I want the very first adventure that shapes who this character is, not the 3rd or the 10th, I don't want to play the seasoned adventurer if I have to make it the adventures he's had before the game starts.

TV Show Theories
Posted 6 years agoI like interesting interpretations of and theories on TV shows and God knows the internet does too. Though a lot of the time it seems the motivation is to "ruin" something rather that explore it. Most of the ruin theories do tends to fall into standard reused scenarios we she over and over, that like with a good psycho reading have just vague enough "evidence" that not could easily apply to almost any show.animated shows are easy as usualy the only "evidence" presented is "it's a cartoon and fantasticly so it must really be a metaphor!"
So what are the ones so common as to easily dismissed?
1. The Setting is the Post Apoclypse. Easy to use as very often shows explicitly actually use the setting to explain fantasy and sci-fi Elements. So it's easy to take a fantasy of sci-fi series where the elements are just accepted parts of he world and add "post Apoclypse" to explain without much effort. When it's on purpose it can be clever, when tacked on it's lazy.
2. Protagonist is In a Coma/Halucinateing? Show is fantastic or non sensical? Show us no continuity? How can you easily explain this? Well the protagonist is in a mental state where things don't make sense. Also used to justify seasonal rot or a show going off the rails. Before the show went downhill or got wacky it was the real world, after protagonist is in a Coma or had a mental breakdown.
3. The protagonist is dead! Want an easy way to make show depressing or spooky? Just add death! Our protagonist doesn't know it but they are dead! Everyone else is a metaphor, demon or angel.
4. Socialy Awkward/Weird Adult is a child molester. Used to 1 of two reasons, it can easily add a creep factor or shows the commonly accepted social stigma that "odd" people are threats.
I prefer theories that add to a shows world as these one are mostly there to deconstuct, simplfy or just damage the show's reputation.

Finfic tropes I hate.
Posted 6 years agoOnce soon a time I frequented Fanfiction.net and currently a visit My Little Pony Friendship Fanfiction. In both cases I've come across fanfic tropes I hate. So In figured I'm mention some, somewhere, so why not here?
1. Cross overs with too many franchises. Crossing over two different franchises is a fun idea and leads to great interactions. Crossing over 3 franchises? 5 franchises? More than 10? Now thats just asking for a bad story. I'm not talking about shared universes either, I mean franchises with their own district realities and rule sets. Everything clashes with everything else, the many characters can't get time needed to make a contribution.
2. Adding characters from other franchises with no reason or explination. Bad because well your shoehorning a character from a unrelated work in for no good reason.
3 "Displaced" stories, because well they are all the same. Self Insert/Author Avataur goes to a convention dressed as superhero of anime character then magicly pulled into an unrelated world where they gain the appearance and powers of that character. Also because the writers usually present these as cross overs but no it's the author putting themself in the story but "cooler" meaning it's just a standard power trip self Insert fic with cosplay wrapping.
4 Characters used as costumes. The writer is bad at descriptions, rather than improve they make it a fanfic. The appearances of known characters are "worn" like costumes by the author's OCs. Different names, different personalities, it's not fanfic it's lazy writing.
5. Dialogue only stories.. It's the characters talking, and talking. They don't do things, it's just characters standing around talking in a non-descript location. No one does anything they just talk about it. Dullllll!
6 Script Style stories. It's a TV script, shows the name of the speaker in brackets or before a colon before they speak. Only actions describled.
There are of course more terrible tropes, but.these 6 annoy me enough I wanted to vent.

Gotta be honest about some commission practices.
Posted 7 years agoSomething I've seen a lot of is pretty expensive YCH "Template" commissions, seems kind of shady to me. The artist offers a YCH but the pose, outfit, proportions, everything but species is already done. So they are basically finishing a 50% completed work And they are going to reuse the 50% finished version over again? And the expected "average price" as shown by the auto buy is 60 dollars? It's the template part that bothers me more than the price, that so much of the work is decided, like they just stopped in the middle of something else. I mean it's customization of what is essentially existing art.
Current Ramble: Spyro the Dragon
Posted 8 years agoBrowsing the internet as I do I've come across many videos of people remembering gaming icons from their childhoods. One that pops up from time to time is Spyro the dragon. I somehow your initiated Spyro is a little purple dragon who stared in a trilogy of PS1 platformers that did well and are fondly remembered. Some crappy ps2 Sequels and so so portalable games followed, then Activision used him to help launch the novel idea of "Toys to Life" genera of games with Skylanders, placing him among a cast of dozens of heroes. Most seem to say this is were Spyro "faded away". But from my observations that might in fact be reverseing slightly, while I don't think the violent reptile will ever get a solo game again there just may be a push to make him the face of the Skylanders franchise
The latest edition in the series, Imaginators (which is good game), seems to be tied to the Netflix Skylanders Academy series in that both feature a "new" Core cast, Spyro being a predominate member some might say leader of the team. I think the character deserves this spot, getting crappy games during the 4th console generation and made "just another" member of the huge Skylanders cast his joining the "main cast" of the Game's TV series spin off is the least he diserves.
I would recommend the TV series too, it's got good voice work ( a cast including Norm Mcdonald and Bobcat Goltwait) , is relatively funny and hopefully will avoid the pitfall of trying to make too many characters "main cast" members

Terrible Work Stoires
Posted 8 years agoAfter seeing many many videos on you tube about this subject, I got to thinking of my own. I only have a very few as I only works for a short time before health issues basically disqualified me from most jobs, not technically but effectively, but they really aren't so different from what everyone else has experienced, seems terrible work place experiences in the service industry are universal. With them bouncing round in my head I figured I'd share my small amount of them.
Mcdonalds only worked there a week so I just have One from here.
The "Haze the New Guy" joke which I found unfunny was the "ice mix" gag. Where you tell and new employee they need to get the "ice mix" to gauge their gullibility. The problem I had just how forced the punchline was when the trick was played on me. Asking the employee for the "ice mix" is funny IF they immediately fall for it. Now having 6 other employees spend 10 minutes telling you over and over and over "no it's not BS it's real" and forcing you to "go get it makes it a lot less funny. Is i really a trick if you force it?
Fuddruckers, this is a burger place FYI but not fast food.
The Slacker Shift. Ok so out store was pretty dead after about 1:00 and business didn't pick up till like 6:00. The restaurants claim to fame is we ground burgers in store. Somehow the afternoon shift couldn't find time to prepare the supplies for the night shift, they found plenty of time and run around chucking ice cubes at one another. Not that it really surprised as the shift was staffed by "Forever High School" types, you know the kind, the ones who always tell you to "grow up" even though they think sweating is edge and horse around trill they are 50.
Sob Storyteller. God I hated her, she was this tiny little single mom who NEVER SHUT UP abound how her problems where soooo much worse than anyone else's. yes it sucks your a single mother, it's nice your family helps you. But do you need to spend 10 minutes at every table recounting your tragedy to customers and suggesting they "help" you by tipping more? Though mostly she ticked me off because she stole from the till and took other people's tips.
Cheater Salads. We were near a retirement home and elderly people often came in to eat, but they didn't pay for food. No Fuddruckers has a topping bad with all kinds of veggies. So the old folks would bring salad dressing packets with them and using out trays as plates empty out the topping bar to make a salad,
Ok this one wasn't me but we had taco salads and regular salads. At one point we introduced a jumbo regular salad, put in these weird giant clam shell shaped bowls. One day a family comes in and the elderly father orders a taco salad, but ALSO wants a jumbo. Counter person tells him we only have regular size taco salads, but he wants a BIG one, so she says ok we can charge you for two and I'll break up the taco shell in it fore you. But he wants the taco shell to be the same size as the jumbo bowl and one continuous piece. the jumbo bowl is 3 times the width of the taco shell BEFORE we fried it, so they fryer is well normal sized for a fryer. She explains to him that it's impossible for us to make a taco shell that big, tortillas don't come that big, the fryer isn't big enough and we can't put a plastic bowl in the fryer. being the reasonable man he is her grabs a handful of silverware and chucks it as the cashier screaming at her for not making his impossible request.
Lastly one the scared me. Because we had some arcade machines and shakes people thought we were freaking Chuck E Cheese. NO you can't reserve 12 tables during our busiest hours! No We don't have a private party room. No we don't have birthday cakes. Now one family decided to have their mentally challenged son's birthday at Fuddruckers. So no only do they move 7 tables(which I would have to put back),complain we don't have cake and prize games but they can barely restrain this guy. I've nothing against the mentally challenged, but you have to keep and eye on them, it's a sad fact. Anyhow they of course wreck the tables and need room the the cake they brought and stuff, so I begin a busboy start clearing stuff away for them. The birthday boy sees me doing this and lunges at me, ready to attack me for "stealing". The people couldn't have warned me BEFORE I starting make space for THEM?
So yea those are my few stories, and sadly they AREN'T unique tales, or "back in the day" stuff. Nope hazing, slacker employees, sob story/thieves, psychotic customers and people who don't keep sufficient watch on handicapped family members are ALL still things that people deal with.
TV/Movie Theories I am sick of/hate
Posted 8 years agoPokemon (some cheating it includes the video games too)
1. "Cubone is a baby Kangaskan" I hate this one because no one seems to forget that it isn't, it ALMOST was. The idea was scrapped.
2. Butterfree should evolve from Venonat and Vemonoth should evole from Metapod. Annoys me because well Butterfree is based on a real butterfly and looks like it's real life counterpart just toonifyed.
Cartoons (General)
1. Character X is dead the whole show is character X's dream. Basically because it's become the go to lazy cartoon therory, it doesn't fit every cartoon on the planet.
Disney
Tarzan is the brother of Elsa and Anna from frozen. Made worse by the director of frozen buying into the nonsense him self. Edgar Rice Burrows created John "Tarzan" Clayton. Tarzan is a lost English lord, the Viscount of Greystoke, from the 20th Century not a lost Scandinavian Prince from the 18th. In the movies Tarzan's parents look noting like the King and Queen of Arendel, and Africa is no where near where the King and Queen where headed.
The only way this theory works is is the King and Queen could shape shift, time travel and the Tarzan source material is thrown out completely.

Looking for help. Places to Roleplay
Posted 8 years agoBack when I was a teen I frequented MUCKs, I found one I really liked focused on Transformation role play. Recently I've been missing that, but while my MUCK is still there it never has more than 12 people on and half are just idling. I need some place to role play, does anyone watching me have a suggestion where I can turn now?
Something that confuses me.
Posted 8 years agoOften online I see people writing articles and posting videos how the Rich and Politically powerful secretly control the world. But I'm confused, what's so "secret" about it? Its pretty much just how things clearly are, the rich and social elitie openly exert their control, they aren't trying to hide it. The Illuminati and MIB don't exist, they don't need to.
Do you suffer from Anatidaephobia?

Warning Political Issue Thought (just one)
Posted 8 years agoYou've been warned.
Ok big stink right now of "Transbathroom Rights" or "which toilet is appropriate". Only one thing confuses me, we hear about the unreasonable fear that transpeople are going to attack "normal" people. But has no one stopped to think of the much more likely scenario of Transpeople being the ones that get attacked!? IN my home state the issue is bathrooms in High schools and high schools are freaking jungles. I personally changed Gym classes in High School just to avoid the locker room due to what I still believe to be real concerns gang rape or being forced out into the halls naked. I was the victim and the bullies literary drove someone out of town with harassment after graduation because I moved away, and they had never even shown any aggression toward the person before! I've no doubt that would have happily attacked and somdomized me in the showers, and gotten away with it. I shutter to think how horrifying the experience of a Female to Male trans person would be with those monsters! And High School girls are no better, a couple means girls would relish humiliateing a male to female transpoerson.
SO Yes the "go to the bathroom of the sex you identify as" is bad idea in my mind, But for the safety or transgender people not regular folks!

Network sceduel rant.
Posted 8 years agoRecently Netflix added seasons 2 and 3 of the latest Transformers series. I'm a big fan of Transformers and was disappointed to find that between the 2 additional seasons there where only 19 more episodes, season 3 being a paltry 6, insane for network TV. Network schedules are crazy, Cartoon Network carried Transformers and only showed it once a week on Saturday at 7am. Conversely they show Teen Titans Go 159 times a week. Teen Titans Go is a reboot of the late 90/early 2000's Teen Titans show. But as an immature comedy that directly insults old fans. They did one episode that actually said "if your adult you CAN'T like cartoons" and the writers admit they think kids shows should be stupid. But it gets ratings, the fact it's 15 minutes long cheaply animated and shown 318 times a week and they advertise it all day being why. Now Cartoon Network is the worste offender, but most cable networks do the same. They spam certain shows nearly all day long. Nickelodeon spams Spongebob, several networks sapm Law & Order, heck the free broadcast station Ion spams a diffrent network drama every day all day. Seems like no show can't be shown in less than 2 hour blocks. I find it extermly annoying and it only helps accelerate the death of cable, why sit though dozens of episodes everyday of the same shows when you can stream? In my life I seen the death of certain kinds of TV, after school cartoons and Saturday morning are dead and buried I have a feeling I will see the death throws of Network TV.
Rant: Goku vs Superman, I just don't get it.
Posted 8 years agoOne of my favorite channels on Youtube is Screwattack, one of my favorite shows Death Battle. If you don't know Death Battle pits 2 fictional characters against each other in a battle to the death. though research the most likely winner is determined based on what they canonically have been shown to do, and how that might translate to the real world. One of the most controversial Death Battles was Goku from Dragon Ball vs Superman. Why controversial? Dragonball fan boys won't shut the hell up about why it's "wrong" and posting "debunking videos" "proving" "Goku is strongest there is". It got to a point Screw Attack did a update video, pitting the strongest versions of the characters against each other. Yes both times superman won, because to be frank his powers are more ridiculously over the top than Goku's and the fanboys seem to be missing that. There seems to be this thing among them that "I can only like a character is he's the strongest character there is." and I just don't get it. The biggest complaint about Superman is he's too strong, why oh why are fanboys so insistent that "no the character I like is stronger that the guy's who too strong!" Writing good for superman is supremely hard because of his power, why would you wish that handicap on your favorite character?
The Problem with Tablet/Phone games
Posted 8 years agoThe problem, waayyyyyy too many are "a;ways online" experiences, sure your device has to download all the resources to run the game like graphics and what not but unless you have a online connection it won't freaking work. I can under stand for content updates and heck ever inapp purchases (as much as we all loath them) needing the internet connection. But really is it so HARD to make and offline mode too? What if your on a place, or a long car trip? what if the power goes out? Whats more offline mode means when the support servers shut down your game can still be played. It doesn't cost anything really, why does companies not want you to be able to enjoy the game when they stop supporting it? This is why when give the choice I pick physical media over virtual. I like the fact my cartage and disk based game will work years from now, and even if my virtual games will only last the lifetime of my device is it really so much to ask that they do? No offline mode sucks.
No for something completely different. Netflicks shows!
Posted 8 years agoI am really looking forward to the next season of BoJack Horseman to drop on netflicks. It's one of the best shows I've seen, and yes it starts a bit slow but it becomes more though provoking and deep than any "adult" animation I've seen, even the touted thougtful via offense South Park.
I also really enjoyed the 2nd season of Voltron Legendary Defender. A fgreat show in the "western anime" Genera that only contained Avatar The Land Air Bender and Legend of Kora. It takes something I remember from my childhood and revamps it, making it fantastic and a show that will hold up. Also it show just how shitty Nickelodeon;s Voltron Force was as a reboot. The less said about "Voltron the 3rd Dimension" the better...
I also saw the first season of A series of Unfortunate Events. As much as I love Jim Carrey I'm sorry Count Olaf was made for Neil Patrick Harris he makes Olaf so enjoyable awful! Ppatrick Warburton's deadpan delivery as Lemony Snicket is also great, and have never read the books the show totally troll me wit ha subplot, I won't revile. I really recomend the show.
Now I haven't see everything on Netflicks, so any suggestions?
