As I've been becoming more active in the community again I was allowed to discover many new, beatiful arts and artists alike! Which reminded me of a thingy I once did on Instagram forever ago - I called it "Get noticed!" as there were many artist support chaines going on at the time and I wanted to hop on the bandwagon.
So I thought, why not do it again? It's simple and easy to participate in: Just leave a comment if you'd like me to have a look at your account and/or want me to leave a comment with some feedback on your art! Or if you know an artist that you'd like to recommend, feel free to mention them too ^-^

I'm trying YouTube/Video editing! 📹
Posted 5 months agoThe title basically says it all XD So I've been giving video editing a try lately and uploaded two "Shorts" to my ever so dusty YouTube-Channel! I'm hoping to improve my skills (and gather more new/recent footage) and upload new filmed stuff every now and then >3<

PWYW - Christmas special time! 🎄💙

Anyways, heyo everyone! With black friday and subsequently christmas upon us, it is once again time for a special christmas event ^-^ With crisis seemingly around every corner most people, myself included, have been clutching on to whatever funds they have. Despite these difficult circumstances christmas remains the season of giving and hence my favourite holiday.
So I'm excited to announce that I'll bring back my christmas PWYW special once more! For the third time now, I've chosen it as a way of giving something back to all you awesome people that keep supporting and motivating me to continue drawing 💙 I know I've not been around much, but behind the scenes I've been doodling and wanting to poke my head out since a good while ;^; Self doubt and anxiety often times still get the better of me unfortunately... But enough sad talk!
So what is the PWYW christmas special?
PWYW is an insert for "Pay what you want". Wether it's a drawing for yourself of your own character or a surprise gift for a loved one or a friend for christmas, everything's possible: You tell me the budget you have and we make something work! You're free to tell me your wishes wether it be a prompt, a single or multiple characters/OCs anything goes ^-^
The number of slots for now remains unlimited, how many I'll be able to do entirely depends on the budgets and amounts of requests. So they'll be first come, first serve!
If you're interested in a PWYW-slot please send me either a note, or a message on Discord/Telegram/Instagram. I'll get back to everyone as soon as possible and make a small update once my schedule is full. Feel free to share this journal/offer with everyone you think might still be looking for a way to send some christmas loving in the form of a drawing to someone 💙 (gosh that rhimed and sounded corny, I'm so sorry XD)
After recieving the payment (via PayPal preferably) I'll start working! You will recieve one wip in the sketch stage where you can request changes, after that I won't be able to make any changes. Please understand that due to the nature of the special I can't keep tweaking everything numerous times or send a wip after every stage ;-; Every drawing will be finished before the 26th december, so it still would be in time for christmas!
All of the drawings will be done traditionally unless differently requested and can be shipped which costs 2 Euro within germany and 5 Euro outside of it. However, knowing how unreliable shipping something private is especially during christmas time, I'll send the packages during january so nothing gets lost in the chaos. 💌 If you have questions feel free to ask and thank you for reading!

Just wanted to say that I'll leave commissions open the forseeable future from now on ^-^ I'm happy and more confident in my skills again after practicing for a couple weeks and have a structure planned out in order to not get overwhelmed again in the future. As commissions are my main source of funding my art and the supplies I need (refills, markers, liners, paper, aswell as a new desk lamp appearently, my old one started flickering recently and it's a pain to work with it ;-; ) I'll keep the prices as they are with the occasional discounts and raffles/events in hopes of staying affordable for people who'd like some traditional art from me of their characters.
Little teaser: I'm thinking about bringing PWYW back for christmas 👀 those of you who have been following me a while might remember the past PWYW I've done in the past!

Posted a year agoSo uhm, hey there! Remember me? In case you actually do, hey, nice seeing you still around aswell!
Anyway, moving along - gosh, I'm not really sure what to say, except that it truly has been a while since I last showed my face around here, hasn't it? Been about two and a half years if I'm not mistaken. Lots of things happened of which I'll spare you the details, but I pretty much stopped drawing unfortunately. There was little to no time for it at the end of the day or I was just too exhausted from work to truly sit down and create something. But I miss it, drawing that is, and interacting with people that share the interest for it. So after giving it some thought and shuffling things around I want to get back into creating things (well dragon drawings especially to be precise), my old passion. Maybe even back into doing commissions, art trades and requests sometime soon if everything goes according to plan. But first I gotta get back into the swing of things. So random drawings, dragons and maybe a fanart or two to start of, see how that goes. In the meantime I actually have some older drawings that I'll try and upload, if I remember how to do it that is X)

Moving on 💙
Posted 4 years agoLooking back at my recent, rather sad journals I wanted to oppose them with something brighter, more positive.
I've accepted the way things are now, what has changed and what I lost as a consequence. I'll be working on focusing more on the good aspects of life and my personal progress and make the most of what I have right now. For a long time I thought I was alone, but my friends have shown me that that's not the case - if I just reach out and accept the help that is offered to me instead of trying to handle everyting on my own, like I've been doing up until this point. Which sometimes worked rather well surprisingly, but is not a long term solution.
No doubt, there will still be times when I'll fall back into my old schematics, but I know now what I can try to do if that happens. I'm still not out of the thick of it, that will take weeks, if not months from this point on. But I'm positive that I'll be in a better place eventually, someday.
Well, that is really all I have to say for now... Thank you all for being here and reading this little update. Remember: You're amazing 💙
I've accepted the way things are now, what has changed and what I lost as a consequence. Posted 4 years agoHeyoo you! Just wanted to poke my head out to wish everyone a great christmas and some chill vacation days 🎄🎁 (in hopes you all have/had some ;3;)
I also wanted to thank all of you for still being here and supporting me, eventhough my page has been... pretty much dead for a majourity this year... it's been around four or five months since I last picked up a pencil and sat down to actually draw. It feels like I lost touch with something I love doing for no apparent reason like... you're not broken hand, so why aren't you doing the thing?!
Putting that aside, I am working on being more active next year - which is only a week away at this point, but I want to try and reconnect with things aswell as people that I've not nearly spent enough time with due to things outside my control.
So I guess here's to a a better year and better times to come! Let's hope for the best - Yours: Luna 💙

Posted 4 years agoI‘ll be honest, I‘m not entirely sure on how to even start writing this. I just know that I want to and that I have to share what has been going on with me and my life lately, because I can‘t keep everything bottled up much longer. So to preface this I‘m gonna just straight up apologize in case this gets confusing, messy or something else along those lines.
I have been constantly living in fear this entire year. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I lost my dear Krümel, my companion of 12 years, whos loss I still haven‘t fully gotten over. I‘ve lost my physical and mental health, which I thought I had just reaquired. I lost a relationship that was and still is very dear to my heart. And now, after thinking this year couldn‘t possibly find a way to kick me even more while I‘m already down, I‘m losing my family aswell. Our home, my parents, my little brother – everyone is breaking apart and all I can do is stand and watch and keep the collateral as small as possible.
And that is slowly killing me. I‘ve become so embarrassed with myself, only having bad news and not being able to keep it together at night when I‘m alone – I hate myself for not being as strong as I'd like to be. So once again I resorted to my old methods and hid away. Cut contact to almost any- and everyone in an attempt to fix all that myself, to not disappoint anyone even further. How can I help my friends when I can‘t even help myself..?
I‘ve been stuck in this mental-downward-spiral for almost a year now. I don‘t know how to get out of it, I don‘t know how to fix it, with the exception of the most radical methods, that then again wouldn‘t be of much help for anyone. All I think I‘m sure of is that I have to break my silence. I have to admit to myself that I can‘t keep doing and handling everything on my own. And this I suppose is my first attempt to do so…
I‘m sorry for the lengthy rant, vent, or whatever this qualifies for and occupying your time if you‘ve read this far. I just have one question: Can you forgive me…?

Small update - Good and bad news

I'll cut right to the chase: I've got some good and bad news. Good news first: I've successfully leveled up and had a great birthday (eventhough I had to work) at the beginning of the week thanks to my awesome friends and family ^-^Help, I'm getting old way too quickly...
I've also been using the past days to work my way through anything financial, car, insurance, work, flat, bills, and life related to clear my to do list and regain some breathing room. However, this caused me to not answer messages for a while again, which brings us to the bad news.
I've fallen behind on messages on all platforms aswell as my posting schedule. I'll get back to everyone soon, especially those that knew about my birthday and gratulated me (Thank you all so so much 😭😭), I'm once again sorry for not staying in touch enough...
Besides the whole message-dilemma, my drawing tablet is also malfuncioning yet again. I know this may not seem like a big problem, since my main focus is on traditional art, however, I precolour every scenery commission I do digitally before I touch my markers at all, to make sure the colour sheme I have in mind works for the commissioner too. I'm working on either getting it fixed or getting a new one as an replacement because at this point I'm fed up with the constant issues wacom is having, especially regarding customer serviceof which there essentially is non unless you know someone.
If you have any drawing screen/tablet experience, feel free to leave a suggestion for good alternatives! I'm desperate X')

An apology, some updates and a big thank you
Posted 4 years agoHeyo everyone, I hope you‘re doing well and are staying safe <3 I know I‘m super super late, but I hope you all had a great start into 2021 and that the global situation didn‘t dominate your new year resolutions or 1st of january that badly 💙
First and foremost I owe you all an apology, which I want to get out of the way before I say anything else. I‘m sorry for not uploading, I apologise for not staying in touch well and taking sometimes weeks to respond to messages on Discord and Telegram. Everything has been chaotic to say the least. I won‘t go into detail, but to give you a brief impression, let me name just a few things that happened within the past three months:
A few days before christmas my dog of eleven years, Krümel, passed away. It wasn‘t in his sleep, nor particulary peaceful either. His death crushed me, to say the least. Just writing about it now makes it hard not to start crying again. He was with me during my most horrible moments and was the most loyal, friendly and amazing dog I ever knew. I miss him each and every day, especially when I‘m over at my parents house.
I‘ve been in and out of doctos offices due to a number of medical issues that occured all within a short span of time. (No Corona or anything, I‘ve been tested three times so far and all were negative. Maybe that experience has yet to come.) None of them life-threatening or anything, but I‘ve been diagnosed with something that could be, if not properly checked regulary and taken care of.
To add a cherry ontop of all that, I also was in a car crash just a few days ago. I was on my way to an appointment for work, when I stopped at a traffic light. The driver behind me wasn‘t paying attention to the road and rear ended me. Me and my car are both fine, at least on the surface, but my Touran will need repairs. The issue is, my tank – as I like to call him due to his size and type – is just about 13 years old. He‘s driving just fine and working well, just dislikes freezing temperatures and short trips. But because of his age, he isn‘t worth much part-wise. So my insurance may not cover all of the repairs costs, which is bad and something I have yet to figure out how to handle best.
These are some of the more majour things that kept me occupied. So I've been staying in an isolated state in an attempt to not affect those important to me with the issues life keeps throwing at me. As a result I have turned very quiet. Please, please, please, do not take my silence personally, because it isn‘t intentional or aimed at anyone at all. 2020 was by far the year where I was most active online and eventhough it was often very stressful to handle, I loved it very much. The support was amazing and the new friendships I found are some of the best I ever had. So I want to thank all of you that contacted me out of their own will during the past weeks, it helped so much to stay sane and focused, you have no idea <3
Putting all that aside, eventhough so many things happened, I was able to continue drawing. I finished all the christmas specials and am back with working on my regular commission queque. The reason I didn‘t upload any of it is simple yet dumb, I just didn‘t have the strength nor time for it. Right now, I can‘t handle two jobs at the same time, as much as I hate to admit it, one being my journalist job and the second one being my online upload- and commission-schedule. I‘m most certian that I‘ll get back to uploading regulary and responding more often to private messages, but that time won‘t come right away, I can‘t force things to go my way, as much as I‘d like them too.
For now, I want to thank you all for still being here and for your patience with me 💙I‘m tired of waiting for better times and for the pandemic/corona to „go away“ because it just never will. The time to act is now, because we all only have this one life and we‘re the ones in control of it.
Please take this journal as a sign that things will get better, as an apology and as a thank you for being the way you are. Have an amazing day/night <3

I don't have to tell any of you how hard this year has been for everyone and most likely still will be as long as this global issue continues. Routines are out of the window, numerous places closed down, some people have even lost their jobs and stable income because of it. But christmas time is the season of giving and spreading happyness all around aswell as my favourite holiday for that exact reason.
Which makes me beyond excited to announce that I'll repeat my christmas special that I hosted last year for the very first time! The PWYW (pay what you want) calendar is open once again 💙 This is my way of giving something back to all you awesome people that keep supporting and motivating me to continue drawing and improving my skills beyond points I never thought I would be able to achieve. Thank you all for that, I'm so happy to be a part of this community and platform, it's an honour to be here and has been a joy to meet so many welcoming and kind people ^-^
But what is the PWYW calendar? Wether it's a drawing for yourself of your own character or a surprise gift for a loved one or a friend for christmas, everything's possible: You tell me the budget you have which can range from as little as 1 Euro to everything up to 80 Euro for one slot and I'll give my best to make the most with the time and ressources given ✏ For now I will limit the number of available slots to six, but depending on the budgets I get I can open more slots at any given time!
After claiming a slot you tell me the characters and the prompt, which can be anything from romantic under a mistletoe (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34854557/) to snowball fight (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34315202/) or cute pose (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34272686/). After recieving the payment which I can accept through either paypal or smaller budgets through Kofi I'll start working! You will recieve one wip in the sketch stage where you can request changes, after that I won't be able to make any changes. Please understand that due to the nature of the special I can't keep tweaking everything numerous times or send a wip after every stage ;-; Every drawing will be finished before the 26th december, so it still would be in time for christmas.
Depending on how big the interest in this years special is, I'll put all my regular commissions on hold and continue with them after the 5th january as a quick heads up!

I hope you're all doing well and staying safe ;3;/ 💙 Things over here are still hectic, sometimes troubling and a bit weird due to the current ongoing crisis, but I suppose the best one can do is to stay on track as good as possible, keep their head up and look forward to times when things will go somewhat back to normal.
On a more positive sidenote, I almost worked my way through all the ongoing commissions I currently have! That means, I can very soon continue/get started on free stuff such as prices and similar, that I still owe. A big thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding, especially to those, that I still owe art that has been pushed back due to recent events ;3; 💙
I'm not entirely sure about my next steps, I've been thinking about offering two new commission types, one being a "YCH" and the other a music-inspired commission-option, where I'd draw inspired by the music/tracks the commissioner wants me to listen to, but have not decided on either of them yet.
Commission-wise I'm not sure when I'll open again, due to a small waiting-list that built up after I closed my commissions around two months ago. I stopped adding new slots to that though, to avoid a further build-up. I will try to work my way through it over the course of this may, so I might be able to open my regular commissions again in june, however can not promise anything, due to the fast pace my regular work is currently shifting at... ><
Thank you all so much for your support throughout these times, it's crazy to think that I've only been really active for a few months by now, but already was allowed to get to know so many amazing peeps over the course of that time... sending virtual-social-distancing-approved hugs to all of you 💙

Time's passing quicker than I thought...
Posted 5 years agoWelp, I guess I have once again successfully aged today. Darn it I'm getting old... where's my cane...
Anyhow, due to the ongoing virus and some other... factors, my last weeks have been rather stressful to be honest with you. I found myself overthinking alot, growing further and further unsure about myself, my art, my job, people close to me and so on. I try to not let these things get the best of me and am so far still doing quite okay and alright. I try to follow the motto, as we'd say over here: Augen zu und durch. Keep it together.
I'm aware that I'm by far not the only one that is currently experiencing difficult times throughout this pandemic and that I'm still one of the lucky people, taking into account that I'm not part of the group of people that are at risk. So everyone, for the sake of those and yourselves, please stay safe, stay inside and wash your hands, I'm positive that we can get through this together.
To try to make today at least a little better, a little bit different from all these other days most of us had to spend in quarantine, I've decided that I'll sketch a few fanart surprises. I can't promise that I'll be able to draw for everyone, but I'll try my best, seeing how many are upset that due to their cut wage or missing jobs they can't commission anything right now. So if you're alright with recieving fanart or know someone close/important to you, that is currently having a very hard time, just let me know or drop me a link to your character(s).

Reaching over 100 watchers here on FA is a very important and huge milestone for me and I'm so happy you all decided to hop on in and joined me on this journey, thank you 💙
On my last journal you guys made some really great suggestions about what I could do in terms of a celebration, but I think I finally settled on two of them:
The first one (as the title says) is gonna be a raffle!
This is my way to give a chance to anyone that watches me here on FA to win an A4 traditionally coloured fullbody of their character of choice!
The only requirement for you to join in on this raffle is to be a watcher X3 The winner (whom will be chosen with a random number generator) will get the artwork scanned aswell as shipped to them for free!
Simply leave a comment on this journal that ends with the sentence (I'm in!) and you'll be assigned a number ^-^ also feel free to share this journal, so more peeps could possibly join in if they wanted to ;3;
The raffle will be open for around three weeks, until the 20th March.
The second part of the celebration !MIGHT! be a group pick. Since I sadly currently lack the time to visualize it (since knowing me, I'm gonna try to fit absolutly everyone in) this will be pushed to a later time, once I got all my owed art done.
With that being said: I gotta get myself something to drink - possibly coffee - and try to crank out some doodles, please have a lovely evening everyone, stay awesome and have a lovely weekend 💙

Just today I noticed that almost 100 peeps decided to give me a watch here on Furaffinity ;3; I know that I joined back in 2018, but just 6 to 7 months ago I decided to try to post here more regulary. The support and the people I got to know throughout that time are nothing but amazing <3 Thank you for that >////<
To be honest, I would have never imagined to be so comfortable with uploading my art on here, but you guys and the community have been beyond nice and welcoming, it became a lovely place to stay, chat and share artwork ;v;
Alot happened these last two years. 2018 may have just been one of the most difficult years in my life so far (which is not exactly a long timespan yet X'D) an 2019 wasn't really any different. Nnoooo worries, I'm neither gonna go into detail and bore you with that, nor am I gonna go all melancholic, but I can assure you, that as of right now, I'm feeling alright- slightly stressed - but am happy and in a good place in life.
I still work my full-time-job and that will stay that way (if everything works out and I get the contract 030) for the next one and a half year. On one side that means I won't have all day to draw and will mostly be able do so on the evenings after my work and workout and on the weekends. On the other side that means, that I can possibly do lots of trades, raffles and so on, since I'm not dependent on the income of my art. I'll keep my prices as afforable as possible and am looking forward to work on new commissions/collabs/and free art. I know that there may be simply too many amazing looking dragons out there to draw them all, but I might aswell give it a try UwU~
With that being said: Since I'm almost at 100 watches, what would you guys like me to do if I happen to actually reach 100? As in terms of a small celebration, a contest, a raffle, adopts ect X3 I'd love to give something back to the community on here, so you guys happen to know the best what you'd like from me for that!

I‘m not even sure where to start…. So much happened during the last few days. I‘ve gotten some huge and very important information about the upcoming steps of my career (if you want to call it like that X‘D) which is kind of life-changing for me and has a huge impact on how my future may look. I just hope everything works out as planned…
I‘ve also warmed up to the thought of finally going to a convention, thanks to a few friends ~ If any of you know a convention that is great for newbies, please let me know! ;3; I still have no clue about how conventions actually work and am hoping to tag along some peeps I know when I‘ll go for the first time. ><
Oh and yes! I‘m finally opening my commissions again! After finishing the christmas special and shipping everything last week, I finally have some air to breathe again art-wise. I still have some personal projects to work on, but since I want to save up for maybe going to a convention (possibly this year..?) I‘ve decided to try to earn some additional money ;3;
I‘ve updated my price list (just slightly, nothing majour) and will open 3 commission slots for now!
My currently still ongoing commissions are:

To be precise: It's a PWYW (pay what you want) Christmas calendar! That means, that in this case you can claim one of 24 calendar slots (I have a small book with 24 blank pages that will be the calendar in this case) for as little as a dollar for example!
The more you decide to pay for the slot, the more finished and detailed your drawing will be. You can also claim a slot for a friend to surprise them with a drawing of their character for christmas 💌

Another quick announcement/questions:
I've been able to post daily for a little while now, which was possible because of my inavtivity on here prior. From now on I might not be able to post that often anymore, since I want to only upload finished drawings in my gallery ;-;
HOWEVER I can post wips/sketches and so on in my scraps folder, but I'm not sure if people want me to... so my question to you is:
Should I also post wips and sketches in my scraps folder (maybe on a daily base) or better not?
Also since I do work and earn money on a monthly base I don't soley rely on art as of right now. That might change in the future, but until then I want to keep my commissions as cheap and affordable as possible, so I adjusted the prices a little. I will also sometimes accept art trades aswell as requests. My question to you:
Are my commission prices affordable and realistic or should I change them and if so, how?
And lastly: As some of you might have noticed I recently drew fanart for some awesome peeps such as Glacius_Draconian and Czero~. Since I want to keep drawing fanart from time to time as small surprises and gifts, please let me know if you're okay with recieving fanart of your OC's and characters!

I've been able to post daily for a little while now, which was possible because of my inavtivity on here prior. From now on I might not be able to post that often anymore, since I want to only upload finished drawings in my gallery ;-;
HOWEVER I can post wips/sketches and so on in my scraps folder, but I'm not sure if people want me to... so my question to you is:
Should I also post wips and sketches in my scraps folder (maybe on a daily base) or better not?
Also since I do work and earn money on a monthly base I don't soley rely on art as of right now. That might change in the future, but until then I want to keep my commissions as cheap and affordable as possible, so I adjusted the prices a little. I will also sometimes accept art trades aswell as requests. My question to you:
Are my commission prices affordable and realistic or should I change them and if so, how?
And lastly: As some of you might have noticed I recently drew fanart for some awesome peeps such as Glacius_Draconian and Czero~. Since I want to keep drawing fanart from time to time as small surprises and gifts, please let me know if you're okay with recieving fanart of your OC's and characters!
