it's what my fursona is. an alien.
i'm not sure what to call them, though. a starborn? star-eyed alien? either way, here's what i have so far:

Star-eyed Aliens are aliens found around the solar system on each planet. They do not reproduce with each other, and along with that, they are genderless**. They are born from nearby nebulas, the newborns traveling at high speeds to their new planets (the random shooting stars you see when there’s no meteor shower taking place.) Depending on what planet they land on will affect how they grow up and adapt to their new home.

The basic anatomy for all sub-species: They are all digitigrade, their hips are large, and they have larger forearms. Their muzzles are short, their ears are large, their tails are long, and their faces are generally round. Height, fur length, and more will depend on where they are from

Generally, the aliens are pretty content. However, when threatened, they produce poison in their mouths, dripping out of their mouths as thick saliva. If bitten, there is very little chance of survival.

** Feel free to use any gender pronouns on your alien if you make one!

in the document i'm calling them star-eyed aliens for now
and basically each planet will have it's own subspecies. each subspecies having different aspects to them, such as the plutonians having thick fur for the cold, the jovian being the largest since it's from jupiter, etc etc.

i might... MIGHt... make this a semi-open species. MIGHT. i do know that i am designing some for free for CLOSE FRIENDS only.

Fursuit badges - these cost a base of $5 and will go no higher than $20* (*this does not include any shipping costs). you have to be comfortable with you giving me your address. these will be fully laminated with a hole punched through for the lanyard, unless requested not to. the badges are head and bust only.

i will also be starting adoptables!!! if i start an auction, the starting price will be $5, and the minimum you can go up is in increments of $3. the 'buy now' price would be anywhere between $10-$30, but if the bidding gets higher than $25, the buy now price would be $5 more than the last bidder. if there is no auction, the buy now price will be between $10-$30.

this past weekend wasn't that good for me. i dont know if any of you know, but i have pretty bad anxiety and depression (among with other things i may have. gotta see a doctor, though). basically i came to the realisation that no one really likes my art, save for maybe a few (this is all people on tumblr, by the way).

i have had people tell me "oh you're art is so amazing!!!" and "you need to be noticed more!!!!".

on tumblr, your posts can be liked and reblogged. for artists, reblogging is the best you can do for them, while likes are also pretty nice. the people that praise me don't do either. i understand if people don't wanna reblog it, some people have very, very strict themes to their blogs (then again one of my friends reblogs people's selfies a lot but whatever). i'm sure they see it, too. i know i normally post my art there when it's late, but i often times end up reblogging it 3-5 times the next day. and sometimes, right after reblogging one of my arts, i reblog something right after. and it has happened where someone would like the thing i reblog, then ignore my art.

it just..... hurts. a fucking lot. especially after hearing praise for my art, something that i love to do, and then those same people who gave me praise ignoring it. it makes me think that they lied. and it fucking hurts, in many ways.

i know i’m a good artist, and i know my style isn’t everyone’s favourite. i dont want people to fucking lie to me for me to be happy, i want the truth. if you don’t like my art style, or my art in general, fine! just don’t lie to me and praise me for art that YOU don’t like

so basically i've been pretty hurt about that for a while, since saturday. and on a somewhat lighter note, my aunt decides to tell me, after mentioning my depression, that i need to just "become happy!!1!!!!!!!1". i'm sorry, auntie, but depression is not an emotion. it's not easy for someone literally diagnosed with this to just be happy.

honestly that just topped it all off for me. i'm still going to draw, but damn i am really irritated with people.
