COMMISSIONS CLOSED
Posted 9 years agoJust wanted to write a quick journal to have on my page to let everyone know that commissions are CLOSED! I'm in the middle of moving and do not have anytime to work on hardly any of my current commissions as is, so I really can't take any more on until I get EVERYTHING cleared out. This goes for digital and traditional art, as well as fursuit commissions.
The only way to get art from me as of right now would be by pledging to my Patreon, but even that is running a tad behind (but I really am trying to get caught up on it, it's my first priority as of right now!)
As soon as I get through my current queue, I'll open back up for commissions possibly. Thank you all for your understanding during this crazy, stressful move. I might be a little quiet for a while, while I set up the new place and start working on all of this art. It's been exhausting but I've been slowly chipping away at it all.
My depression has been really bad recently too, and I have absolutely no time to just relax right now. But as soon as I start working on art again I think it'll help a little bit.

A lot of my time and energy is currently going into my Patreon. I've been doing monthly exclusive stickers, handmade and sent out, which takes a lot of time to design, draw, and get done. Open Letter on Depression
Right now, I have been stuck in one of the worst bouts of depression I have ever suffered.
I was diagnosed with clinical depression ages ago, and it comes and goes, but recently, it's been bad.
Most days I can't bring myself to get out of bed or eat or much of anything.
It's been really hard and exhausting being stuck like this. Some days I don't wanna be here.
But I know it'll get better someday.
Making art is hard, making fursuits is even harder.
I hate to use this as an excuse, but it's been going on 10 weeks this extreme and it's serious.
I've been desperately trying to find help, but my health insurance recently cut me off and I'm stuck.
So if replies are slow, or if you feel your commission is taking awhile, please understand my current situation.
I really wish that I could magically be cured, but it doesn't work that way.
I am honestly trying to get work done, because my mind is plagued with this big to do list.
I have so many commissions, all of which I am excited for, but it's a long list, and I'm overwhelmed.
I'm working as hard as I possibly can, please know this.

Posted 10 years agoRecently, I quit my job to focus on just making fursuits and art full time. It's a risky decision, but I've been doing good thus far and making enough to cover all my bills and more. However, the biggest chunk of my work that I've been doing is catch up work. I realize my turnaround times are super awful rn, and I definitely have a lot to do. BUT! I'm almost done clearing thru everything! One of the biggest things is shipping out everyone's food badges. It's just such a hefty amount to ship all at once, especially since I shipped a huge batch at one point and they all came back to me. I simply didn't charge enough for shipping everything, and should have kept it as a digital only thing. But, that's my own mistake. I will be hopefully shipping them all this month!
I am not taking on anything until I finish up ALL the owed art I have. Which I'm hoping I will be able to do by 2016~
As far as goals and new things to expect in 2016:
Faster Turnaround Times
I'm going to push myself to have month maximum on art turnaround, unless it's a huge project.
As far as suits, I'm going to push for as fast as I can, but I can't put a date on something like that... yet.
New Prices
I feel, especially in the past couple months, that the quality of my art and fursuits has skyrocketed.
And I already feel that I am undercharging, and I need to support myself and pay bills with this now!
So expect new prices in the coming year.
Weekly Updates
I will check all of my social media AT LEAST weekly to respond to everything and also leave updates.

Second, UPDATES!
Things have been all over the place as far as my personal life, and how that'd been affecting work.
On August 18th, I took a really bad fall at my retail job and had to be rushed to ER.
I twisted my knee. They let me go with crutches.
Over time, I got an MRI and we discovered it was much worse than a simple twist.
To list it all off:
I displaced my knee cap, which tore part of the thing holding my kneecap in place.
This resulted in a big bruise on my knee cap (the actual bone!)
I also chipped a piece of cartilidge off of the bottom of my femur, and have a 2 centimeter fracture in my femur.
So, basically, a month later, I'm still in crutches, which is why I have a wheelchair for con.
But, since then, my work has been borderline and absolutely breaking the law regarding my injury.
This may end up in court if they keep pulling it. They've treated me like shit, and either way,
I will be quitting by Oct 30, so I can focus on art and fursuits.
It's a risky move, but I simply cannot mentally handle the stress and anxiety that comes with working there.
They are terrible people, and I've seen an entire staff change since I started working there,
because everyone agrees that upper management do not know how to run a business.
Also, a little over a week ago, I was assaulted in the parking lot while I was heading home.
Usually I hobble down to the train and take it home, a couple of blocks of walking.
But that night I didn't even make it past the parking lot.
I'm not going to go into detail, because it's still keeping me up at night, but!
The security guy from my work noticed and was able to get me to safety and chase the man off.
Sadly we couldn't catch him to get him arrested, and I didn't even see his face,
but the bottom line is that I'm safe.
So, with all of this, it comes back here.
I'm sorry for so many delays. I've been working so hard to get everything all caught up,
and my goal for October is to finally clear my queue, get everything reshipped out,
and just be able to start up in November with a blank slate.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone's kindness and patience.
You all are so wonderful, and really encourage me to keep going.

I just want to let everyone know what's currently going on, and what I plan to do.
Currently, I'm working on suit commissions on my days off from my job at Fabric Depot.
Next week, I'm hoping to finally finish all art commissions.
To those who bought lil cheebs ages ago, I apologize. I lost inspiration for those.
I will be finishing them, sending them out, and I will be drawing everyone a free digital cheeb of their char
in an updated style, so please keep your eyes out for those.
To those who are still waiting on food badges:
I originally shipped all 30 something badges out right before moving,
but they were all sent back to me.
But since moving, I haven't had the spare moment to ship again.
