Posted 11 years agoI just ordered mine, and am really excited to get it next week.
I've heard really great things about it, so I figured I should upgrade from the program I got with my tablet...
I've had that program for freaking 7 or so years, and it's only an essentials product.
I've never had any other art program (save for free trials, and free software- which never it super great).
I'm so excited to have something new for once!
Oh, and for Amazon Prime users, it's on sale for $18.99.

A digi bodysuit for

This time around, it was very quick.
The first digi suit I did took a while, because I had zero idea on how to do it.
This time- an afternoon.
WHAT THE HECKIE.
Also, got the guts to machine sew my first zipper (the rest have been handsewn).
Why didn't I did it SOONER?
I was so quick and easy, and has been the best zipper I've ever done.
You can't even see it at all!
What the heck man.
Karoo fullsuit is inching closer to completion.
Just kidding, not inching.
It's going by so quickly!
Summertime is wonderful for making suits, I swear.
It feels less like a job, and more like fun again.
Probably because I don't have as much outside stress on me.
RAINFURREST!
booked our room today.
Sadly, we couldn't make it to the main hotel,
but we got a room in the Holiday Inn (a four minute walk away!)
I think that will be nice, honestly.
Next time I'll have a room in the convention hotel.
I seriously cannot wait to meet some of you there!
I know it's still a few months away... but I am too excited!

Regarding opening for new quotes...
Posted 11 years agoSo, at this point, even though I've been advertising to open next month,
I do not know if it is possible for me to open for new fursuit quotes this summer.
And if it doesn't happen this summer, I have NO idea when I will be able to,
since I am heading for university this fall.
The reason being is that I still have suits that I need to finish already,
my cousin is now living in my workroom (which was the only spare room),
and my mom is really reluctant on letting me work on suits AT ALL in her house
(just because she hates the mess- she loves furries!)
If anyone has any advice on how to go about this, please let me know!
I feel deeply saddened by all of this, and I've been sitting on it for a few weeks,
wondering if I should tell anyone at all.
But, I haven't had a rest from suit making for an entire YEAR.
I've literally always have had a suit in progress since I opened for the first time in June of last year.
That's a lot of fuzz.

I'll break it up into labeled sections for those who do not wish to read the whole thing!
Commission Statuses
As always, you can see roughly how your commission is doing on my queue.
I wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to try my very best to FINISH ALL ART COMMISSIONS
this coming week, as in Mon-Fri. This will be hard work, especially since I have family coming over almost every day.
Regardless, I will do this!
I will start with orders that need to be finished for cons and such.
Then I will move onto oldest to newest!
I will start TOMORROW.
School Trip Report
Thanks to everyone, I was able to make it to Ashland, OR for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival!
Our club saw three shows, in three different theatres!
We first saw 'Comedy of Errors', which was Shakespeare's first comedy!
It was set in the Harlem Renaissance, in Harlem Town.
It was really fun and quick paced, I enjoyed the heck out of it!
Then we saw Steven Sondheim's 'Into The Woods' in the outdoor Elizabethan Theatre.
I had never seen the musical prior, and I REALLY enjoyed it.
The music was wonderful, and the costumes were FABULOUS.
Finally, we saw a stage adaptation of the Marx Brothers' 'Cocoanuts'!
If you know the Marx Brothers, you would know their movies are side-splittingly funny.
This play was no exception. The acting was on point, and about a third of the show was entirely improv!
Their improv skills were godly, and I cried three different times from laughing so damn hard.
I'm so happy that I'm seeing it again this summer with my family.
Downtime in Ashland was awesome too.
Got to see some of my favorite shops again, and got a few trinkets.
I mainly hung out with my two best friends, Carson and Bri, but also spent a lot of time with a friend who had already graduated, Cash.
We all had lots of fun, and I cannot thank you all enough for making that happen for me.
Sadly, I spent around every cent on that trip @.@
Birthday Report
THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!
It was so kind of all of you to remember and write wonderful things on my page.
I even got a drawing for a present!
My actual birthday was spent with Bri (and Carson through texting).
We fursuited on omegle for a little while (she's not a furry, but she's leaning towards it now!)
Then we got glammed up and went to the mall. We goofed around and she got me a tank top of my fave band,
as well as a few MLP things!
We also went to PetSmart to see all the cute rats! <3
The day after, I got my tattoo, which I will be posting photos of soon.
It hurt like a bitch, but was so worth the three hours of pain.
And it was awesome having it done by my dad.
My friend also came over later and brought me a few gifts.
Didn't get a chance to buy that laminator, but will soon enough!
Graduation Report
As some of you may know, I graduated high school this year!
Wednesday was my last day, and it was oh so bittersweet.
Yesterday was my graduation ceremony, and that was a lot of fun.
I will also be posting pictures of that soon too.
I was surrounded by many friends and family, and it made it all the more special.
I gave a speech, and a lot of people came up to tell me it was their favorite speech!
I still can hardly believe that I have finished that chapter of my life.
I cannot wait to see what life has in store for me next!
I especially cannot wait to move to Portland, and go to school!
And to hang out with my good friend

Die Antwoord Concert
So, I saw one of my favorite groups a few weeks ago as an early birthday present from a friend.
It was REALLY awesome to see them for real, and hear them for real, and wow.
Yo-Landi spit on me twice, and Ninja did once.
DJ Hi-Tech was there, and that in itself was cool.
However, it was prolly one of the scariest concerts ever, omg.
I thought I was going to be crushed and killed!!
Other Things
Still working on fursuits, but that will slow down just a little, since my workroom is being taken over.
My cousin will be moving in, and it will take a few to adjust to working within her hours.
I got a skateboard for graduation from Rob of AZPX, and it's super rad!
It's been a long ass time since I've ridden one, but oh well!
I am so excited that Gerard Way released his newest single!

June is going to be a little crazy for me,
so I want to focus on graduating, family,
and catching up on past commissions.
I have two fullsuits to make, and that's already stressing me out.
But, hopefully, since I won't be in school,
they'll go by a lot faster so I can open one or two more slots before I move.

Posted 11 years agoWell, if you didn't already see my submission,
here's the news:
Me and my boyfriend are no longer together.
Well, that's not really true.
My boyfriend (I guess I can't call him that anymore) and I have decided to no longer have a romantic relationship.
We are still going to be best friends,
because we both know that we were meant to be together in some way.
I wish this hadn't happened, but oh well.
Maybe someday we can fix what went wrong,
but even if that doesn't happen,
he and I will still be the best of friends.
This happened yesterday, Monday, exactly a week after our two year anniversary.
Which kinda makes the whole thing that much more of a bummer, but, again, oh well.
So, I'm still really upset, and I may be spotty on communication.
This is all I'm going to say on this subject.
I do not want pity, I do not want any questions,
and I am not available for ANYONE.
I do not plan to date again for a VERY long time.
I do not need that going into college and figuring out my life.
I will be happy and strong.No For Real Tho.

Posted 11 years agoI sincerly and genuinely apologize to everyone right now.
If only I can ask for forgiveness.
I'm sorry for all of you who are waiting for commissions,
all of you waiting for badges, YCHs, fursuits, etc.
I know I'm slow, and sometimes hard to work with,
but I appreciate your understanding.
I feel so bad when I don't have an update,
or anything to show you guys. I really do.
I wish school was over already so I can focus on catching up.
I feel like I've told everyone this already,
but I'll have it here just to make sure everyone knows:
I've had a lot on my plate lately.
Too much, really.
Even though the play is over (which was from February until a few weeks ago),
I still have a million other things to do.
I'm almost graduating, so a lot of ordering, paperwork and speeches are underway.
Not only that, but I'm catching up on schoolwork.
If I don't, no graduation.
Which would be a damn shame, since I've gotten all As in school.
Also, I'm in the GSA, and we've been doing a lot these past few weeks.
Pink Prom planning (a LGBTQIA+ safe, inclusive prom),
and the TeachOUT program worked with us to bring Ivan Coyote,
a famous author and speaker, to our school.
That happened today, and was marvelous.
Feel free to ask about it!
And on top of all of actual work,
I've been dealing with a lot of emotional stress.
I need to go to the doctors for official testing to see if I'm bipolar,
on top of social anxiety and clinical depression
(which has been severe to the point that I am scared).
I really need to get some help, but don't have time.
So, please understand if I do not reply for a few days.
I might be busy, or trying to catch up on sleep, which is scarce.
Thank you everyone for being so understanding of me.
I think of you all all the time.
And I worry that you may be upset because of my slowness.
Just know that no matter what, things will get done eventually!
