Are eggs people?

I've been holding out hope that weasyl could be the best of both dA and FA. However the traffic for the site is struggling at best and eventually I just kind of decided to leave things in the dust. I left a short journal (I made an assumption that username-changing is hard to find) and planned to just leave and maybe come back in a few years.

I came back a few days later to find that someone (an admin no less) commented on my journal, informing me that username changing WAS DOABLE by contacting the site's and requesting a name change. I'm just.........

I feel both stupid and kind of mean now.

(I'm looking to change usernames on a few sites now, mostly due to toxic reminders that for a while were really bad for my health. wikia and weasyl seem doable, but smackjeeves might take a while.)

due to FA's really sparse updates (which is something that annoys me), I deactivated my whispering-timerwood account and made a brand new account.

I'm seriously having one of those moments where I really wish/hope that the ability to change your username can become a thing. Whether if I have to pay and wait six months or something, please let this be an option. -glances at dA's ability to change usernames whilst still allowing you to be found via old username-

Right next to that would be the ability to connect accounts, so I won't have to have two browsers open to keep up with my primary account (this one) and my series account (which is where I keep series-related stuff to avoid cluttering).

More neutral would be folders for favorites, so I can keep all art for me, adoptables I bought and things that appeal to my aesthetics in folders so finding them won't be so hard.

journals are also non-existent in search browsers so what's the point? Need commissions to save your cat? Don't have enough watchers? Tough luck buddy. :c

adoptables/designs need to be uploaded constantly just to try and get any views to attract potential buyers.

So the new cover I uploaded seems to work for the ninja admins of smackjeeves as my comic now appears in search results again, so that problem is taken care of.

The City Group is a giant mess. It's the only group that consists of wolves, dogs and other canid species. They make the abandoned city their home and have a different way of living than the wild wolves of the mountain. Some view them as barbarians, some view them as savage anarchists. It depends on first impressions.

This group focuses on the safety and education of pups, assisting mothers (both first-time and experts) and taking in orphans, both outside and within the pack. Any pup under a year old is under the care of this group by default.

I put a lot more thought into this than I thought I would. o_o

a short break

due to overworking on a comic with no dialogue, I'll be taking a small break to play video games as well as figure out more of where I want to go with this thing. It's just a hobby so I don't have a perfect plan on where I'm going with this, but it's been helpful with getting just a little but more exposure.

If I make it to the city part in the hobby comic (Nameless) I'm doing, I might need to borrow designs as extras so we don't get a repeat of the first few pages with mysterious shadow wolves in the core mountain pack. I might go back and add actual designs when I get the chance.

1. Since this is a hobby, no money exchange will take place. I won't pay anyone and no one will pay me.
2. I will only accept feral semi-natural designs. Wolves, dogs, coyotes, and mixes (wolfdogs, coydogs and coywolves and such).
3. Designs can be designs you made on the spot (out of boredom or because of this comic) or even original characters, just note I might feel weird about using a character that's dead in its own canon or is a main character.
3. If you choose to make a design just for this opportunity, keep in mind that the design is yours. You can do whatever you want with it. It's just making a brief or possibly extended appearance in a hobby comic.
4. I will NOT use designs you didn't make. Unless it's a design you purchased/won/DTA, in which case alright.
5. I will NOT use copyrighted characters. Characters that appear in published media and such, so no Universal's Balto, alright? This might also stretch to copyrighted OC designs too, like in certain webcomics. (if one got suggested by the owner I might say EASTER EGG)
6. I forgot to mention, bases/templates are allowed just so long as you follow the rules of said base. If the base says 'do not use off of dA' or something, and you have a dA, st.ash it and send the link to me via Notes. If not, I'd recommend a different base.
7. head/hair flop is optional, it's a habit of mine.

I will say this much.
I barely survived spring quarter in college. Things started off rough with Beginning Design being difficult (new program and other new things), but I managed to pull through. Manages to get passable grades for the two classes I was in (I'm testing the waters in college, hence why I have very few classes).

I had a lot of fun in Creative Writing. I had the same teacher for that class that I did for Intro to Fiction, which was a class I didn't do very well in. I was traumatized by highschool experiences involving some hypocritical teachers, so finding out he was really chill with having me (I kind of failed ItF) in his CW class was so weird for me..

I also might've accidentally got roped into pursuing an AA degree after talking to an adviser (which I didn't know I had) about getting my classes back.

This quarter I'm taking a communication's class and possibly a basic math class.
(I suck at math, but according to an assessment test, I suck at reading more)

Also I'm doing a hobby wolf comic purely to work myself out of this art block I got stuck in so I can get back to work on my main series.
