My Situation
Posted 3 months agoSo as many of you know my finances havent exactly been in the best shape for afew years now. Its come to ahead now though as last month my glorious father put out an ultimatum. Either I 0 out my credit cards by December or hes selling the house and ill be left to my whims. We are both on the deed however but I cant afford a house on my own so I lose it either way. But hes forcing me to show him my credit cards in which his name isnt on a single one, threatening to sell if I dont show him when and where he demands to see and if he doesnt see progress on the debt. Him trying to control me is nothing new as its been a 20+ year thing and im going to tell him off...
But I still need money as odds are ill be homeless sooner then dec as this relationship will end and we will go our sep ways. I still need to pay off this debt regardless of the outcome of this and I am pretty screwed whatever happens. Ive been selling stuff to knock it down but it wont happen fast enough if our relationship ends after I tell him off. I would work more but as many of you know I have a bad shoulder due to an on job injury back in 2018. Ive now had 2 surgeries on it and after months of being nearly pain free (since jan) I started having issues again. Now I am having issues with the ac joint and at this point working more is out of the question, I cant hold up to full time hours (40hr/w) as is and the surgeon said in Jan I should look for a job that doesnt lift. If im not screwed one way im screwed another or by my dad.
The only thing that will resolve this is getting enough money to pay of my remaining card, there arent any other options that will work.
