How do I look????
Posted 4 years agoI rarely thought about my dragon appearance before. In my imagination I resemble Draco from Dragonheart. However some of the choices in his design don't appeal to me. Since I plan to commission art it would be nice to get more certainty.
In order to decide on a particular base colour as the first step I created a little game in Unreal Engine in which I coloured a 3d model from the web.

I was not sure whether I should be brown or in my favorite colour (purple), but brown like in the picture seems to be the right choice. One interesting feature which came to me through this model are the little horns on elbows and shoulders which structure kinda reminds me about crystals. I think I keep them at least for the shoulders and in a smaller shape. I played with the integration of purple features of any kind but they never mixed well with the base colour. Even purple eyes do not seem to fit. I also have to say that the head geometry from this particular 3D model does not appeal to me. To find one that does is now my next design quest.
As soon as I decide on the final design I plan to commission a char sheet.
