Posted 15 years agoQuite simply, Xian will be benched from now on. Seems too many people have -really- grown attached to him, and it's making it less fun and somewhat awkward now. Plus, I think it's about time I had a normal fursona ;D
SO, all art of Xian (Future and present) will be thrown into scraps. I may occasionally get more art of him, but it's unlikely.

Posted 15 years agoOkay, plainly put, I've just had a conversation which required me to really think about myself and all that. And now, it's sprung up a couple questions in my mind which I'd like to share with my watchers (And anyone else linked here) to hopefully provoke a response.
Question 1:
What does Art mean to you?
To me, art is a means of expression. Be it sexual art which may be commissioned because 'it sounds hot', or 'their character is hot and would look good doing X' or even 'I'm really upset, I need some art to express that'. Art is a way of showing a friend that you care about them enough to (most likely) PAY money to have your character and their character drawn together, doing whatever. It doesn't mean that you have a major crush on them (Or hell, let's use the word love), it doesn't mean that you want to fuck them. It doesn't mean you're hungry for a fuck. It's -art-. Expression.
Question 2:
What does your Character mean to you?
Xian has pretty much been across the spectrum with me. Ironically enough, he was made on my birthday (Oct 13th) last year, and as such, was designed with me in mind. His build, his facial features (sans muzzle ofc), hell even a bit of his personality was based on me. But over the year, events, feelings and things all happened. In all the years I've spent in this fandom, I've been too attached to my character; my fursona. It leads to a horrible conflict of emotions sometimes (Or at least, that's what I find). Ergo, I've begun holding Xian back at arms-reach. He -isn't- a valid representation of my IRL. Just because I get art of him sucking some random guy off, doesn't mean that I, myself, venture out in the middle of the night to give head to someone. Art of Xian is literally that, art of a purple and red alien thing. (Refer to Question 1 for my views on art.) Fantasy is fantasy, especially in this fandom.
Question 3:
Do you hate the fandom?
Simple one this one, I personally don't hate the fandom but hate the blurrylines inside of it. Where morality either exists completely but is always subject to change on the matter accordingly. It's confusing, and causes a lot of rage.
(TLDR on this one. If you really hate the fandom, leave it. Don't sit there crying about it.)
Question 4:
Are you Easy/a Slut?
Yes, I have been asked this one by an angry person. As such, I'd refer them back to the answers of Question 1 & 2.
Question 5:
But you Roleplay with me, therefore you must have some attraction for me!
Not really a question, but more of a reactive answer. Roleplays, while somewhat a little more personal than art (to the degree that no-one ever sees them.) is pretty much just art with words; at least to me. Unless I physically say to you, completely OOC, that I have feelings for you, then please dont' assume that I suddenly want to love you forever.

I now have started my University lectures, all of which run from 9-11AM Monday-Thursday. As such, I need to sleep a lot earlier than I have been x3.
So what does this mean to you? Well, it simply means that I might not be online as often as I have been, especially when it's late at night here. I plan to be going to bed for between 11PM-1AM (Depending how I feel).
So yea, that is all.

Enough moping.
Posted 15 years agoIt's time to focus on something and push forward. Time to distract myself from all these mind games that I've been playing with myself. Time to progress.
As of the 31st of this month, I will be joining the local gym. Under the careful eye of my fitness-freak friend, I will push all my negativity into something positive and really try and make something of this body of mine. I used to love my body, and over the years it's developed into a fat, horribly unfit slob of a form. Not anymore world. Not anymore!
Hopefully this'll be the thing that can keep my mind clear and focused.
I might even make a 'Progression Diary', with a weekly/bi-weekly picture update on how it's going. Who knows.
Anyway, enough of that!

Posted 15 years agoFirstly, a few of you may have noticed how depressed I have been as of late. After having many people concerned for me (Which did wonders for my confidence. <3) I guess it's time to explain what has happened; although I'll keep this short.
As you well know, me and Wyebird (
wyebird) have been a couple for just over a year now, and while our relationship has had it's amazing times, it is on this sad day that we have declared ourselves apart. While this new development may be saddening, me and Wye have decided to remain close to each other as each other's best friends/companions, and will continue to look out for each other and be there where others may not succeed. She is a wonderful person, and deserves as much respect as she did when she was my partner. I just thank her for being willing to keep our friendship alive.
So while we are not together romantically, we may now progress together as friends.
With that, I'll probably be spending the next few days adjusting to the new status. I'll be around on messengers when I can, just please, be tactful about the matter. I don't want any 'Let's jump in bed together' or 'Mind if I try and get with her's'.
Thank you for reading, and a massive thank you to all those who have given me strength and consul over the past few days.

Wye and I have had some problems with regards to our relationship, and as such are taking a break from it all to see what needs to be done. I doubt I'll be around that much anymore for a while. Most things just seem to depress me about the subject, and I doubt I'm in any secure state of mind to hold a decent conversation without moping and/or crying about it.
So, don't be shocked if I'm not online as much as I used to be, (yes, even with the good news of my money), I just need to sort my head out somewhat, and hopefully get back into a good place.

My student loan just got confirmed, for much much MUCH more than I was ever hoping to get. Practically doubling my expected income! <3
After months of blood, sweat and tears trying to get this loan approved, they've gone ahead and given me the all clear. This has -really- made my week, hell, my MONTH. I can live! :D
Expect me to be in a VERY happy mood for the next couple of days~ Only the worst can bring me down right now!
