Hey all,

So it looks like I'm going with  media for my nrxt suit, but he needs accurate refs for the exact shape I want my suit to be. Anyone know any artists with line art slots open that's good at doing accurate shaping/detail?

So I've currently got a ref sheet for a new fursona being worked on and I need to start looking at makers as hoping to have the suit for next EF if possible :3 As I don't pay all that much attention to furry stuff I know bugger all makers so am hoping people can help me out with some recommendations XD


Basically I'm after someone that can do serious looking toony style (so not cutesy but not realistic), can do padding and can also do non-fur bits like horns :3 They also need to be good at non-generic dog/fox/cat builds lol

I'm not that arsed about price but not particularly keen on makers where it takes a year to get on the waiting list, then a year+ to get the suit XD

So recommend away please everybody ^____^

So EF was fantastic, ended up helping out with the Guest of Honors panel and entering the dance competition, as well as helping with the martial arts demonstration, so was busy as fuck. Still, was brilliant seeing everyone again and getting to hang out.

I did meet a few new people including charm (who's great fun), but I suck at remembering names do please do give me a nudge if I met you :)

I'm currently sat in the etap hotel in essen nord about to head off on the last leg home on the Furball Run :(

Heading off on the Furball Run on Monday and only just managed to finish putting my costume together! It isn't exactly how I wanted it to turn out but it isn't tooooooo bad. Am quite happy with the headdress~

I won't put up pics until after EF but I'm dressing Matata up as Suun Wukong (Monkey) from Journey to the West :)

5-8 years ago I was hip, on-the-scene, knew who was who and what was what; I could have told ya every drug reference going and who to get it from.

Out walking the dog this evening and some kid stops me to sell me skunk. He sparks up half a joint and proceeds to tell me "it's well piff", asks if I can smell it and continues with "it's well piff 'innit"

A couple of years ago I would have known exactly what that meant and brought a quarter. Tonight all I could think was wtf is piff!? and if kick his face in for using 'innit' do I still leave him some change for the skunk?

I'm definitely not down with the kids anymore >.<

So I has a ticket to hell :3 but hey, it's where all the gays are gonna be so I'll be having a hell of a time XD

So on Sat 1st May I'm hitting my quarter century and I'm starting to slip into a quarter life-crisis as I haven't really achieved the life goals I had set myself =/

The plan was to have completed my masters degree, have gotten married and be well on my way into breaking into Emergencies Work with an international development or kids charity.

As of yet I haven't even saved up enough to pay for my masters, let alone finish it, I'm not married (I am engaged though so I guess that ones kinda close), and despite a year of volunteering I'm now not working in the charity sector at all.

Work is a bit of a conundrum at the moment. I've been working as a consultant for about 6 months; it's in children's services so it's still helping improve kids' lives which is the right outcome, but it's not as front-line as I wanted to be. I gotta stay in the job for at least a year to get the experience on my C.V but tbh I don't know if I still want to switch over to the charity sector. If I move in 6 months time I'll probably have to take quite a junior post and about half my pay, whereas I could stay on here with good promotion prospects and still fundraise in my sparetime.

My outlook on life and my personal view of myself has changed quite a lot over the last few years. Those few that know my history will know it ain't been good, but as I've been a lot happier in recent years I guess my goals have shifted without me noticing. I guess the problem now is I have to find a whole set of new ones!

So, at work I've been aiming towards a particular promotion for the last month or two (becoming a Contracts Officer), not a particularly fantastic job but it was a permanent contract rather than being a consultant which means I'd get holiday/sick pay and more security; it's also more money which helps XD

This morning I found out that my manager's manager wants me to become his executive P.A, it's also a permanent contract and more money, and less stress than the other job as it doesn't involve me being responsible for looking after millions of pounds worth of financial data! That being said, the guy who wants me as his P.A is a bit of a dargon and is on his 4th P.A since I got here 5months ago because they all quit/move on fairly quickly!

So I don't know whether to stick with the Contracts job which is dull financial analysis in Excel all day, but I generally get left alone to do whatever the hell I like, or, go for the potentially less stressful P.A job which may end up short-lived =/

Gah, I hate having to make decisions >.<

2 journals in one day, who woulda guessed :3

Anywho, so went to dinner which was beautiful. Gaucho Grill Sample - 1.2kg of melt in the mouth argentinian steak, in 4 different cuts, I only JUST managed to finish it XD

After dinner the bf actually got down on one knee and whipped out a little ring box. Despite me trying to bang him over the head with the marriage stick the last year or so I was actually caught off guard ^^ Was half expecting to open the box and find a gummi ring! Turns out to be a gorgeous platinum band and I said yes :3

Husky is finally getting hitched!

Don't usually bother with journals as I tend not to have much to write about, but sat at work with nothing to do so figured I'd give it a whizz ^^

Today is my 6th anniversary with my partner (who's a normal as it goes lol), and am just sat here waiting for him to knock off so we can go to dinner. We've got reservations at Gaucho Grill which does a 40oz steak, lurvely~ One of the best steaks in London ^^
