I'd like to start off and apologize for everyone for being such a depressing loser the past few years.

No one is to blame, well maybe someone... but we wont get into that.

Basically anxiety, depression and stress all decided to converge into one which is mostly why I withdrew from the fandom. Basically I just needed some 'me' time to kinda calm and rebuild / find myself (And not in the finding Jesus sort of way), something that is still going on, but I think it's getting better. (yay)


To those who were close, I miss you guys and am very sorry for just dropping off the face of the Earth more or less.
There was something that happened and I felt extremely embarrassed and self conscious about it and embarrassed at myself for letting it happen. I don't really deal with getting embarrassed like that well as you can see. ^^;;


But yeah....

That was a weird time and it's in the past, shit happened and it is time to move forward.

So I'm going to try and start again here.

Purged my account of nearly all personal art of my Fursonas.

I dont know what is going on with FA or the drama and I don't want to know, as the drama does not concern me and thus I have zero interest in it.

All I do know is that I am not active on here save for a handful of times a year.

Apologies for those who now have empty spots in their faves, and those who enjoyed my work, I left the comissioned work up, though i may take those down eventually as well.

I am not sure if this is goodbye or not, we shall see in time.

In any case, if you all wish to see more work from me, furry or not, I post most often on my tumblr page and my instagram, and there is also my deviant art account, though I do not post there very often. All of which shall be listed below.

Instragram has a mix of food, art, and whatever else i feel like snapping photos of, while Tumblr is strictly art, of varing subject matter depending what I'm feeling at the time. Um... people don't really ask me anything, but if i had to say something it would be if i were a midget. [+___+] That shit doesn't fly.

If I was a midget at my first FCN. Scared the shit out of the offender and am proud of that. Though I was asked at that same con if it was okay if I could be fucked because I was small, which I think, at that time I was too shocked to be offended and laughed it off. ^^;; It's a good memory.

16. What/who inspires you?
Music, Japanese occult and myths and legends. There are a lot of inspirations that i cannot begin to list.

17. Everyone has considered leaving FA once or twice. Have you? Why?
Yes, because i was burnt out on art, life and the fandom and how it seems very porn and sex obsessed around here, which I don't particularly fancy. =:/ But I'll just continue to stick around and lurk. *shrugs*

First off, I'm back from my trip to Colorado with my family. It was a wonderful trip, for I had forgotten how relaxing that state and the mountains are!

We stayed in Boulder, Colorado which is basically a hippie college town. Very green and focused on health and well being and all of that hippie stuff ("the Granola bubble surrounded by reality" I believe I heard it called.) It's pretty nice but still in the "flatlands" much like Denver.

I'd have much preferred to be more up in the mountains but hey, that's for next time right?

Anyway, while I was there, my aunts, grandmother and I took a ride in a Hot Air Balloon! And man I would so totally go again in a heart beat!! It was pricy but overall worth it for the view alone. We were up at 2500 feet!! And the ride is as smooth as silk with out a bump, even the landing was really smooth! Ah it was awesome and I highly recommend anyone and everyone do it, though maybe if you're scared of heights. (which i am but the basket is like 3ft high on all sides, so there is no way to fall out unless you climb up onto the side.)

The next day we took the cog train up to the summit of Pike's Peak which is 14,110 feet above sea level. The ride itself was awesome and There are many photos and video to show that, and the peak was really cool too! It was cold due to the elevation and a storm rolling in, like in the 30's so cold enough for it to snow. And man, I have to say being that high up on the mountains is awesome! We even saw Big Horned Sheep and Pika that live on the mountain. If anyone is in this area, I recommend this as well, though, the downside is you have about 30 min at the top and if you miss your train you're kinda screwed since tickets only work for the specific train that you're on. =:/

We also went to Red Rocks amphitheater and checked that out. The formations were absolutely stunning! Unfortunately there wasn't a show playing, but i have heard that the sound there is amazing!

Mmm that's about it really, it was a short trip but a good one. ^^

Soo hey there, how have ya'll been?

I've been well enough, up and down and it happens. Still unemployed and that jazz.

Also very busy this month around the house with gardening, deck cleaning, mulching flower beds, weeding said garden etc.

This past weekend was spent down at my grandfather's house with my dad and his sister and her husband, cleaning and reorganizing the place for when he comes back from his stay in the nursing home for his broken hip and that jazz. It was a big job but we got a lot done which is good, a lot of cleaning... A LOT. ugh. never want to see that much dust and cobwebs ever again. =____=;

Also, coming up in this next week, I'm heading to Colorado with my mum, her sister and my Nana to visit my other Aunt who's currently living out there. Fun times and I cannot wait~!! Hopefully the weather will be fantastic and not a pile of crap. >__<
I'll be gone for 5 or so days (the 4th through the 9th) and am planning on taking a lot of photos, which means I need to charge my camera's battery and take a couple spares and the charger just in case. ^__^

Soooooo yeah about that crazy weather last night/earlier today.

There was a few tornados in my area, but thankfully no one was killed or injured, and as for my family and home, there was one that was 5-10miles away so we weren't close to it for there to be any damage. It was pretty much just breezy and thundering here with a steady rain that was more on the light side.
So I'm thankful for that. Someone did have their house flattened, BUT the family there was okay and all accounted for.

So, just letting peeps know in case they were worried. (woohoo for crazy ass weather!)

Bought some new pens and a can of Workable Fixatif.

Bought three new microns: Sepia 01(0.25mm), Blueblack 05(0.45mm) and Navy Blue 05(0.45mm) I'm quite excited for the blue black, though I wish it were in a smaller size, like 01 or .005. Perhaps I can find them at dickblick or something.

Now, what I am really excited for are three new white marker pens for highlights and/or minor corrections where needed.

The first is Sakura's Pen-Touch white pen. It's quick drying, opaque, permanent ink with a 1.0mm fine point felt tip nib. Downside it's $4.49 a marker, but so far it seems worth it's price as it is like white ink from an ink pot in a marker/pen form.

The second and third are the two Recollections marker pens that I bought. Both are opaque white, in two sizes, broad and fine. I'm not sure if they're permanent or water proof so, we'll see how that goes.
The fine marker is about the same size as the Pen-touch described above and the broader is similar to the 01 size marker pen in Sakura's Pigma Sensei line. So far they Seem quite nice coverage wise, but as for being permanent and waterproof. I don't know. They're $1.99 each, so relatively cheap.

Yay pens! =:D Yay art supplies! I haven't bought you in about a year. @__@

Hello there again, just reminding those who care that I am not dead somewhere. (Yay!) And that I miss you guys a lot!! (I'm sorry for being a recluse and stuff, mainly I don't want to inconvenience you or just pop in, which would be kinda rude on my part.)

Anyway, I don't think I'll be making it down to FCN this year, or if I do, it will be for a day, though most likely it will be a no-go this year. Sorry guys!!! But if I find employment over the summer and just permanent employment in general, then I'm going to try shooting for MFF, that is if that happens, if not then it doesn't. *shrugs*

Um yeah... Oh yes art!
Okay I know that I've been a horrible person and have let owed art and commissions go unfulfilled for way too long! This is completely inexcusable and I sincerely apologize for it. Thus, Starting today, right after this post, I'm going to be working on those again. (I really have no excuse not to and then that weight gets lifted off my back. Win-Win situation eh?) So, I will be getting on that and then messaging those when they are finished and uploading them.

So unless something catastrophic happens such as my limbs all fall off or something, I will be working to get all of these out within the next few months.

And I am so incredibly sorry for the long wait, it is completely inexcusable on my part, but at least the wait will be worth it and you will have quality art instead of a pile of shit.

So, to those waiting for art, thank you so very much for being so incredibly patient with me and not pitching a fit. I am extremely grateful for that!! (it would have had a negative affect if you had. ^^;)

Hi all.

mainly this is to tell everyone that "Hey, I'm not dead or anything!" incase you were worried.

Nah, I'm just reclusive and horrible at contacting people and having conversations. ^^;


Basically a short update:

- I think I have gotten over the worst of my slump, though it's still there and I am quite prone to be lazy and not draw. (this can be seen on my Deviant art if anyone is interested, it's mainly fanarts for Avengers and marvel and stuff since it took over my life for the past... six months.)

- I'm not dead. (yay!)

- I may come back here, though I also may purge my account of old stuff and keep only commissioned work up and stuff. We'll see about that.

- Computer decided to be a twat and fucked itself up, thus it is being repaired so it's in the shop and should be back soon (I hope).

- Had a pretty good Christmas and New Year. Usually it's stressful and stuff which brings out social anxiety and is just overall not cool, but this year was better so that was good.


.... Mmmm that's pretty much it. I live a very boring and uneventful life. Woooo~

+ Surprised a bunch of people by coming to the con, since I had said I wasn't going.

+ Did NOT do artist alley or do commissions, which was a loss in the monetary department, but i need to really get my plate that is already rather full cleared before taking on more commissions. So smart idea.

+ Levin.... provider of the fewds... well dinner and i think lunch, Friday and Saturday. Thank you so very very very very much! <333333333333

+ Met an awesome artist named Kbooki in Artist's Alley and totally bonded over our love of Jrock and particularly the disbanded band Kagrra! BEST PART OF THE CON! I LOVE YOU GUUUURL! [Also an apology if i was kinda annoying due to sleep deprivation. ^^; ]

+ Met two awesome dudes named Pawnce and Leon. You guys are totally awesome!! and Pawnce, thank you for the G-Rated cuddles and the "Shh, don't worry about it." lol and sorry if I was or seemed to be a bit clingy... ^^;;; I hope you both made it home safe! ^__^

+ Partial suited as Mini-Poonya Sunday night. Rocked that shit like a 10.5 earthquake on the cute-o-meter. [So I was told several times]

+ My roomies were pretty cool. though I wanna say sorry for being rather coarse and direct at some points, also for leaving super early and just being kinda... weird, seriously I dunno what it was but I just could not sleep in the room. =___=;;;; But you guys were awesome Thank you. [except sparks for puking... not cool man. Not cool.]

+ Eprix, Poonya, Lancaster, NukaNuki, Markhael Hanging out with you guys was fucking awesome! Seriously you guys made my con. Also thank you for letting me crash in your room @___@ I'm eternally grateful for that.

Cons:

+ Insomnia. I was super tired but just could not fall asleep and thus ended up getting approximately 30 min to approx 2 hrs of sleep each night... it wasn't cool.

+ Sparks puking and someone making puking noises at like 6am =____=;;; One thing I really cannot tolerate is vomit since it will make me vomit, so i got the fuck out of dodge as quickly as i could.

+ I was kinda bored, mostly because I wasn't in Alley like I usually am, and thus had too much free time I think.

+ Didn't suit as much, dunno why, it just didn't happen which was a bummer.

But aside from all of that stuff I had fun and met cool people and hung with friends and just yeah, it was just what I needed.
