My account has gotten cluttered and I'm about to shove a lot of the more random stuff into scraps.

I don't believe in deleting art because someone, somewhere will have it faved and get annoyed when the piece is suddenly 404.

So I'd just prefer to move them. Aperio art will mainly be the bulk of the standard art while scraps will be almost everything else.

With that said I need more Aperio arts, so ideas are welcomed. :p

This is what happens when you're running on 4-5 hours a sleep a day for nearly a week. Weeee! 😖

Well, the cov pushed the TAR/ Shutdown again to July. For those who know me, that means as of the second week in July, I will not be available.

It is supposed to be a two week order *spits up coffee in laughter* I'm guessing at least three weeks, being that we are understaffed because people already had their vacations nailed down before the move and work is too cheap to 'buy out' the vacations.

Let's see how gray my hair ends up this time. Should be back to normal late July.

I am going to use a term in this journal that'll trigger a few people but until a more established term is found, I have little choice but to use it.

I've been wanting to have a particular surgery but is unsure who to talk to about it. I tried having discussions with a handful of transgender individuals but hasn't gone nowhere. Between by nervousness on the subject and borderline horrible communication skills, I find this subject particularly difficult to maneuver. There is a catch as well, everybody is going straight mtf or ftm, including hormones and therapy. The surgery I'm after is mtc (cboy) or I guess male-intersex? I know the dreaded c-word angers some but that is the most known term.

In particular toward the Austin area ( is a Texan peep), anybody know any places to go for questions? I would need a place friendly toward the unusual request and I may even be talked out of it if the risks are far too high or legality becomes an issue. I just know four years of self research hasn't gotten me anywhere. I do know the surgery is possible, I've heard of a Californian getting it but I'd rather keep it in my stomping grounds. Also, dumbass me lost his details and so too the doctor they used/is using.

I'm taking a step out of my comfort zone here, I'd rather not have people jabbing at me over this. As politely as I can say this, I'm looking for information and not critics. I'll leave that to the professionals, I may just seen too much cboy art and gotten myself a body image issue or something. 😅

Well shutdown was rescheduled multiple times due to a particular disease. Is practically over, with all [known] critical issues resolved except one, will will be tackled later. Lesson of said issue, never buy an exchanger with unremovable internals.

There are a handful of issues but that's expected. Any major plant will always have something broken! At least I can pretend to exist now.

Long story short, we run 24-7-365 so when we need to fix/modify stuff, we shut the whole block down. This is basically bosses' bosses, and bosses' bosses' bosses breathing down our necks while we shut down our units, quickly clean them, do all the repairs and then put everything back online.

I'll effectively be on 12 shifts nonstop till it's over.

This 'begins' week 17 (April 20th) and *ahem* should end week 21 (May 18th). IF things go well of course.

I will increasingly be difficult to get ahold of till then and will be a zombie afterwards.

FA's search sucks for crafts, they put a dedicated tile for it on the main page but there seems to be no means of actually searching through it.

I'll be off for 3-4 weeks due to work. For those who know me, I am in the chemical industry and occasionally we go into a TAR (shutdown) for essential repairs/ cleaning/ or modifications that require energy sources to be locked out. If the schedule holds, it looks like the third week of May will be when are normal again.

Unless someone feels like euthanizing a doggo early? :P

I used to weight 287 pounds (130.181 kg), to put that in perspective, I am at 5'8" (1.7272 m) and was very obese to say the least.

This morning I am down to 161.2 (73.11909 kg)

So it is true, you can lose the weight. You just have to commit to it. Only bad things I have noticed is the fact that I am now cold natured... with a certain butt-mutt husky teasing me about it and medically, I am slightly anemic.

Well, frankly, 2018 sucked.

I won't spent too much time dabbling into the details because I am not looking for sympathy or anything, just an update for those who care or are nosy.
-My parents got entangled in an investment scheme and only now have we found a way out. (Thank God)
-I was overlooked for a promotion since the Production Technologist at the time HATED my ass and I just now learned he was smearing my name for years behind closed doors. Whatever damages are being repaired...
-The farm struggled with a drought, then the army worms, then now the constant flooding.
-The company I am working for never sold the assets they wanted to so are now throwing the rule books out the window and pushing our 30/40 year old plants to the brink of an explosion.
-And I spent the last 4 months, going back and forth to the hospital while watching my dad decline with a mixture of sepsis, pneumonia and to eventually die from heart failure.

Well, either we weren't sold or we have and just been denied the update. Since July, the parent company has all but refused to spend anything on us. Budgets are chopped hard, benefits are at an all time low, and upper management seems fickle about budget concerns. They claim it is just a downturn (oil companies tend to have one of these every decade) but it seems like what a person does when they are about to sell something big. Clean it up, fix it just enough to be sellable, count the money and toss the keys away. He had to fight to have an *extremely important* tank inspected, which was already behind the due date. So not fun at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised is duct tape and bailing wire is used now.

Just need prayers at the moment. East Texas just seem to be dying. Long Star steel is doa again and now my company seems to be having a death rattle. Funny thing is? We are still making money! Jim Sterling has a perfect quote for my problem. "They are not happy with some of the money, they want all of the money." So we are just notaking enough? Oh well, we'll see what December has in for us. Be wondering if a pink slip is my Christmas gift.

I been looking for a *cheap* solution for weeks.
I have located an old IBM 5154 monitor but I have no way of testing it.
I know it will power on, that past with flying colors but whether or not it can still process an image, no clue.
I thought I could just convert VGA to DB9 but it seems to be more complicated than that. Different resolutions and refresh rates aside, the signal itself seems to be different by my research.

Anybody know of anyway to test this thing on a modern pc?

She and I used to be mild friends, mostly through her common-law husband that was a dear family friend for years. His legal wife died when I was a teenager, a couple of years later she arrived on the scene. For the most part we accepted her but always was leery of whatever stories she told us because we learned extremely quickly she was a pathological liar. A few years past and he finally succumbs to cancer, probably from his exposure to Agent Orange. This is when things fall apart, since she seem to have not even the single honest bone in her body.

When he died, she hid the fact for MONTHS. His own family didn't even know, state didn't know, we didn't know either. A family member of ours used to work at the local courthouse and made some phone calls once suspicions was raised; he was cremated and long gone.

I never got my chance to say goodbye.

That was a while ago, back to the present for the story. I am in the process of replacing two front windows and while half groggy from being on night shift for five weeks now, I hear her crackle from the other side of the fence. She first called me by 'sweety' as if we were even close to speaking terms; queue the part I want to vomit blood. >>
Then I ignore her, which works 99.99% of the time but she is persistent this go around. She clearly asked why I was banging on her house....

Banging on her house. Really? Has she gone insane? I was clearly 'banging' on my house. I just gave her the 'dafuq?' expression and entered my house before the temptation to start throwing rocks at her face overcame me.

I was on the other side of a fence with no gate, about 50 feet from the fence period, obvious to her and high heaven I was removing window trim but somehow I am hitting her house. Oh, you mean the tin dumpster you basically squat in and is 5-8 years late on taxes on? She presume I would even step in the yard with so much growth that I need a machete to even FIND the edge of the house? Not her house anyway, it belongs to the daughter of the family friend and yes, she is trying to drag the liar to court over it.

Excuse the rant.

Finally we are up. Just three more nights and all *should* be back to normal.
