Posted 8 years agoI love me some jokes, but this isn't one. I'm sure you've seen or heard plenty about it else where but this discussion, over net neutrality is important, no matter where you live.
If you live in the US your access to internet in general is at risk.
If you live out the the US, you're still not in the clear. If you use sites who are based from the US, those sites are at risk.
All in all, its a huge deal, that I would advise you help out if you can.

Posted 13 years agoYup, that time of year again! Christmas! Yippee... So some people don't seem to get why this time of year just gets me in a pretty... bad mood in general. Well here we go! The only two reasons I have (and need);
#1. Family. Yeah, yeah there are others that dislike their family too but just put up with it or, they don't like their family and show it to their family. I have a hard time with the first, and I'm too quiet and for whatever reason care about my family enough that I won't do the second. When you're closer to the age of your nephews than any of your siblings, it can really get discouraging because they all STILL look at me like I'm just a kid. I'm going to be 22. I'm not the know-nothing-say-anything little kid I was before so get off the high horse, no I don't have quite the experiences of things you have, but I have my own you don't. My opinions matter.
#2. Now this one, at my age some people wouldn't get. My birthday. Yes, I hate my birthday, I have for many years now. Don't ask me why, I just... it ticks me off and gets me depressed every year. Maybe its that its always overshadowed by something, whether it be some dumb football game going on, or we move our family christmas to be that day it seems to be a "oh hey its your birthday too" for an hour or so.
Thankfully though I usually have friends to keep me thinking of other things and in a bit of a better mood so I don't end up killing anyone. xD

Posted 14 years agoSo it seems I'm a year older today, that makes 21. Am I excited!? No not really, wasn't looking forward to drinking anyway so its not that big of a thing to me now. Its just another birthday, pretty much the same as every other year, maybe even a little less so. No party, no nothing just me off of work chillin around. How many other people just sat around bumming out on their 21st instead of going out drinking at bars with their friends? I'm curious to know. xD

Posted 14 years agoSo yeah, got home a little bit ago from Nebraskon. T'was great, got to see old friends and I'd say, meet some new ones. Was glad to meet the furs there that were from Nebraska, enough if it kinda sucks at how far the majority of its activity seems to be from me. Nonetheless I think its time for me to be back home for a bit and settle back down into things.
