General | Posted 4 years agoWhen did I get 155 Watchers?!? Whoa! Thanks you guys! I owe a lot of this to Donutella though. Through her partnership and our work together on our comic, I was able to let my writing talent and show a little and I'm glad it seems people liked it and the work we put into designing OUR character, Gierno. I hope I can keep you guys amused with more writing and colabs in the future and I hope my characters and stories entertain y'all. Thanks :)

General | Posted 5 years agoOkay so, Donut and I came to a standstill on the comic. We might finish it some time in the future but for now, it is indefinitely on pause and will not be finished any time soon. For any of those who were interested, here's the rest of the story in text form in a summarized version. She does amazing work and Gierno will still appear in future pieces but for now, there is no plan to finish the comic on her end or mine. Thanks for being invested in my writing and Donutella's art and we are grateful for all the positive reception our love drama story got.

The next scene would've been them having a conversation about Gierno's past and how he realized he was attracted to human females 'in this way'. He'd accidentally watch a lewd scene in a movie and found himself 'liking it more than he should' (to put it vaguely lol).
Next scene would've been Flash getting back, entering the room and Gierno would hide below the bed. Flash would notice a specific cinnamon-esque scent (since Gierno smells like cinnamon) and ask Jas about it, but she'd be nervous and not say anything. Then both her and Flash would get to have some sexy time as well, with Gierno pretty much witnessing everything from below the bed. Scene ends with both Jas and Flash sleeping and Gierno leaving through the window after he gave Jas a little goodnight kiss.
Following would be the next day, another camping trip, where the whole group would sit around a bonfire and Jas would ask Flash to come with her for a private talk.
She'd confess to him what happened the night before when he was gone, and that she thinks she has developed feelings for Gierno too and apologizes in tears, hugging him. Flash of course, would remain shocked for a while, but then would tell her that he appreciates her honesty. He'd also tell her that he noticed her growing fond of Gierno and that he realized it's nothing he could change. He wants her to be happy, which is why he was trying to get along with Gierno and asking him for help. Jas then tells him that she loves him and that nobody could ever replace him and if he can forgive her for making a secret out of it. He accepts since he still loves her deeply, even after what happened and the scene ends with them hugging peacefully.
This was the last key scene of the story pretty much.
After that, the group would part ways a few days later, since Flash and Jas would travel back home to kalos again. Gierno would be very sad and depressed about the parting and Ander, his trainer, would notice that he wasn't doing well. Since Ander cares a lot about his pokemons well being, he would then call and have a talk with Jas and ask her to take Gierno. Ander and Gierno would then part in a quite emotional way and a few days later, Gierno appears in front of Flash's and Jas' house happy and excited, 'self-inviting' himself by opening the door and putting his luggage inside and striking a pose. Flash would freak out over the sight of Gierno and ask Jas why he's here and wants to throw Gierno's luggage outside again lol Jas tells him that Gierno felt very depressed over the parting and that she would've felt bad to say 'no'. In general the last scene has more of a humorous light touch, rather than serious. So, the end of the story is Gierno moving in and them forming a triangle relationship.
The friendly banter rivalry between Flash and Gierno stays, but they know when it comes to it, they can count on each other, despite their massive personality differences and after all, both their goals are still the same: To protect the one they love the most.

General | Posted 5 years agoY'know it's funny...the lyrics for the song Mr. Hollywood really got me thinking. It made me realize how much I wanted to hold onto you far longer than I should have. Maybe it was my fault for being too in-love with you. A part of me really wanted to try my best to impress you but before too long, I finally woke up and realized that I don't have to live up to anyone's expectations and that constantly having to struggle with imperfection is not the way to live. So I'll work on myself and heed what the song said. "I just wanna lay right by your side. We don't gotta love each other right. We just gotta make it through the night. You don't have to say you're not into me anymore." As deep as those lyrics felt, I finally woke up. This mentality is toxic and I don't wanna live like that anymore. Do I think we can still be friends? Sure, but not now. I gotta work on me and you gotta work on you.
