Hey all~

First of all, thank you to the new watchers -- you're awesome! I hope I continue to create something interesting!

An Explanation~

I'm sure some of you noticed that I was rather quiet and inactive for a while! Maybe a post or two, but it didn't amount to much. Welp, I finally clawed my way out of this funk that had been holding me down~ I feel absolutely renewed and rejuvenated and just like my old self again...! I'm not sure what did it, but I'm stoked and pleased to be doing what I do once more!
I won't lie, for a long time there (it felt like forever) I was really just in an unhappy place. I felt like I wasn't me at all and I couldn't get out of it...

Huuuuuge shout-out to  Atma for helping to pick me up and dust me off every day and try your damnedest to fix me up when I needed it most...

Huuuuuge shout-out to all of my friends who helped me not feel like utter trash every day!

I was gone for the entire week of Thanksgiving and maybe got one thing done and it was almost completed anyway.

It was my intention to be able to keep working, but we were staying with Atma's family and since it was Thanksgiving, it was definitely family-time. I hardly had any time to get online at ALL. I apologize for that or else I would have made a journal regarding all that.



This week, I'll be catching up as quickly as I can since I'm entirely back-logged on everything and this last week set me back what seems like AGES at this rate. So, don't worry, you'll be seeing your artwork soon. If you've got any questions for me, go ahead and ask either via note or Skype. We've made it through the worst, it seems. Not feeling 100% yet and will get back to you once damage control is done.

YUP, it's another one of those journals!

However... I'd just like to give an announcement to my commissioners and followers that we're going to be effected by Hurricane Matthew. We might lose power for who knows how long. We've prepared about enough as we can for now, so no need to worry about that. This isn't Atma's first hurricane, though it is mine! We're stocked up with supplies for us as well as the dogs, so we're ready to do this!

If it comes to it, I'll just draw by candle light (Oooh so romantic) and have stuff to post for you after the storm passes! So, you've been head's upped! Take care everyone who's going to be effected as well as everyone else!

Disappeared for a few days there. Atma went out of town and had some annoying work stuff to do. He came back WAY LATER than he should have and I went to pick him up on Saturday afternoon. Was gone then to spend time with him. Basically I was gone all weekend to hang out with Atma to make up for the days we missed. Monday was also a day that was being made up. On top of THAT, we were preparing for hurricane Matthew and that whole possibility!


TL;DR Atma is home, missed him. Preparations for Hurricane Matthew (it's my first, shut up). Back to working on commissions.

So, I might hop on my Galaxy and get some sketch work done... might just do some sketchwork to make up for lost time.

So... Wow!

It's been a little while again. I promise this will all clear up soon~ We had ANOTHER schedule change coupled with a diet change (it's for the best, trust me!). I've also been taking care of Atma just a little bit more as of late. I've also been working on a lot of house things. It's been in shambles since before I moved in and I'm just now moving things around and putting things away. Heck, I'm finding stuff I hadn't seen since I moved here 2 years ago X'D
This whole thing has had me sooo draaaained, but I'm hoping that tomorrow will be better. This new schedule thing (again) sucks, but I prefer this schedule anyway!

Anyway, I'm coming back! I'm super-duper sorry about the extreme wait for some of you and don't worry, I'll be finishing up your commissions as well as opening up for some more, new, exciting ones!

Hey, guys, I'm slowly and surely opening up for a small batch of commissions at a time. Soon I'll officially open again for everyone. That being said, I've adjusted my prices, so you'll have to take a look at my "Commission Info" tab to look for prices. Now on to the nitty gritty..... We've got a problem! Summer came early where we live and it's been HOT, HOT, HOT as heck. It gets upwards of 90+ degrees in the house and that is NOT comfortable. Why don't we turn on the central air, you say? It decided it felt like dying. The compressor blew and the unit is too old to just be repaired. We need to get a whole new (fucking) system.......................................... Which is not cheap. We knew this and today had someone come by to take a look. He offered a couple of options...... With the best option for the house, for the price, being nearly $10k before a military discount. I think we sweated harder at the thought of the price..... So, for now, we have window units and I guess that's what we have to work with. Due to a recent credit fraud incident, we're getting declined all over the place. My credit blows and I'll always get declined, but with the price, my Skox can't do it alone.... So, we're kind of at a loss. This is on top of the other house-hold problems we're having which haven't gone away.

We are also still having the problem with the mortgage... Which was going better, but suddenly took a turn for the worse TODAY actually! Saturday is the day of terrible crap, I suppose. I'm not going to let it get me down, but I am sweating and just a bit anxious..... Just a bit. Ya know. :x

I guess I better get my ass moving and making some mons. I'm going to be opening for some brand spanking new commissions. It'll deal with SL, so we'll see how that goes. It might not work out, but I need to branch out and see what I can come up with. I've also been studying and practicing, so my full-colored commissions will be coming out even better than before. I'm going to be working as much as I can, so don't take it personally if I'm rather quiet.

If ANY of you read my previous journal, have me added on Skype, SL, or Steam, you've noticed that I've been gone for ~ a week. I was having some horrible computer memory issues that kept me from using my computer properly and it was a horrible nightmare!

Hey guys -- Long-ish journal ahead.

I've been going through some stuff personally and then also with my mate. He's got a couple serious issues he's going through and they've been a lot worse as of late.
Currently he's got a seriously bad back problem that's been making him work from home or miss work entirely. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. A couple days the other week I had to actually drive our roommate to work since they usually carpool. I take care of him on the daily whenever he needs it. However, with his back being out, I need to help him up and to walk around etc.

On top of helping him out, I've also got to take care of the house both inside and out. With his chronic condition (no, not his back) it's hard for him to do strenuous things. We have 3 dogs and they all need care of course -- one of those dogs is a husky and she sheds a BUNCH. One of them is having severe allergies so I need to constantly watch him like a hawk so he doesn't chew his butt into oblivion and get an infection. (Since no one else can be bothered to watch him.) Yes, we have 2 roommates, but I still take care of everything from dishes to vacuuming to the outside work. So, while I may be working from home on artwork (yes, that's my job), it's not glorious. I still have to keep myself going on my owed commissions as well as keeping up on maintaining the house. So, I do apologize on the length of time that some of the commissions are taking, but I am still working even if it's a little more slowly than I had been working.

I'm still very much in need of work especially right now as we do have a very serious bill that needs to be taken care of.... It's almost there, but I need to get as much work as possible.

Now what does this mean? I'm definitely going to be doing some other work on the side as EMERGENCY funds. This might include a YCH or some other form of selling artwork.

There have been some changes IRL and while I may not have told some of you, I've given others a head's up. I guess I'll just come out with enough of it to tell anyone who reads this that something unexpected has sprung up and I'm working more than ever (yes even on my weekend days that I get with my mate). I will say, don't expect every weekend to be this way and don't expect Christmas day to have me sitting here as I'll be spending the day with my love.


This also means that I'm opening up even more commissions.

THIS MEANS: Wing-Its!

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?: That means that I'm opening as many rapid-fire sketches as I can until I cut them off.

WHAT'S THE PRICE?!: $15 will get you TWO characters with SHADING! If you only want ONE character, it will be $10 with shading.

IMPORTANT DETAILS: I will tackle a handful of SKETCH commissions this time 'round. Anyone I've already talked is already taken care of as this is for new works only! This also means that once I've gotten your picture done, I'll do one minor change to it. These are meant to be rapid-fire commissions and I'll be trying my best to be cranking them out within a couple of days after you order.
