not dead yet and opening for sketch commissions!
General | Posted 2 years agoyep, im still kicking around haha. ive just been VERY lazy with uploading stuff. again. hopefully that will change soon and ill get back into the swing of things and uploading stuff. well, for at least all ive got anyway. im finally almost caught up with my art that i was behind on for so long! all this time tho ive been over on telegram and discord, chatting with peeps, making new friends, eating and stepping on new people etc. feel free to add me if you ever want to chat or anything on telegram and/or discord.
irl, i still dont have a job so money is tough to come by. what little commissions i do get from peeps are all that i get as far as money is concerned. that being said, im finally gonna open up for sketch commissions. $10 gets you a sketch with up to 2 characters. turnaround time is pretty quick cause no one is commissioning me right now haha. i doubt ill need slots but ill have some just in case it actually does pick up some traction. so if youve ever wanted to get a pic with me, or something by me, now is your chance! if i remember ill try and make the whole example thing over on the commissions tab. but if not, youve seen the sketches i do in my gallery im sure.

also, work is unfortunately starting up again. there is a re-training going on tomorrow and that is only gonna be the start here. hopefully ill still have some time to relax and do stuff since we wont fully be opened up for a long while due to all that is going on.

new year, new possibilities, discord server revamp
General | Posted 5 years agogreetings to all my followers, lurkers, pets, friends and readers of my journals!
last year was most definitely a long one, and a painful one.. but thankfully its over now and the new year brings new possibilities to this world we live in.
the latest from me is i am still out of a job and i am still doing my best to enjoy it as a vacation. lots of ups and downs, but here we are, still chugging along. the newest development here is i have a new bed now! i had been sleeping on my very worn out mattress before for 8+ years and it was thin as the cars and micros i step on which is terrible for my body. i upgraded to a new sturdier bed frame and a much better bed from popular brand purple. im still getting settled in on it so it will take me some time to adjust to the new feeling of a better proper mattress compared to the old trash i was sleeping on before.
ive also been playing games a lot lately, but eventually it does get pretty lonely, so ive decided to try and remedy two things for the price of one in that im trying to revitalize my discord server! ive revamped it with some new organization and added quite a few roles for the games i enjoy playing with others. i aim to use the server more over the coming time, but that will only be possible if i have more than the same 5 people to talk to in it that are already in my DM all the time. so come on down and give the server a look see and see if maybe youd want to join in on the fun! find out whats going on in my life much more quickly than the infrequent journals i post here on FA. come chat with me and maybe set up a game night with me! im looking for people to have fun with and build stuff with in a range of games such as 7 days to die, satisfactory, factorio, raft, stardew valley, terraria, minecraft, astroneer, the list really goes on and on. just join in and strike up a convo with me there [or even in DM if you prefer!] and lets find something to play together and have fun in!

still alive, reason for disappearance, hard life..

as many of you have no doubt realized, ive been gone from the uploading scene for quite some time now. to all that dont have me on telegram or discord, i apologize if i worried anyone. i am still alive, and i am well as of this message in regards to my physical health. now onto the reason for my disappearance form here.
it all starts back in june, around the time of this upload: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36789265/ which was towards the middle of the month. shortly after i uploaded that image, i fell to a debilitating sickness. i had no idea what it was, but i had a terrible headache, my entire body ached, i had a fever, i had a cough, my nose was stuffed up, it was just TERRIBLE. i didnt feel like doing ANYTHING at all. i couldnt eat, sleeping was incredibly hard, and using my laptop to play games or even my phone to chat for extended periods of time was out of the question. so i shelved my laptop for a long time, along with my drawing tablets that i mainly used for uploading pictures here on FA. i would rarely use even my phone at all as extended use of it would make my headache worse. this debilitating sickness hit me and my father the worst. my mother had it bad as well, thankfully my younger sibling was unaffected by it.
the next part is the most difficult for me and still is affecting me to this very day, and will most likely affect me for a long time yet to come..
towards the last week of june, i felt i was slowly climbing out of this sickness. it had been nearly 2 weeks that i had this and it seemed like i was finally going to see the light at the end of the tunnel and things were going to be ok for us. my mother was getting better as well. my father's illness seemed to be still steady. it wasnt as bad as what i had when i initially got sick, but it wasnt as light as what my mother had as well. im not entirely sure as to what happened.. it could have been this sickness.. it could have been the fact my father was diabetic and overweight.. it could have been a combination of the two.. one day, my father laid down to rest and at some point, he passed away...
admittedly, im finding it kind of hard to write down the details... i feel it might also be too traumatic for some people to read so im going to leave those out.. needless to say, it devastated me and my family.. my father wished to be cremated and when his ashes arrived, it kinda broke me and my mother again and we both broke out into tears for a long while..
i didnt feel like doing anything for a long, long time. i just laid in bed and watched tv mainly. id comfort my mother and she would comfort my younger sibling. for another 2 weeks id mainly just watch tv and lay in bed, not wanting to use my laptop, switch, or anything really. thanks to the help of some very close friends that i had for chatting, i was able to get some help with this and make it through a little easier. even now, i still chat with as many friends as i can and try to do fun things to take my mind off things. im slowly getting back into the swing of things. ive started to play my laptop again and my switch as well, but only from time to time. not nearly as much as i used to.
so im slowly going to try and upload my pictures again. ive got lots of wonderful gifts from people, some even as get well soon gifts, and a few commissions along the way. im hoping to make these uploads frequent, but honestly with how little i use my laptop, im not entirely sure how often these will be. i wanted to try and upload one of my own drawings and one of my gifts or commissions, alternating each upload, but if i do, im not sure ill upload so frequently. i figured out that uploading pictures from mobile degrades the quality vs uploading from a desktop. one of my tablets happens to also act as a standalone desktop so ive been uploading from there.
ill try to upload from there, but ill also try and upload from my ipad at some point to see if maybe that maintains the quality of photo. it doesnt matter much when its a doodle or a sketch, but it does make a difference for those amazing gifts and commissions that are actually drawn good. since i dont always have the energy or motivation to set up my laptop or even power up my tablet daily or even every other day yet, i might just stick to uploading doodles and sketches meanwhile to at least have something for you all here. i havent gotten back into drawing since this all happened, but im hoping to change that soon and get back to at least making doodles and sketches.
i dont usually ask anyone for anything, but in this hard time for me and my family, i ask that you all, if you can, send us good vibes, prayers, love, whatever really. and heck, come stop my discord server, add me on telegram, or even note me and just say hi or give me a hug. i could really use all the love i can get atm..

I know I'm not as popular as other artists out there.. im.not as good at art, I domt have as much time to draw.. im not as interesting as them either.. I cant make awesome animations, I domt make videos and my life is pretty boring I think..
It means the world to me that you guys still follow me and still look at my art despite all that. From my frequent favers, my watchers and commenters, to the lurkers that just check my page from time to time waiting for my next submissio. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. You are all the reason I keep going and keep trying to make art despite it being not as good as other people's sketches and doodles.
It's been a wild ride, and I hope I get to keep spending it with all of you.

Back from vacay, E3 and summer time

Hope everyone has been well in my absence here. Hehe. Just thought I'd mention here why I was gone. This is more for those that dont have me on telefram or discord or that arent in my discord server.
It's been a long week, or in the case of my last upload before today, 9 days. The reason I poofed so suddenly was cause I took a week long vacation from work to go to E3! It was quite the fun place to stomp around at and play those teeny tiny game consoles they had set up.
I got to play borderlands 3 while I was there and I gotta say, it is looking to be quite the awesome experience! Sadly, fl4k wasnt a playable character in the demo, ut I did get to play Zane and moze. For swag I git a swag bag, some art of the psycho and his many masks that were teased with the "mayhem is coming!" Tagline. I also got some codes to join with their VIP program to get some goodies on launch!
Next up, I also gave the new pokemon sword and shield a try. I got to fight through a gym that had a bit of a puzzle element to it as well. Got to see a couple new pokemon during some battles and I even got to dynamax them too against the gym leader! Gotta say, these fake little macros are quite good in a battle... against each other that is! Against a true macro like myself that doesnt revert to micro size after 3 turns though, they dont stand a chance. They barely even reach up to the dirt line on my toes! For my playthrough though, I did get some sweet pins of all 3 starters.
I also hung around the fortnite booth quite a lot this year cause they had free drinks and noms! Well, it was just some slurp juice, cookies, popcorn and dark chocolate covered bananas. I've personally never played fortnite because im not really I to multiplayer only games. But I did get a look at this creative thing that did I intrigue me as I'm one that likes to create and build things like in minecraft and terraria. Apparently this slurp juice is an in game item that heals you. Irl, it was a smol cup that had the name slurp juice on the side and it was filled with piña colada flavored icee. Good stuff really since I drank like 5 a day of each of the 3 days of E3. In the way of swag, they gave me some codes for some in-game sprays, some socks, a bracelet of some sort, and a pink fuzzy hoodie that had this heart with a lightning bolt in the middle. Have no idea what that's from but it must be something popular. Walking around said booth were a host of different characters from the game I assume! A banana, a pink bear, a ninja, fish, tomato, pirate, a soldier riding a.. llama? And even a Bush! They had some bizarre jumping competition in which something spins where you have to jump over one obstacle and duck under the next. I couldn't really do it in macro form, so after stomping out the line, I shrunk and gave it a shot. Quite fun! There was some dance booth too though I had no idea how to dance any of those fortnite dances.
I also got to play a slew of smaller games like hero land, tokai kitchen, and crash team racing: nitro fueled in an 8 player race of which I got 1st place.
All in all, it was quite a fun time and I cant wait to go again next year to see what's in store!
Sadly, my vacation ended today and it is now time to head back to working 6 days a week. At the very least, most of my shifts are early shifts, so ita not all bad I suppose. Uploads should resume normally, though of course, as many of you know by now, I am dreadfully slow when it comes to art due to working so much. But progress is progress, and I am successfully doing at least one related art thing a day, be it doing a part of a sketch, laying at least one line, or filling in at least one part of a pic worh color. For anyone that wants to keep up with that daily progress, be sure to join my discord server or follow me over on Twitter! I post updates there on whatever piece of art I happen to be working on. Otherwise, you can always just wait and eventually I'll finish and upload it here. :3
Summer is here, so I will be working many weeks where I get only one day off, so any support you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated! I dont just mean like donating a kofi, commissioning me, or donating on PayPal, I also mean send me all them hugs, smooches, and just any positive words you have! They help me keep going and give me something to look forward to at the end of each and every day if I didnt already have something to look forward to.

Also, I've made up my mind, and I'm gonna do my best to save up enough money to buy myself a new gaming laptop. Why ami telling you guys this? I dunno honestly. Just so the journal wont be as empty in content I suppose. Hehe.

General | Posted 6 years agoSo recently, I have been harrassed and annoyed by someone online via telegram.
They claim to be on medication that has side effects of making them aggressive and such, but they constantly beg me to perma them and then they beg to come back under a different account. They claim to have 400 phone numbers and dont care about being caught or banned.
I have seen that under a few of his other accounts, he uses other people's art as his icons and pretends to be them. He has threatened me many times to talk to my friends to.show them "the real me" and that I'm supposedly an asshole. They have threatened many times to ruin my reputation here on FA.
I have asked him.multiple times to leave me alone and have blocked many of his alt accounts on telegram, but he keeps on making new ones to threaten me with.
I suspect he might try to use my art as his icon and contact some of you to try and harrass you and make you think it's me. So I urge you all to be cautious please. Make sure you look for my bio on telegram, as well as my unique @ handle since he cant copy that. Be on the lookout as well for the proper numbers at the end of my discord handle as I suspect he might try and use that as well. Hell, they might even take to Twitter for that, so again, please be on the lookout.

rebuild, renew, refresh

I think its finally time to begin to rebuild things here. its been a rough life so far, but im aiming to make it better. the first steps are gonna be done here online. I will be redoing my profile info to reflect new ideals and such.
another thing im gonna do is relaunch my discord server and possibly make a completely new telegram group for those that wish to keep up with me on a day to day basis. i work quit eoften and its hard for me to always tell everyone of how im doing or whether or not im busy, so i feel being more present in my server as well as remaking or completely making a new group on telegram will help me to convey how i am doing at the moment to all those that truly care about me and wish to know me better.
the next step is my art. ive long been questioning whether or not what i do with my doodles is enough or if i should focus on making bigger, full art pieces instead. complete with lines, colors and shading possibly. im looking for as many opinions as i can get, be it on here in this journal, or in a note, or even on telegram or discord. SHOULD i keep uploading doodles and trying to draw one daily to keep a daily upload going, or should i instead focus on trying to upload more fully finished pieces, and leave the posting of those doodles i might do for like twitter, telegram, and/or discord? id probably still eventually upload the doodles here too when i have the time in the end, or maybe not if people prefer i don't. opinions wont fully decide for me how ill do it, but they will play a part in the final decision while i think about it.
i am hoping this will be a huge positive change in my life, and i want to share it with anyone that wants to partake in it with me and even help me shape my future online.

Telegram said on their Twitter that they are having a server issue and that many accounts seem like they were deleted or blocked everyone. Once the issue is fixed, the accounts will be back up.

General | Posted 7 years agoGreetings to all my watchers and journal readers. Hope everyone is doing fine so far. This journal is to ask you all a few questions. Im preeetty sure i forgot one of the ones i was gonna ask, so i MIGHT update this journal after this btw. If i ever remember the question that is.
Anyway, my main question for a while now has been, are you guys liking the daily uploads when it comes to my doodles and sketches? I try my best to draw a doodle a day, but sometimes life has other plans so i end up skipping some days. Work, fatigue, family, any number of things can get in the way.
But are YOU, the watchers and favers happy with the quality of work? Or would you rather i spend more time on these drawings to color them in or something? I am not the fastest of liners and again, life gets in the way a lot of my drawing time but if i spent more time on these pics, i could probably at least color them in.
Unless you guys dont mind waiting like a LONG time for me to actually line, color, and shade everything. But that would take SUCH a long time since i dont have much time, or even motivation to draw for that long to make a dent in those kinds of full drawings. Im usually just too tired from work to work much on a big drawing. Its why i came up with the idea to simply do at least one element of a drawing at any time a few journals back.
So i decided long ago that i was gonna do at least 1 doodle a day since its easier for me to quickly make those sketchy looking things i usually upload. But again, that brings into account if you all enjoy that qualoty of art, or would rather i take longer to possibly color the sketch in, or even line, color and shade it into a full piece.
OH, i remembered one of the questions i wanted to ask, so i might not have to update this journal afterall. The questions is, since this novemeber i will be getting a new phone that i will HOPEFULLY be able to doodle on, depending on if there is a good program/app for that or not, where should i upload any doodles done on it? Should it be here, twitter, telegram, or discord?
Have in mind these doodles will be SMALL since im gonna be drawing on a phone screen. The galaxy note 9 to be specific. So for those of you that are long time watchers and favers, think of those old post-it note doodles i used to do. They will be something like that. For those that are newer but dont want to scroll back through my gallery to see them [how could yooouuu! Scroll back and fave moooreeeee! Revelations, progressions, creations, unanswered questions
General | Posted 7 years agoGreetings to all my journal readers. Been a while since ive written anything productive and worth reading here, but i think i finally got some good news to spread around to all you.
First off, i had some good revelations the other day. The most prominent of which is how to get bigger art pieces actually done and not feel so bleh and unmotivated to draw them.
I was looking at them all wrong at first. Having it in my head that i needed to get the whole thing done in one day anf therefore could only work on them on my days off from work. This led to me feeling lazy and unmotivated to work on them.
But now, i got the perfect way for me to not feel that way, and get them done despite not having much time to draw~
Simply put: i will do at least 1 piece of an element of a drawing.
In explanation: i will do at least one part of the sketch a day. Or one line during the lining process a day. One splash of color, one streak of shading, etc.
Doing this, im more likely to feel the want and motovation to keep going and add more than just the one piece of an element. But if i dont for any reason, i at least laid the one line, the one sketch piece, the one stroke of shading, etc.
With this method i hope to get bigger and better pieces done for you all. And of course this goes on top of my already long in motion goal of at least one doodle a day [when i work. Hasnt reached into days off yet. XDD].

General | Posted 7 years agoToday, i was accused. Accused by one of my best friends and now a former pet , of using all my pets for my own benefits.
I was given no other explanation and was told by the accuser they no longer wish to know me or be my friend. They removed me and even cancelled art that was planned from them, left all my groups, and even blocked me.
I just want to ask all my pets and all my friends as well just in case.
Do you all think im just using you for my own benefits? Please be honest. I will not be mad. Im pretty much catatonic irl at this moment. So its more or less impossible for me to get mad anyway.
If it honestly feels lile im using you, and i dont even know i am, you are free to wash your hands of me and i will never bother you again. Just please let me know..
If i really am using you all and i dont even know it, i will gladly leave and disappear forever so i dont cause anymore pain or discomfort.
The only thing i do admit to using all of you for is for support..

General | Posted 8 years agoGreetings to all you fine individuals out there. I decided to make the title of this journal akin to that of a submission cause it just made me giggle and smile a bit at the time.
Anyway, the purpose of this journal is for free arts! That is right, free, no monies needed except for the price tag of free.99~
Now, what exactly will i be giving you for free? Why a doodle of course! Cause i am dreadfully slow with doing other stuff [and i hate myself for it].
The rules of engagement are as follows:
Simple ideas only please! These things will be done on the bus and on a ride as bumpy as the one i take, precision is not a strong point.
If i deem your idea too complex, ill simplify it. If your character is too complex ill simplify it.
First come first serve. I will just go down the list of ideas and go one by one. These will generally be done on work days which as of now is 4 days a week. So please be patient. After all, it is free art.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: please remember i am just another person like you. I get sad sometimes, down, tired, lazy, etc. I will try my best to do these daily, but if things happen to slow me down, please dont get mad at me.
Please follow my rules of what i will and wont draw that are posted on my profile. If i just dont like the idea you put forward, ill be sure to let you know in a reply. If i dont reply, it probably means your doodle will be drawn eventually.

past, present, and future
General | Posted 8 years agofirst and foremost, if you came here via discord or telegram, you may read from here, or if you want to see what is most pertinent to you, skip to the section after the BLUE text. everyone else, please start here.
what a year it has been. 2017 I mean. lots of crazy things happening online and irl. job hours became stable, got better at drawing [or so you people say. X3], started doodling more regularly at work, finally chipping away at those commissions I owe as well. met some amazing people, friends, some even became my pets. lost some good friends too sadly, but you all help me press on.
presently, I finally added some stuff to the commission info tab on my profile and am writing this very journal. hehe. lots of things flooding through my mind. ideas of ambition, a want to do things, supporting artists and friends, many many things are floating around this rark's noggin. my discord server has been fairing pretty well so far, but as always, more people are always welcome, and friends of friends too. all that is required is to take a 50 question quiz on why you should be allowed into the server. :3 [I am kidding of course XDDDD]
for the future, I am looking to finally be done with my commissions, trades, and at least a few requests within as soon a time as I can. life can be pretty hectic at times and with mood going up and down, art can be slow sometimes. I did however finished another sketchbook with drawings fresh and ready for upload. just need to scan them and upload them, so expect those within due time. also coming down the line are more YCH thingies for all you awesome peeps out there.

so I do realize that I once again have amassed quite the following of pets over my time here on FA and telegram and discord and such. so I kind of wanted to address it here I guess. some do care for me or hold our relationship as master and pet higher than others do. I wanted to ask what it meant to you all. what does the whole master and pet thing mean to you? is it something serious, or something you do as just friends? would you consider your master as something of family to you, or a very close friend, or just something you do for fun in rp?
I want to know what it means to you people, and what it means to those of you that consider yourselves my pets. do you wish to be only mine and devote your pet life to me? do you consider me family? is it that you feel I am the closest friend to you? is it that you pay more attention to me than others when I message you? is it just something fun you do with me that you don't do with others in rp? do you do it with multiple people in rp and not only with me?
if anyone has ever felt that they wanted to be released from such a thing. of being my pet, be it because you think maybe I have too many and have no time to message you: "oh, leon has way too many pets and is always busy with other pets or has too many friends so I feel like maybe I shouldn't be his pet"
maybe you feel I forget about you: "he hasn't messaged me in forever, why should I continue being his pet? he probably has forgotten me for other pets instead"
so I guess I'm asking if any of you wish to leave or something. or do you all wish to stay with me? I know I have a lot of pets. and sometimes I forget some in all the messages and such. so if you feel like maybe its too much and you feel I'm not paying attention to you enough, then I don't want to make you feel forced to stay with me if you rather not.
but if you do want to leave or stay, id like to know. its for the future. for my future plans. to get my online life sorted out. feel free to comment here, or send me a note, or PM over discord or telegram.

General | Posted 8 years agoSo this time around, the ride where i usually do my doodles is down for rehab. I will instead be working at two other rides whwre i have no plave or time to doodle. So here we go ladies and gents, fuzz butts and scalies, furs and pokefurs, its round 2 of free sketches.
Im just gonna copy paste the rest from last time. And yes, all previous sketches are in fact now finished and are just pending upload. I will be doing those one a day so be on the lookout for them.
The first 5 to comment on here get the slots. Will be first come first serve and i will work on them in the order i get them once i get home after work. Will be at least one a day minimum i am aiming for. If for some reason i feel particularly good and decide to do more than one a day and finish my queue, ill open the slots again.
ASSUME THAT I WILL ONLY DO 5 THOUGH.
If i do open again, it will be for as many slots as there are days left for monday to friday. So if for example by tuesday night i finish all 5 sketches, i will update this journal and offer 3 more slots. So keep an eye on this, but again, assume i will only do one a day and ony do 5 total.
ALSO REMEMBER, THEY WILL BE SIMPLE DIGITAL SKETCHES. THEY WONT BE LINED OR COLORED.
So no super complicated ideas, and any super complex characters will be simplified. These are supposed to be like the quick doodles id do at work. If i cant seem to grasp the idea, ill note you about it.
ALSO IF YOU HAVE TELEGRAM OR DISCORD WHERE I CAN SEND YOU THE FINISHED SKETCH, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME, BUR IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR A SLOT.

you all love supporting me so much and help keep me going with your kind words and faves. reminds me that people like my art and want to see what I have to offer next. thank you all for the encouragement and I especially appreciate those of you that took the time to get to know me and message me. my friends that talk to me, I thank you all for being there and making sure I didn't just throw in the towel when I was feeling bad at a few points.
I hope to meet more of you and become friends in the future.
