Good news bad news.

Bad news: My pokemon go app data got corrupted. Didnt link it to my Facebook for backup as my Yahtzee account on FB was closed years ago by the admins because I dont want to identify my real life name on that account. So had to re-start my Pokemon Go at level 1.

Good news: There is a phone app called Animation Throwdown: the quest for cards. On it there is a babyfur guild. Only me and the guild's creator currently are the only members. We need more members, at least 15 members needed to participate in the in-game "rumble" tournaments.

I finally made my first babyfur video last weekend and just got it uploaded. Would have added music but as it was uploaded directly from my phone apparently that wasn't an option. Also I talked in character, which isn't my normal voice.

Today is my Sunday I'm off home from work. My supervisor at my day job just text me, and tried to pull a humorous prank on me. I saw through it but played along anyways. In the end it was him we got Rick rolled. lol

Found a skyrim easter egg in the Fallout Shelter app. (Yes I know they're made by the same company) it just caught me by surprise. Had to watch and wait nearly a month before this one character repeated it for a screen capture. Its a rather uncommon phrase.
If you're wondering how / where it happened: its Kayla Allen that is talking to Sharon Davis. (I didnt re-name random characters for this) this occurs in the super reactor room.

It's unfortunate, this years Rainfurrest was cancelled. I don't know the full story on it beyond what is posted on the Rainfurrest website. Hopefully 2017 will happen without all the problems that kept this years from happening.

Yes I'm back on Skype now after almost 2 years of not being able to use it.
Hurrah for my new phone being able to utilize this program!
I'm also now also on Telegram. Yes I have Twitter though I don't actively follow it unless I get a shout out or direct message sent to me.

Yesterday I had a random person friend me on Skype. Didn't recognize their user name but added and greeted them politely asking who is this and the reply I got back was hi.
Okay, if you do find me on some other site and your user name doesn't hint at who you are, then please identify yourself asap. It's greatly unsettling having someone know you and not know who they are. If identify doesn't get established fairly early on I will consider my new follower a stalker and take appropriate action and permanently block and or remove you without hesitation. The only exception is Twitter, where I only know about 5% of my followers.

It just started snowing an hour ago. Too warm to stick to the roads, but these huge snowflakes are quickly covering the lawn!

If you're not already aware of it, we have some news for you about next year's con. RainFurrest 2016 will not be held at the Seattle Airport Hilton.

I know that's a little sparse on detail, and everybody's head is full of questions: "Why? What will we do? What caused this?" Believe me, we understand all those questions and more. The board is aware of the reasons behind this change, I am aware of the reasons, and Buni (as next year's chair) is also aware of the reasons. But we can't share everything with you guys yet.

We promise, we will tell everybody (especially you guys) everything we can, as soon as we possibly can. We know it's hard to not have any answers right now, and we're sorry that we can't share everything we're working on right away. For reasons I can't get into, we felt we needed to let people know right away that we won't be at the Hilton next year.

Yes, RF2016 is absolutely going to happen! It just won't be at the Hilton, is all. We will have more news to share with you on this subject, but we need a little more time before we can lift the wraps on the next stage of things. I know it's hard, but please be patient with us.

Finally, I know there's a lot of speculation flying around on social media right now. Please don't engage with or fuel it. Let people know that there will be a RainFurrest 2016, and there will be mo re information coming out in future. I can't promise when, but we will let everybody know as soon as we can.

I have a Dropbox account that I created on my old Razor M Android phone. I've upgraded to an iPhone S6 and quickly downloaded the Dropbox app, logged into my account only to find that was empty. All the folders and pictures that are suppose to be in there aren't there! I've searched the website and there isn't help support other user advice page which my phone refuses to input the info required onto the last field box. Advice???

Those of you who already know my phone has been giving me issues for the past few months due to putting toe nail clippers in the same pocket as my phone and the subsequent damage that occurred to the speakers. This past Tuesday morning, while in the midst of writing a text, (my experience of Rainfurrest.). Was typing out the last sentence before I was going to paste it into a new FA journal, when this happened: the phone all on its own turned off the turned back on then proceeded to keep the start up animation running for nearly four hours before going to the connect the dots screen, which then failed to acknowledge my finger on the screen. Tried restarting the phone only to encounter the problem again. Time to finally get a new phone. Four hours at Verizon, I finally have the phone I wanted and still have my unlimited data plan. My wallet is gonna be sore for a while. I'll see about re-writing the journal later this week as time permits. In the meantime I'm going to familiarize myself with this fancy phone.

Windows is now forcing computers to update even with the update option turned off. The set of four updates adds tracking and spyware onto your computer. Supposedly these updates can be unistalled. Details in the links bellow.

If you've read my previous journals, I've mentioned that I was raised by my mom and her parents. My father I never got the chance to be around him. My mom and him were supposed to get married.... but her mother sternly dictated every aspect of the wedding, giving my mom no choice but to take a back seat and wait for the ceremony to commence. In a fit of rage annoyance my mom on the day of the ceremony called off the wedding. Her mom was of course just as angry for the amount of funds she had paid for everything. Soon after my father moved on with his life somewhere across the state, never to be heard from again. I was about age 3 then. As I grew up both of grandparents passed away during my teenager years / early twenties.
Over the years , I've kept an eye open to see if my father's name didn't pop up in other city phone books at the library. No luck, I found a few people with different middle initials... but none that completely matched. When the internet happened, I of course jumped at the chance to see if that might end my search. Again no luck. I would try a few more times as the months went by. Depressed I eventually gave up my search believing the endeavor was hopeless. I was 32 in 2001 when my mom passed away. This is about the same time I found the furry fandom. I found a martial arts program to focus my attention upon. I stayed with that program for nearly 10 years.

Late last night I had a weird premonition to try the name one more time. Google'd it and the first entry brought up a funeral announcement posted some eleven years ago, roughly during the same time I was taking my 1st degree blank belt certification test inTokyo. I am saddened by this discovery yet surprising in calm. It has brought some closure to as to the whereabouts of my father as well as some insight to the sort of interests he had. Spent his life living in a small semi metropolitan coastal town, mostly a destination for tourists, working in a sawmill. He married someone else and has several kids and a few grandkids. So apparently I have family here. The thing is they might not know about me. Additionally my mom also cautioned me that all of my father's siblings smoke, drink and have had various run ins with law... if I'm to believe what she told me. These are the sort of scary kind people that I have always gone out of my way to avoid. I grew up in a dysfunctional home and begrudgingly tolerated my family rather than having any sort of bond towards them. My mom kept me so close to her that her "apron strings" were like a tourniquet. now that I have outlived my childhood family, do I consider stepping into the lives of these strangers and say here I am? I consider myself to be an introvert nearly to the point of being considered an recluse. Honestly the idea of introducing myself dose frighten me. What are your thoughts? I'm tempted to just remain in obscurity from them.

Update: Good news, customer support finally got back to me. They managed to pull up an older game save of lv 21 (I was at lv 27. I've returned to playing the game, yet probably wont throw any more real money toward the buyable content.
