OH YEAH I GOT AN ACTUAL JOB BTW

So yeah about 2 months ago I landed something pretty close to my dream job? It's only a contract for now but I'm working in QA with a side focus on programming for a smallish but fairly known and influential game developer (kinda afraid to namedrop it here until I'm there longer and feel more secure there, ask me on steam or something if you're curious). So yeah it's a pretty sweet gig and I can actually afford stuff like cons and commissions now, so expect to see more stuff here eventually! :D

Posted 10 years agoI'm currently unemployed and neet as fuck right now but I'm interested in going to ANE if I can end up scrounging the money together. Is anyone I'm close to looking to fill any room slots? If not (and/or if I can't afford it) I'll likely just take the train in for Saturday, but in case I decide I can do the whole thing I'm looking to see if anything's available.

Buying the worst porn we can find in the dealer's room, spinning pretty lights in circles at the raves with Razure-Darkmoon, finding the guy who got me interested in staff spinning again

I don't really do art at all yet, so nah

Will definitely drop into the toga party if that's a thing again!

Within reason, sure! Drinking is fun, but blacking out and forgetting things and getting sick and doing stupid stuff isn't

Posted 11 years agoComing here was mostly to reclaim my actual screenname now that I had access to it, but I kind of wanted to start a fresh account anyways. My old one was really clogged up with excessive watches and favorites as well as comments all over the place that link back to people I'm not really in contact with anymore, so I'm happy to take a fresh start.
