Ok, so... My art doesn't seem to attract much attention, ha ha. That's probably my own fault, but here's the deal.

I need money to shop for Christmas. I hate not being able to buy presents for people. And since the job scene down here is abysmal (Not even exaggerating), taking commissions is the only way I can make money right now. So here's what I'll do.

COMMISSION SALE

My prices were already pretty low, but now I'm taking them a bit lower from here until Christmas.

Sketches will now be 2.50

Linework will now be 7.50

Flat Color will now be 10.00

Full Color w/ Shading will now be 12.50 and up (Depending on the request for backgrounds, locale, and detail of a character).

For any extra characters besides the initial character, I will only tack on 1.50 per character.

I accept paypal, And am pretty open with what I am willing to draw. I think the only thing I'm not comfortable with drawing is gay porn of any type. Nothing against people who choose that lifestyle, I have tried to draw it for someone before. But it didn't turn out well, so it's apparently outside of my comfort zone.

Seems that my power is getting shut off on the 20th. That’s 5 days from now. Can’t pay the bill off in one go, and their billing department wants to wait until Saturday to set something up for payments. That’s the day it gets shut off, btw.

Just reminding anyone who's interested that I AM taking commissions. I run relatively cheap compared to a lot of other FA users.

Sketches can be from 5-10 dollars, depending on the subject matter or how many characters. I generally limit it to 2 characters without tacking more on.

Lineart can be 10-15. Again, depending on the subject or how many characters.

Colored usually runs around 20-25. Again, subject or number of characters.

For more than 2 characters I might tack on an extra 5-10 each, depending on the kind of picture. (Full bodied or headshots, torso shots, etc. etc.).

But these prices aren't necessarily static. I might consider each picture separately in terms of price. Either way, I will try to be reasonable. I will not take money first, I will wait until the commission is finished (or at least I'm happy with the results), and provide a preview picture. (of the face, or some part that may have been a particular emphasis as far as the commission goes). You will have the option whether or not you want me to post the commission on here or not, or to have the full-sized picture sent to your e-mail.

Homosexuality. Yes, it exists. Yes, some people like it. But why does it have to become a plot device in webcomics and other published/freelance works. Do writers really have to rely on this to get views?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a homophobe. But the fact that it's being used to move purchases or get views... Well, I get annoyed when I see it on sights like this. Want FA views? Draw a giant throbbing penis. In other places it seems to be lesbians all over the place. I don't know if it's a trend or what, but jesus... tone it down. You can't use someones sexuality to define them as a person, and that's been happening a lot.

On this note.. Things that aren't gay. Fans of said things making things gay. Seems to happen a lot of things.. But a good example would be TF2. Now, I've rambled about how homosexuality in Transformers was annoying, but TF2 is a case of IT JUST DOESN'T FIT.

Team Fortress 2, the series was set in the 1960s. If anyone looks back in the history books, homosexuality was something that was not wide-spread at all... In fact, if a person WAS homosexual, they hid it. Because to reveal oneself as homosexual would put one at risk of being ostracized, beaten, etc. etc. But there are a wide swatch of fans, mostly girls, that are pairing up TF2 characters, OC or otherwise, having gay buttsecks all over the place. I GET IT, people are homosexual.. THESE DAYS. But in the 60s, they weren't. Being gay wasn't something that you revealed about yourself without great risk. And in a group of men who are all armed with weapons to the teeth, the risk is even more so. But I continue to see kawaii desu guys all over the place. I don't even see this kind of crap amongst the (rare) straight Team Fortress 2 situations.

Even more infuriating is all of the people who insist that the main characters, the ones that VALVE THEMSELVES have made, are secretly gay for each other.. when a good part of them haven't even played the game. And I realize that every fandom does this with every series.. but it seems even more ridiculous in a series like TF2, set in the 1960s. The sixties. *shakes head*

I had recently heard a couple of discussions where one party couldn't seem to look past the idea that the other side was "Just homophobic/heterocentric". You know, the sad fact is that society at large is still hetero-centric. That's something that I doubt will ever change, even when homosexual rights are finally realized, simply because of the ratio of homosexual/heterosexual. But people just get downright NASTY about some of this material.. I've seen some of them get downright vulgar right off the bat, like they enter into the discussion pissed at the world because somone challenged their worldview and fetish..

Normally I'm not a pony fan. HotDiggetyDemon's pony cartoons are comical to me, as they parody the show but don't try to fit into the same pony-niche that almost everyone else that draws ponies seem to. (I've seen some exceptions, thankfully, to this). However.... I honestly sadface at the amount of baldspots I see in the crowd when they're cheering the Applejack VA like their favorite team just scored the winning touchdown in the Super bowl. GOOD JOB, FULLY GROWN MEN.

This is why when someone says "Brony" I involuntarily clench and resist the temptation to tell whoever uttered this retarded fan-made "word" to STFU.

Barring Open Your Heart from Sonic Generations, this song caught my interest after purchasing Orcs Must Die! from the Steam Autumn Sale (The whole thing with all of its DLC was only 5 bucks combined). It's a very good game, and if it's ever on sale again I recommend getting it. Anyway, here be the song.



I love the combination of vocals and harpsichord for this one, with some organ-y music thrown in later. Combined with the modern beats, wow.

I had found a picture on the front page. It was a bear. A big-breasted bear. With black nipples. Seems par for the course on FA, right?

Well, glancing over the thumbnail on the front page, it looked slightly like a cartoon bear making a cartoon double-take, with the breasts resembling eyes. Honest mistake, and kinda silly, right? So jokingly, I leave a comment on the picture, not even thinking that anyone could take that in offense, or as an affront to their comment pages, right?

WRONG

Holy shit, she jumped all over me, immediately bringing out the "Wow, you must have a defective brain" insult, and basically trying her best to say "wow ur dumb as fukk" but in the most intelligent way possible. Granted, my response was a little mean in return; I don't appreciate being called retarded for a dumb joke that meant no actual offense.. But still.. The initial reaction was unexpected, and unwarranted. I mean, I know people get mad if you come on to their pictures and insult their art, but I wasn't even doing that. I didn't even try to give critique. It was a coincidental arrangement of tits that looked like cartoon eyes. That's the joke. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why does making stupid jokes warrant such sudden and vengeful remarks? I don't understand some people..

...People post crap that's OBVIOUSLY against the rules, whether by moral standards (i.e. pedophilia/cub), or by common sense standards (copyrighted material, someone else's work that wasn't for them, etc. etc.), you politely remind them of that fact, and they, instead of being sensible and doing something along the lines of "Oh, my bad. I'll take it down" they take it PERSONALLY and become super-defensive?

And then when you just give up on being nice and post the link to the AUP, which is where it's CLEAR that their submission is against the rules, they delete all comments and block you. Isn't it just easier to draw your own crap, or delete the submission that you made a mistake on, instead of arguing about it, and then having to block 2-3 people?

I thought so. But I keep running into people who take GREAT OFFENSE that someone dares to point out what is obviously wrong with their submission; it's against the rules.

I mean, I like to think that I be warned before a mod ends up having to take my submission down anyway, gives me a chance to correct my own errors. So what the crap?

Have you ever been stuck in a dream, in a perpetual state of "almost awake", but the part of your mind that controls the dreams wants to keep you there, explaining, possibly even adding to the dream that you were just having? I don't get them often, but I should have been awake 3 hours ago. This is what resulted; This was apparently started in Victorian times, btw. But the tale continues to this day.

George was outwardly a normal man... A man who loved, a man who hurt.. But not a man who ever got injured. No, this was only half true. He could get injured.. But whether by a genetic miracle or the power of God or something, George was a regenerator.. That is, as he was injured, his body would heal, regenerate, whatever was necessary to return everything to working order.

Once, George had fallen down a ravine when he was 12. His arm had gotten caught in an outcropping on the way down, but his own momentum ripped his arm free of the socket. George laid at the bottom of the ravine, broken, but not dead. As he waited for the blackness of death to overtake him, he started to hear.. popping noises. Crackling. His right shoulder, where his arm had been ripped from, started to hurt again (where it had gone numb from the shock and blood loss). George looked down to his body; his broken legs had started to re-align, his breathing returning to normal, he was able to feel his legs again.. And then the most startling, as George looked to his right side, flesh was re-knitting and reforming; His arm was.. growing back?

At that point, George decided to kept this a secret. People were paranoid and afraid of the unknown or unnatural, and at first George thought he would be assumed to be some sort of male witch. So rubbing his hand in the blood left on the ground, he smeared it on his new arm.. trying his best to look injured still. And made his way back to his house. No doubt his father would scold him about going and getting himself injured. As George started to climb out of the ravine, his arm, still caught in the outcropping, swung in the breeze.

George didn't let this condition of his go to his head. He avoided fights, he avoided any situations where it would be discovered that he was some sort of amazing regenerating man. Until he met a girl.. She was a pretty young thing, but much younger than he. At first he was determined to keep his condition a secret, even from her. But 2 years after getting to know her, he didn't have a choice; Thanks to a feral zombie attack (look, I know, this is where it gets kind of even more fantasy, but bear with me), she had been infected with the very necromantic energies that animated the once-humans. The girl, we'll call her Elise, tried her best to fight off the contagion. George stayed by her bedside as she lay, in perpetual fever.. The bite wound on her arm, where she had been infected, continued to ooze, but not with her own blood. George consulted several people who had more knowledge of the necromantic arts than he.. She could not fight it off forever. She was technically already dead. Soon she would crave flesh. George was appalled at this.. She was the only one he had come to love, and he was about to lose her.

Until he talked to one person.. A secluded elderly man.. He kept to himself, but his dabbling in the mystics had become infamous.. And his powers were as such that even when the locals tried to raid his house to kill or capture him, as soon as they would reach the door, they would lose all will and just.. go home. George approached the man, with care of course. And the man, with a chuckle echoing from the house itself, allowed him to pass the front door.

The man knew George's secret. George wanted to know how he could know this when George had told no one, but then the elderly man reminded him of who he was. What he could do. And that he knew of young Elise's eventual fall into darkness.

"But there is one thing that you, who are basically of ever-growing flesh, can do for her... Something that ONLY you can do for her.." said the man, grinning a disturbing grin..

George , without even missing a step, lept at this. "What is it? Tell me, old man, I will do anything that is needed."

The old man gave a bit of a cackle.. "You can sacrifice your own flesh to appease her rather.. dark hunger..."

George was surprised at this.. this suggestion was against most beliefs, as well as the fact that cannibalism was considered unholy.. "What!? but.. but that's against everything that they teach at the church! You're mad, and I'm leaving!"

The old man grinned again, with a more firm laugh "And yet you requested the help of a man who is proficient in the supposed 'profane arts'. Well, I've told you what you can do. It's up to you whether you want to make use of it. Heh heh heh... Good luck, boy."

George returned to the house.. but when he opened the door to Elise's room.. It was destroyed. Elise sat on her knees, in the middle of the room.. breathing heavily, but still breathing. George slowly approached her, but she yelled at him to stay back. She yelled in a panic what caused her to go berzerk.. She was craving something. What the old man said was true. George knew what she was craving. As did she. George was only briefly in a turmoil. He had told himself that he would do anything for this woman. ANYTHING. So grabbing a saber that had been hung on a wall before Elise's rampage, and putting his arm against a table, out of Elise's sight, he cleanly sliced his own arm off. Elise heard the "slice-thud" noise and turned suddenly in horror to see this. Panicked she moved away, but then stared in amaze ment as George's arm stump started to.. grow back? But Elise's wonder at that was suddenly overcome with what else she noticed- flesh, still warm, laying on the floor. George picked up his severed arm.. and with grim resolution, handed it to her.

"But... why.. Why would you do this!? I'm a monster now.. These cravings.. they're unholy.. Why would you damage and defile your own self for this?" Even as she said this, she was starting to feel the craving build up again... "Why, George..." Even as her protests left her lips, she found her mouth starting to approach the flesh of the arm...


George looked at her, with a look of dedication in his eyes.. "Because, Elise. I love you. And I always will.."

The hungry and tearing noises could be heard up and down the hall outside of the room...

George and Elise still exist to this day. George's regenerating powers seem to have increased, causing him to remain perpetually young at the age of 35. Elise, kept young and preserved by the necromantic energies, remains at his side. His flesh the only thing keeping her from losing her sense of self and becoming a ravaging monster fit for nothing else but to be put down.

They are the perfect couple.

Commissions are always open. I have yet to get too many to the point that I couldn't manage them, so feel free to inquire. Most prices depend on the request, but a quick price guide here..

Fully colored, starts at 20. I might throw in a background of sorts, unless you request no background. Extra characters will be an extra ten. There are exceptions to this price though. It will be in a case-by-case basis.

Guy posts something on FA depicting him in a dogmask wanking off. FA Admins remove it. Guy in dogmask asks if he can repost a picture of his face. This is not against the AUP, so the admin allows it. Guy decides "Oh, I know! I'll post a video on Xtube and link it in the description of the picture!", and does so, a video depicting himself jacking off. Xtube is one of the most well-known depositories for porn videos on the internet.

Gets told that's probably against the AUP since there is a specific rule against actual porn or depicted sex toys. (by users this time)

Insists that there is no rule against posting links (Which he's right, there is not, but mods and admins still remove submissions for posting links to porn anyway. Common sense). Tries to mentally beat down people that tell him it's against the rules with his "logic" that since facebook links are allowed, then it should be ok to post ANY link, nevermind the fact that he linked to explicit porn.

Basically pulls the old "*plugs ears* I'M NOT LISTENING LALALALALALALALA I'M RIGHT UR WRONG LALALALALALALA" bit for the rest of the afternoon.

I love it when I try to give constructive "critissism" (lol) to someone, with no rude comments or actions whatsoever, and instead of a "thanks, I'll work on that", I get "will you FUCKING DROP IT" and "STOP WITH THE PATHETIC QESTIONS" and "YOU MUST HAVE A REALLY HARD LIFE TO SEE THAT".

I'm definitely not name-dropping, and I'm not calling for a jihad, this is more a case of me being annoyed with people who can't accept even an ounce of criticism. (or as it was typed, "crissism", no joke).

I know my art isn't perfect, but I operate under the idea that "artists help Artists". Usually.

Thanks to a very giving friend (one who I prolly don't deserve but will try my best to from now on) I now own an Intuos4 tablet. This thing is huge, especially compared to the old Graphire I was using, but so far is working very well.

Commissions will be available. Same prices as before, 5 dollar sketches, 8-10 full colored (with extra 5 per character), possible more depending on the request.
