That time of year again!
Posted 12 years agoWoo hey! I never know what to post in journals anymore...I've not been posting much as I've been super busy this month drawing traditional artwork for Anthrocon this year to put in their art show! :D I have one piece left to do and one week left to do it...Also going to try to finish up my Okami suit to bring with me. We'll see how that goes...Eventually I'll finish the other one I was intending to sell...XD
Oh and also, a BIG thank you to all who helped vote for me in that contest! I won!! :D My ram is now their official mascot and....[I may even be the one making their actual costume too...we shall see.]

It's been fun though :3 Currently trying to finish up my Amaterasu partial and I already have yet another suit planned (and partially in the works as well too, because I'm yanno, insane. XD I'm actually making two Ammy partials with the intent to sell the second. Check it out:

Anthrocon always gets me so artistically inspired because of all the unique suits and great artwork. :)

Posted 14 years agoSo the journal title trend seems to consist of faces and then "AC year" haha. I don't update this much sorry.
Already trying to make preparations to go to AC this year. (For an artist who's bringing things to sell, you have to prepare way in advanced XD) Also making a new suit to debut as well. I'm moving slow but I'm moving.
Anyone interested in any con badges? I haven't really done them in the past (except for friends) but they're pretty fun to do.
Also, anyone know where to buy cheaper individual prisma markers? Like...dare I say, even $2something each? They're so insanely priced at art stores ugg.

Posted 14 years agoOh wow! I sure had a blast at Anthrocon this year...I think better than last year. I wore my new Brook (shark) suit and lots of people just loved it and took lots of pictures. Please if you took any of me send them to me! I didn't get to take any of my own :'| I got more art in the conbook, the front cover of the program guide and some guy from a radio station interviewed me. (Which I KNOW I sounded like an IDIOT) XD One guy was even SUPER awesome and drew me (in suit) like over 10 pictures. I couldn't believe how cool he was and I tried to repay him with a sketch from me but it was silly and crappy and I felt bad. I wasn't even terribly sad that only a couple of the art pieces I brought sold in the art show (though I was hoping I wouldn't have to lug alot of art back home XD ) Overall, I had a super great time!

Here's an idea I've got floating around in my head..I will be attending Anthrocon this year (also my first time..) and I was really curious if anyone might be interested in badge commissions. I've not tried them before but it sounds like fun. I was thinking of charging around $15 or so to keep em cheap and I'd meet up with you and give them to you while at the con. Anyone interested? Maybe I'll try to whip up an example to show what you'd be getting soon..
