I'm fucking thirty and I cant admit it publicly because I"m terrified I'd lose my home because my parents own it/ live next door. Thought I"d pitch a little journal for my favorite furry hangout on the internet since things are getting a little crazy here on FA.... https://www.reddit.com/r/furry AKA /r/furry! Its a very friendly subreddit with a moderately large userbase that is (unless tagged) is very clean and well managed. You can show off your art, have fun discussions about furry things and occasionally otherwise and generally have a fun time. Also the coolest thing about /r/furry is EVERY single user has the opportunity have have their own custom flair besides their username. You can make your own or just wait until someone posts up they are making them and almost always for free. I dont think I"ve seen another subreddit that offers that level of customization. It is fine to post commissions availability so long as it isnt done enough to be spammy. So feel free to come on over and have some fun!

Finally got it paid off. I feel sooo much better now! Thankyou to all that commissioned me and helped out! Now to build up the bank account again! XD Health is improving, on a diet, and the RL job is far less stressful then it was before. Hopefully I can get the etsy shop up soon now that life isnt trying to crush me. XD I'm still open for all types of work from full illustrations, blobby badges, and sewing goodness. Might make a few pokemon tails for fun if anyone is interested in cartoony style fleece tails.

I received news last night that my father's dog passed away after a stroke. I"m rather depressed so if I owe you anything especially paid stuff expect a small delay. She wasnt my dog or anything but she was family and really helped turn my father's life around at a hard point. I will miss happy dopey Pika. She was a sweet and quiet corgi/whippet/lab mutt that loved nothing more then being with my dad and chasing turkeys and trying so hard not to go face first down the stairs. She had had a stroke a couple of years ago and had been a bit ill since but we never thought it would be so soon. She was only ~9 years old.

Wow! Creeping up close to the 100 mark! How exciting! Just thought I'd say hello to everyone and thanks for taking the time to see my artwork. :) I'm still learning a lot but the past year has seen a TON of improvements, with the bulk being in the past few months. My RL job is finally calming down a bit so expect more arts and craft stuff. As for the Etsy shop... well I"ll get to it when I can. My health is still not 100% and maintaining that thing is a chore. Ok kinda derailed the train last night but all the commissions are done. Shipping will be no later then Monday. If I can talk my SO into going to the post office sooner then it will be sooner.

Well ok not really. HOWEVER I work retail. Specifically in a grocery store bakery. Work has been insane trying to make all the candy we need especially since people keep buying it all up! Its rolling a stone up hill.

What this means is I'm going to have issues doing commissions quickly. Now I have a few days off coming up so the Blobby badge batch will be finished tomorrow and shipped out very soon. I will open up for the next batch shortly. Also the next themed special will open up once I can make 1 or two examples. Batches may take more then a week to ship however. Valentines is the last of the nasty crazy holidays at work for a while though! Easter is never too bad so should be in the clear after that. :)

Hazzah! The art block monster has been defeated. I can draw again. I feel soo much better. So now I want to grow as an artist and really make this a thing. I know I wont ever have a huge following but I appreciate every one of my commissioners and have a TON of fun making every single badge and artwork. So I figure I"ll run theme sales and whatnot to drum up a little business, pay off that nasty last hospital bill and have fun doing it! So I need theme ideas. Themes will run for a few days at a tie and will be discounted. I get to draw a theme over and over to get lots of practice in and commissioners save money! Its a win win! So if you have a suggestion please comment. :) Especially if its something you'd be interested in. It should be noted I will be most familiar with nerdy thing.

My ideas so far:
Raichu Day is going to be every 26th of the month. Its a special day for the 26th pokemon and my favorite Raichu! Any fursona can be turned into a Raichu or pikachu for a total discount. Transforming into another pokemon has the extra work charge removed (so long as it isnt a complicated pokemon like some are otherwise a small upcharge is applied for the extra time.)

Caffeine theme. I want to do a caffeine theme. Something jittery and java themed!

Star Trek theme should make a come back eventually. Probably with TNG or other series available this go around!

Blobby Badges will be a continual thing but I only take 5 at a time before I close for a tiny bit to get them done.

Heart Huggers will come back! They need a bit of work to get packs together of the premades on Etsy but they are still available for custom work for $5.

To take things more amusing for something so boring please read the following in the voice of Stephen Fry or Morgan Freeman. Your choice.

1. Payment method.
All payment will be handled through paypal unless other discussed arrangements have to be made. Prices are listed and expected in USD. If you'd like to purchase a hat or other hand made apparel the sale will be handled through Etsy, unless there is a VERY good reason not to be.

2. Payment timing.
All payment should be upfront before I start working on a project. Your project and timeslot will be held for 24 hours at which point it can be bumped for a paying customer and sent down the list. If there is a good reason to hold your spot please discuss with me first. I'm pretty reasonable but I wont start unless I've been paid.

3. Alterations.
Any artwork $20 and over can request a mock up sketch. Feel free to ask at time of commission. Otherwise I leave it up to you to tell me what you expect out of the artwork. Custom hats and apparel will always come with a sketched mockup. After the art is done I allow minor alterations (different eye color, mixed up color placement on a scarf, ect) to correct mistakes. No pose changes or drastic chages will be made without additional charges. Make sure you are thorough in what you want.

4. Rights and display.
The commissioner gains full non commercial rights to any artwork and apparel I make. They may post the artwork anywhere so long as a link is provided back to the original. This includes Facebook. You may not claim it as your own artwork. You may not alter the image and claim it as your own. (If you want to print it out and doodle a mustache on it or something go for it. However dont claim that as your artwork.) Do not make memes out of my artwork without permission. Please ask before paying anyone else to use my artwork in any way (such as paying someone to make a t-shirt out of it, tattoos, or anything like that. If you are ironing it on yourself thats fine as long as you tell people who ask who made it). You may not make any money off my artwork.

5. My rights of usage.
Unless there is request and agreement I retain displays of all artwork for use in gallery and advertisements. There will be a small upcharge if an artwork is to be kept completely private. However I can delay posting and displaying an artwork for a time if requested (if it is a surprise gift or the like).

8. Refunds
I do not refund on artworks once started unless there is a VERY good reason and I do not refund at all once completed. Please be committed to purchasing your artwork when you place the order.

So.... Still recovering from being sick but after switching my diet and work schedule I seem to be doing a TON better. Cutting out the energy drinks has helped a ton. Only tea for the chu now. Lots and lots of Rose and Earl Grey. :D

Soo...... I have a bit of a backlog building up. I owe a few freebies out, a redo on a hat and of course the monthly conbadge exchange. Hopefully I can get to them soon. I got rather sick after Fangcon and it caused my permanent sinus infection to flare up again. If you never had a sinus infection count yourself lucky. The nausea is unbearable. Caused me to call out two separate times at work. Now I have a bit of artist;s block probably from being depressed over being sick. Rules:
Must be feral or open to cartoony interpretation. Would like to do a western dragon or kirin if anyone has one but any species is fine. Also colorful characters. I love colorful characters. I also REALLY REALLY love drawing pokemon.
You may suggest a theme that isnt too complicated. I like to draw nerdy things.
I dont mind avians, ponies or dragons but overly complicated wings may be simplified. I havent drawn taurs before. Request at your own peril.
I keep rights to display image for advertising purposes. Use in visual ads, links to explain style and even printing out and displaying at conventions. I need more examples.
You must have a reference image that I can use.
Also as a disclaimer I dont draw hyper or anything over PG except for cartoony character appropriate gore (like blood and stuff is fine if your character is like that). I dont mind cybernetics and robotic parts but I may simplify it to suit the style.

Ok.... I admit it. I cant freakin draw hands. I try and try but unless I"m looking at a direct reference image I cant do it. Paws? Fine. Talons? Fine. Human style or hybrid hands? Nope. I've been struggling with this for flipping YEARS. If anyone knows any decent tutorials please help. I"ve tried looking, using a hand model, sitting for hours practicing.... nothing helps. If someone can finally help me through my last great art struggle I will pay back in spades.
