still alive, still not much active with uploading stuff
Posted 9 years agosorry for still being inactive, I should really draw and show more stuff.
funny, last year I wrote a journal in december about probably being genderqueer / non-binary ... this year, I can confirm, yes, I'm non-binary trans. not sure which direction this will take.
still have not tried to get in touch with local furries. they're very low on my priority list, I'm mostly being busy with karate, queer tech meetups, queer jewish meetups and other queer activities - I'm trying hard to finally get into the queer scene. I had none in my previous cities and now I'm searching for other non-binary people and save places to hang around and just be myself and find people like me ...
as soon as it gets warm again I'll be probably looking for drawing meetups again. rawr.

I'm fine, living alone is great, work is fine.
I think I'm genderqueer / non-binary and I'm really fed up with trying to fit into the female appearance that everyone was expecting from me, so now I'll try to find my way of expressing myself.

does that happen to you, too?
you draw a bunch of sketches, trying to develop a character in a cute style, later you vary that to try and get a more realistic look, then someone asks you of drawings of that character in the cuter style and you already forgot how to do that because you have already moved to an other style. and then you have to analyze your own drawings (that aren't even that old) to nail that cute style.
do you know that feeling or is it just me being unflexible?
it's not like it happens often, but that's one of the reasons I struggle with commissions and requests.
EDIT: so what I meant basically is drawing a sheet full of different poses and getting a feel for that character, like http://animexx.onlinewelten.com/fan.....63737/2498061/ and http://animexx.onlinewelten.com/fan.....63737/2498829/ (both art I didn't upload here yet, I'll do it later)
and then later I'll try another style and people will ask for the older, "cuter" version and I'll have trouble remembering how I did it a week ago

started bujinkan ninjutsu training - it's twice a week. less time for drawing, but it's good to do some kind of sport
work is still good
I totally fell for Steven Universe, so if you have some time, give it a try! every episode is just 10 min, so you don't have much to lose. it starts like a normal cartoon but it will get deeper and better and... it's really good!

the new job is really good and I cant wait to have a desk again and be able to draw
Berlin is full of action so I spend more time going to events with friends than drawing or checking websites like FA so if I don't answer, try to contact me somewhere else
