General | Posted 15 years agoI'm wondering out there, how you make an effective gauss rifle.
The problem it seems to be, is how do you make what is essentially a very slim fast dart, penetrate things (armour, and fleshy goodness) whilst imparting enough damage to make big enough holes that put the persons you're shooting in a world of unpleasentness.
One possibility I have considered is the base of the dart itself, is designed like a dum-dum round, so when the round penetrates, it pulls in the arse end which, expands/shatters/makes a bigger hole on the way in.
But of course, It's up here for the expressed purpose of asking for help.
So I ask, for help with these ruminations.
