What Could be Worse?
Posted 14 years agoI took my car in to the shop to get an oil change and a general checkup before taking the 14hr round trip to Pittsburgh for AC.....and my transmission is fucked up. I can't drive it. It's prob not even worth fixing. It's a 1996 Honda Civic DX....15 years old. Worth no more than $1500 at this point. FML.
I don't know what to do. I have no money. Now it seems that I have no car. I'm freaking out right now...It's not just AC...it's not having a car at all! =.=
I hate my life right now. There's always something popping up to ruin a good time.
I really hope a miracle happens. I need one.

Posted 14 years agoI had a slightly embarrassing blood donation moment a couple of years ago. I saw someone leave their (locked bc they're not supposed to leave the store!!!) target shopping cart a mere hundred or so feet from the curb, so I grabbed it to put it back out of other cars' ways and I hit into it with my leg. Ouch! After I moved the cart back, I noticed my thigh, where I had hit it was half covered in blood. I was wearing my favorite pants! I ran into the mall (where I used to work), holding my pant leg off my thigh, walking as quick as I could to my store so I could wash my pants and assess my damage. I was dripping blood through the hallways and through my store. I even got blood on my store's bathroom doorway. I ran into the bathroom without saying anything, and ripped my pants from my body, only to see that my leg was barely even scratched. WTF?! I then looked at my finger, where I received the prick for the mini blood iron test, and saw that the finger was the asshole bleeding all over myself. THAT TINY PIN PRICK! If I never held onto my pants, I never would've continued to bleed all over them. I was in the bathroom for at least 20 minutes, scrubbing them with the shitty factory ordered hand soap, and a couple coworkers were knocking the door, worried about me bc all they saw was me rushing through the store, covered in blood. My angry cart grabbing totally opened the flood gates to my tiny finger hole. XD
Oh, and yes...I saved my pants. There's not even a hint of a stain on them. <3!

One problem....My ex is also friends with him. That's actually how i met him. I really want to go, but I also need to avoid any stupid drama with my fat headed, fat bellied, stupid asshole ex. And this kid thinks I want his pathetic ass back. HAH! Can and have and will continue to do SO MUCH better. :)
But me ranting about my ex isn't the purpose of this post. I would reeeaaalllly love to have a date. It'd make me feel more comfortable, safe, and it'd help keep any drama about my ex thinking I'm some sort of freako crazy ex gf at bay. I just wanna have a good time and whatnot. Oh well. I doubt I'll have a date. I shouldn't have to depend on that anyway. I'm awesome on my own! He better watch himself, or I will most definitely tear him a new one, right in front of everyone there. Posted 14 years agoI just woke up from an awesome 4 hour nap. Yes. I was that tired today. I don't know why...I guess I was just mentally exhausted from the past two, poopy days, and it turned into me being feckin TIRED!
My dream involved me, my friends Andrew, Brendan, Natasha, and my assistant manager, Joe.
Andrew, Brendan and I were finishing up a shift at work, and it was packed as all hell, I was on the phone with a customer flirting and chatting while not really working, and the other two rounded everything up.
Then the two of them, Joe and myself all teleported into a different dimension that we use to get away from everything and let loose. How you get there, is you have to pull on your inner lower eyelid. It's kind of an inside out thing...so we teleport there and it's a pure white, huge never ending room. It's just an open space.
Natasha also seemed to be there. Suddenly someone knocked on a door that wasn't there before, and Joe opened it. The door was then bifolding closet doors, and giant, creepy as fuck looking, fake mascot giant headed santa was there, and all I could do was run back and shriek my ass off. We all laughed about it afterward...apparently we're still in the real world, but anything we see and speak to is twisted as shit, although it's actually normal.
Then we hear another knock and we hear Natasha's dad's voice. We all huddle together, giggling about what we're going to see this time. NATASHA'S DAD LOOKED LIKE HIS NORMAL OL' SELF! And all of us screamed and laughed. Her dad is scary enough in reality it seems! hahaha XD

So You Were Pretty Crazy Today :(
Posted 14 years agoSo today was a pretty tough day. It started out alright...Fell asleep around 2-3am, woke up for an early work meeting at 6am. We met up at 8am and it was pretty informative. Got to work at 9:20am (LATE! THANKS DISTRICT BOSS!) and started the work day. Boy was there a lot for me to do. I totally got overwhelmed and didn't do as much as I could have. It just slipped out of my hands. But I kept my cool and tried really hard. It turns out I didn't do as bad as I thought in the end...but it was still sucky.
ALSO. It should've been an easy 9-5 day, but my ASM called out, and so I pulled an Iron...which means I worked from 9am-10:30pm (usually 9:30 but I'm still getting the hang of closing myself).
Then I spoke to my failure of a coworker...let's call him Stan. Stan is just about fired, for being a shitty employee. He's great with sales, but he's constantly late and he just doesn't seem to give a flying fuck about it. He let's it happen again and again and sometimes he's a couple HOURS late. He's crazy defensive when you try to talk to him and he feels he's ALWAYS right in what he thinks and does. He needs to check his ego and get a smack to the face. Bitch, you are NOTHING. You fail at the simplest fucking task....BEING ON TIME. And then when I try to help you with kind words, explanations to things and advice, you get all uppity and combat me, and you keep interrupting me so I can't finish a god damn thought. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN FOR ONCE SO YOU CAN LEARN!!!!!
One last shit thing to add for today.
My grandmother, who lives, and has lived right around the block my entire life, is extra crazy today. More than I've had the displeasure of witnessing. Her brain is melting...well, it's actually hardening, according to her doctor. So yea.....she's called me at least 10-15 times today.
She's been getting the days mixed up...called me her niece. Doesn't remember how to get here even though it's
A. around the block, and
B. She hasn't driven herself anywhere in at least a year or so.
She doesn't realize my phone is a voice mail...she thinks I'm there and not talking, or that there's an operator. She was really bad today..and just now. kept asking me where she lived.
OH LOOK! She just called me twice in the span of 60 seconds. I just spoke to her not 5 minutes ago. And now to listen to the voicemail....Yup...my voicemail is an operator and it's "imperative" that she speak to me. I JUST spoke to her.
I'm starting to lose MY mind. I fucking cried when I was getting off the phone with her before. I don't cry...very rarely...especially not when it comes to family ordeals. I'm usually really cool, calm and collected.
I'm done with today.
Tomorrow (6/9) is my birthday. I may have to break something if anything goes wrong. Today was bad enough...tomorrow MUST be awesome. It's got to be!

Fursuit Cravings
Posted 14 years agoSo I'm pretty much dying for my true fursona to come to life. One of my best friends already started a sketch for me a few months back, but it never saved on my phone, and it's just that...a sketch. Yap still lives up in my head. I'm not even 100% sure as to what she truly looks like. Yes, she's a grey, purple and black sabre tooth cat, with a little cute stubby tail. That much I know, buuuut yea...I'm dying for her to be born! I also really really want to have a full fursuit of her. That's my dream come true. I wish my friend didn't have so much commission work (well I don't really bc it means awesome money for her), so I could bug her enough to get her to finish that damn feline! Then maybe I could narrow down my list of fursuit makers and really start thinking about commissioning someone so my dream can become reality!

Posted 14 years agoI haven't been able to fall asleep at even close to a normal time since FA:U. My mind is flooded with too many things and excitement for AC. I've also been sick for a week straight, and was getting sick the week before. FA:U ruined me, but I don't regret it. X3

I think I'm sick. I guess these 3-4hrs a night sleep for over a week have finally caught up to me.
MY ENTIRE BODY HUUUUURTS. I hate being achy...especially since I still hurt from that car accident 2 months ago.

FA:U 4...I can't see straight
Posted 14 years agoThis was my first ever furry con, and I had the time of my life.
It was so much more than I could ever expect. I met so many cool people there, and hung out with some great ones who I'd like to know for a very long time to come.
I was only creeped on by two individuals, which is great! Just enough to feel special, and few enough to not want to run out of the building screaming. I honestly was barely bothered by it. You're going to run into some 'special' people wherever you go, but you're never going to meet people more welcoming than at a furry convention.
My friend bailed on me due to work, so I ended up going alone and roomed with a friend I don't know hugely well, and despite that, it was awesome. It seems that when I go somewhere alone (Rammstein concert and this), I meet the coolest people, and establish awesome friendships.
I romped around in Tilly, and also out of suit, and was even a participant in the fursuit games. I had never used a razer scooter in my life...the few bruises on my left leg and ankle are definite proof of this. It's all good though, it's fun to document little injuries! lol is that weird? I find it to just be a part of living and it's worth remembering. You usually have the best times when you get the worst bruises!
I got very little sleep, but was the most awake I've felt in weeks (except for Rammstein...sorry XD). I've actually been awake for nearly 24 hours straight today. I left the con at around noon yesterday, and went straight to work from 3pm-10:30pm. Then I burst into my friend's house and hung out with her till about 4:50am and have been at the computer since about an hour later. I woke up at 7:30am, and then again an hour or so later...I couldn't fall back asleep for SHIT.
I can't wait for my next con (I want to go to AC, but the hotels are booked!! *sad*)
I already miss all the awesome people I met this weekend.

I got very little sleep, but was the most awake I've felt in weeks (except for Rammstein...sorry XD). I've actually been awake for nearly 24 hours straight today. I left the con at around noon yesterday, and went straight to work from 3pm-10:30pm. Then I burst into my friend's house and hung out with her till about 4:50am and have been at the computer since about an hour later. I woke up at 7:30am, and then again an hour or so later...I couldn't fall back asleep for SHIT.
I can't wait for my next con (I want to go to AC, but the hotels are booked!! *sad*)
I already miss all the awesome people I met this weekend.
Thems are just a few of the people I've been lucky enough to meet and become friendly with. :3
FA:U Excitement!!
Posted 14 years agoI'll be getting to FA:U tomorrow early afternoon! I'll be walking around as Tilly (yellow/purple mutt) most of the time if I don't overheat bc I can't really breath through my nose in her. The head is a tad bit tight, but I'll be looking into making her head a bit more roomy...at least my nose. lol But I love her either way! It all comes with the territory. Especially when your suit was pre-made and auctioned. I didn't actually commission her.
ANYWHO!
I'm mega excited for this weekend, and I'm not even sure what to expect really. I've never been to any sort of furry convention. My friend Tash backed out on me too....She forgot and couldn't get off from work. The whore-face. At least I'll be meeting up with a friend there! I don't know him crazy well, but he's a cool guy. And there will be 2 beds in our room. hahaha
Any advice on what I should do/expect there?

NEW FURSUIT!!
Posted 14 years agoI got my partial in the mail!!! Well, most of it. The arm sleeves are still being done, but I got it!! SO EXCITED!
I was so excited that when I put the head on, I pulled out both of my nose piercings. I only found one. Hahaha

I can die happy.
Believe it or not, the sound was amazing at the show. I heard every word and my brain was able to register every note. The sign of an amazing band with the best of equipment and staff.
Killian (the girl with the extra ticket) turned out to be a pretty cool chick. We got along really well and had a great time together.
She and I met two pretty darn good lookin blokes. One was German and the other was Swiss. They're from there. And living in Boston. They were pretty tasty. Looks, personality, and such....They were very likable. I gave them a ride to their MegaBus in Manhattan. Killian was there too bc she lives in the city, so I gave her a ride too. It was so much fun! Even more so after meeting them during the break between Combichrist and Rammstein. She and I gave them our numbers. After we said our bittersweet goodbyes to them, she and I were all like "aww I hate goodbyes!" And so (with a little courage push from me), we turned around and ran back to the bus and wrote down our names and numbers on a paper for them. X3
They will do with them what they wish. But she and I made that leap and did it. If nothing comes of it (which I'm pretty sure that's what'll happen), I'll still be happy and extremely proud of us for doing that. It takes a lot of courage to do something like that. Especially since we were halfway down the block and literally had to jog to catch the bus before their doors closed.
BACK TO THE CONCERT.
There were two mosh pits going on. One on either side of me. XD I didn't participate, but I there's still consequences of being too close to a pit. There's the falling push, where the entire crowd is forced in one direction together, all of us nearly falling and stepping on each other. I got elbowed in the head by some Brazilian dude who was also practically rubbing himself on Killian and I as he danced. Gross. And I also got stepped on twice. One was right above my bad ankle!!!! But I'm alright. It was worth it.
I had such a great fucking time tonight.
Oh yea...And a raccoon or some similar animal literally ran into my car as I was slowly going around one of those stupid U-Turn things in NJ. The poor thing. It hit into my car so damn hard. I thought I ran it over. I stopped my car and looked in the mirror to see if it was dead. It was laying there, on its back, totally stunned for a couple of seconds and then it got up and ran off into the night. I hope the poor little dude/dudette is alright. It's definitely hurting, but I hope that's it. I still feel so so soooo bad. frown
In conclusion:
RAMMSTEIN. Spend your money. SEE THEM. It's more than worth it.

Posted 14 years agoEver since I shaved one of my cats (Tula), my other kitty (Athena), won't stop growling at her. They're both really fluffy long haired felines, but it's not like I haven't shaved them before. Athena is supposed to be the smart one! What's up with her!! lol This bitch better calm the eff down and cuddle with her sister like they used to.

I again have reached a cloud 9 like mood, and BAM! My check engine light turns on when I'm on my way home from work. I doubt it'll be nothing. Anyone willing to donate some $$ if I have to get any repairs? I'm way too broke. A diet of cereal and peanut butter sandwiches is no fun! lol Oh well...Just have to keep my chin up high as I can.
