Commission price increase

Pokemon Nuzlocke?
Posted 4 years agoI love -LOVE- the concept of pokemon nuzlockes and wanted to complete one for a long time now but I'd want to do some sort of project with it as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have at least one game in every generation, might go with a classic but I'll take suggestions (not doing SwSh or SunMoon though, any generation before that is fine!) But anyways, would love to hear any ideas you guys have what I can do with it.

I added a new form to the trello TOS that MUST be filled out when applying for an offline commission.
Since I am moving very soon (in the next week or so), there might be a bit of delay in responses until I am settled in, just as a heads up!
I will be accepting 2-4 commissions this time, good luck!

The new year is coming!
Posted 5 years agoAnd this year is coming to a close soon.
That said I need to plan for what stuff I'll be doing next year concerning my art. This year has been hectic and I think perhaps doubling my stream load was a little much to deal with so starting next year I'll be doing 3 scheduled streams rather than 4. I will definitely be keeping Friday and Saturday as most of my viewers love those days, so either sunday or wednesday will be off. I'll still might have some random unscheduled streams though whenever inspiration hits or I am dragged into one with a friend.
Considering other stuff for the new year... I know I'll be moving in the next couple of months, we've got the keys to the new place on christmas day but I still have my lease to run out and fam will be going ahead of me. It's in a great location and I'll be having my mum and george (her bf) there with me so I won't be alone in the house anymore. The place is twice as large as my current apartment and has one of those shopping centers a little walking distance away so that'll be good to get some exercise in during the non-winter months. Also cheaper rent for me! :D
If anyone has any suggestions for me in the new year considering my artwork and my career as a full-time artist, feel free to share! I'd like to be able to make this next year even better!

I just got back from my progress exam with the chiropractor and I am proud to say I am doing even better than last time! My side posture is nearly perfect but my front still needs some work (I still have a tendency to do an s shape lean). My muscle stress on my back is a bit higher than last time but the doctor figures it is because I am using muscles that are not accustomed to proper posture, since I've mostly been in a terrible state for several years. I have been assigned more exercises to help me strengthen these core muscles and I believe the end of February will be my last exam to see how I've progressed and if I will be needing more treatment.
This has been great so far and thank you all for the well wishes!

Update on health pt 3

Yesterday I had my first progress report on how well I am recovering and great news, I am doing phenomenal since my first visit! I have successfully recovered about 50% compared to the usual progress of 20-25% of other patients after this first short time. My posture has vastly improved to the point I can actually stand without pain for a much longer time, prior to my injuries I had issues standing and walking for longer periods simply because of it feeling as if my spine was crushing itself. I still have a long way to go but this has made me hopeful for the rest of the care I need to go through!
I figured I would give you all an update on how I am doing thus far and thank you for your support <3

Update on health pt 2 and Changes to commissions
Posted 5 years agoHello folks! I have gotten done with my big adjustment today and I am officially able to sit at my desk! YAY! :D
We went over the issues today and it does seem to be a problem with one or even perhaps multiple discs in my lower spine but most of my issues seem to stem with my neck ( causing the rest of the spine to adjust for that and developing ones of their own). I am considered a moderate case at this time (severe when I first entered) and will need to have 4 months of chiropractic care. The good news is that since my spine is still really healthy and not having any degenerative issues, I can make a full recovery. I'll be re-assessed in 4 months time if I will need further chiropractic care but once that is done then comes with phase 2 of my health program.
I'm sure you understand that with this comes more bills... as such I will need to adjust my prices to pay for the medical expenses.
Currently I have adjusted Sketches, Shaded Sketches and Colored Sketches to be 5$ extra for the base price and additional character fee. At this time I will not be applying an additional cost to the other commission types. For egg adopts, I will be raising the price from 80/110 to 90/125, which is still discounted off of the regular price of a colored sketch.
I will also be attempting to take more breaks during streams in order to walk around and stretch a bit to make sure this does not repeat itself. If you are one of those that like to frequent my streams, feel free to poke me about taking a break if I've been slacking, I know I get into the art mood sometimes and don't pay attention to the time!
I hope this is not too much of an inconvenience to my loyal and supportive peeps. Thank you all for your understanding and stay tuned for streams coming to you soon! ;D

Posted 5 years agoThank you folks so much for the get well wishes! It's been a few days now and I have limited information at the moment but I thought you all deserve an update.
I have seen the chiropractor twice now and will be seeing them again tomorrow for a much bigger adjustment but so far I am responding well to the treatment. I am still mostly bedridden but I am able to get up and walk a bit now without too much pain, however sitting at my desk is still off at this time.
I will be getting a doctors report soon but what they suspect is that the accident I had about 2 months prior is to blame and something set off my spine last week (I bet it was groceries) made the recovering bones and muscles fuss up which explains my current issues. I will keep you guys posted when I learn more.

Posted 5 years agoSorry to those who wanted the monster month commissions but I need the weekend off as I am currently bedridden. I have booked an appointment with a chiropractor but the earliest they can get me in is monday morning. Hope you all are having a better weekend than I am!
