EF27 Was Amazing
Posted 2 years agoI might have destroyed my knees by dancing like 16 hours in total (still hurt now, painkillers help). But I have met so many amazing people and the whole experience gave me a whole new outlook on the fandom and everything!
I really fell in love with Horny the Incubus, watching the stream from home, when taking a day off, to not dance for 4h the third night in a row, and even met him, as the very last thing, when we were all getting kicked out, after the BigBlueDance!
Might've been the climax of the event and such a happy end and great finishing shot, for what was my first time.
Felt just like Timmy in Demonormicon! Thank you, Tsuki!
(Danced @ BBD like 6 hours non-stop, which gave my legs the rest, I think.)
Winter Owl did an absolutely amazing badge of my sona on location, and while we had 3500 people there, I somehow kept running into a little herd of wonderful people, that were so much fun to hang out with and were dope on the dancefloor!
Also I accidentally ended up front and center with Uncle Kage at the end of the 'Your first con' security panel thingy, looking at probably 200 people, because of mic issues (and probably on stream, I actually had the mic cause I got a question if we can see the footage from these lovely camerapeople somewhere - cause I can't be at the con, doing stuff, and watch EF Prime at the same time - but sadly didn't really get an answer yet)
Bought some lovely things at the Dealers Den, but didn't take one of these little duckies that were everywhere! Also sadly didn't win that bat kigurumi. (Close tho!)
After finding the fandom ~15 years ago, the con is finally close to me, and it was such a fantastic time!
The PawPetShow was sooo good!! And yes! All cats truly are beautiful. I shed tears at so many points and felt a whole bunch of emotions that I think I never had in that combination before.
I definitely need to come again next year, and maybe dance a little bit less! (I probably won't learn...) ^v^
