GT WRAP-UP
thank you all so much for such a successful event this year, every single sub, favorite, comment and commission meant the world. while the workflow improved since last year, unfortunately I feel I'll have to retire or heavily limit event Illustrations going forward. it was doable back in 2023 when they were few and far between, but after that year both the quality and the demand became too much for a daily event.

no solid decisions for next year have been made yet, but for now, enjoy daily posts for the rest of the month. all of you made it possible. 🧡


NOVEMBER WAITLIST / SMALL ART COMMS OPEN
now with Goretober done, I have begun contacting those on the waitlist to get ducks in a row and ready for November. until then, I'm taking the week off from large projects for Birthday/holiday reasons!

in the meantime, I will be taking small art comms such as stamps, trinkets and icons, ych sets like dead heads and roast feasts included! (order forms in descriptions) turnaround times should be nice and speedy again once payments are made ~


TOS REMINDERS
just some updates and elaborations on my terms since I encountered these several times during the event.

- FERALS AND QUADRUPEDS IN GORE/SNUFF/NSFW SCENARIOS: since the beginning, this topic is greylisted and requires context in order for me to accept or deny. I am much more likely to accept when the quadruped is a fictional/ fantastical species; Dragons, Centaurs, species that are originally bipedal but have alternative quadrupedal forms such as Transformers (since those happen semi-regularly for example), are acceptable. meanwhile, quadrupeds that portray real life feral animals will NOT be acceptable for gore/snuff scenarios.

Regardless of the difference, NSFW imagery such as genital alts for ANY quadrupedal bodies will be rejected. these are my boundaries and I will continue to enforce them.

- REVISIONS AND ADDITION REQUESTS POST-PAYMENT: while this happens few and far between, it's happened more lately and I must remind those that I only take THREE revision requests. this doesn't mean a limit on the amount of fixes required in an image but the amount of revision stages requested.

I am a Procreate user and my workflow is not the same as those with other programs. I have LAYER LIMITS I must account for and it becomes very difficult to go back once the color/render/polish stage hits. because of this I encourage EVERYONE to give ALL revisions/fixes AT ONCE and AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. this goes for alt version requests as well, your project should be FINALIZED by the time first payment is made.

tldr: after some thought there's gonna be small updates to the TOS with SLIGHT price adjustments. and surprise, Gorin' Time begins early for Pastreon/Substar members!!

I only have 25 out of 31 GT prompts made, so if you got ideas you'd like to see, feel free to let me know through my suggestion tally!

T.O.S
- comms will have a limit of THREE REVISIONS (excluding prolonged projects like custom designs and comics); not the amount of changes in the image but the amount of requests made. this is to prevent excessive revisions as I prefer being given all fixes at once.
- commission prompts are finalized after the first payment is made, meaning I will not be accepting drastic or entire changes to the prompt due to my prices being heavily based on the prompt's contents.

COMMS
- Char Badges are now going to be called Stamps in hopes to give the name to Convention Badges in the future, and adjusting from $20 -> $25.
- Char Scribbles are tentatively keeping the name for now (entertaining "Trinket"?) but the price adjustment is $30 -> $35.
- any themed Stamp+Scribble combos will be bumped to $55 (dead heads, roast feasts, etc), keeping the five buck discount.
- the additional hour price for customs is adjusting from $20 -> $25 idk why it was outdated this long, I'm TIRED.

hello everyone, doing a quick tldr update since I'm currently away on vacation and couldn't update beforehand.

TURNAROUND TIMES
kind've an open secret my turnaround times have shot up due to the assortment of events the entire year so far. unfortunately that won't be lightening up any time soon due to taking offline jobs for extra moving cash, the August move (house) and adjusting afterwards. so far, turnaround times are 1-4 weeks, but I always try to be prompt and update clients accordingly. starting early July I will be taking up my Halloween retail job early, which will continue to cut into my art flow. thank you all for understanding.

RIP LANCELOT (PET DEATH)
I had a very unexpected death in the family just days before the june 22nd vacation from a sudden and rapidly escalating disease in Ball Pythons. I miss him dearly and I thank you all for your patience at this time. in memory of this wonderful little man, all qualifying Sticker Club letters and Etsy shop orders will receive a bonus Lance sticker while stock lasts. ⚔️🕊️

since Retribution Beach is on indefinite hold, the big comic streak ends with Crack of Dawn's last page on Friday. any future comics will launch on fridays when they come ~

good evening, just a couple important notices since my TR times have slowed considerably and it's probably time to explain.

TEMPORARY PART-TIME
as of some weeks ago, art's not my only job anymore and I'm doing a (kinda) part-time housesitting for family friends who need extra help and I need the extra cash. that'll be taking up next week's time/energy and likely for a while after that.

JUNE VACATION
from the 22nd-28th this month I'll be away on family vacation. not much there but drawing's likely not gonna happen much during that week.

MOVING HOUSE
tldr the "big costly things ahead of me" announcement hinted previously is that I'm going to be moving house in late August. on top of everything else, my offline days are exhausting n busy preparing for that and will likely be that way until things settle down after the move. however we're hoping this move will improve my overall environment/health to continue art things without such a heavy leash. key word is Hoping, but the move needs to happen regardless.

'RETRIBUTION BEACH' COMIC PAUSE
due to unforeseen financial circumstances on the client's end, the comic after CRACK OF DAWN due to release on July 4th is now on pause until mid-July. the inks are all done but we're unable to proceed for the time being.

with all that said, I'm going to be kicking into high gear this week on art since I'll be far less free the two weeks after, and with the current comic paused I'll be notifying those on the queue very soon!

good afternoon! I have a question I like to get some feedback on. lately I’ve had requests to reinstate Velvet tier onto patreon, however it can’t exist cause patreon doesn’t like sexualized snuff content, thus why it was nuked and substar was created.

naturally way more folks have patreon and want to be velvet tier members, so I’d been thinking of ways to make it work while complying with patreon. the main idea is have it be discord-only content and simply advertise the content on platform, however only a fraction join the discord so I wonder if there’s gonna be any grief for having that extra step. (and that extra step being two steps because of the portal server).

I suppose I’m looking for more opinions since (presumably) my audience might be familiar with this if they support similar artists, and what they do about this.

this guy was first designed in 2018 and it really showed, but now that I'm a lil established I wanted him to match the vibe. the goal was always being amorphous in design and True Neutral in character, only this time I wanted to incorporate some recent "branding" as well just emancipate them to his own thing rather than being a direct sona of mine. new hair, EARS, new browns/oranges/reds color palette inspired by the Gorefolio site/Gorin' Time's logo, and a proper semi-real style revamp. goodbye scruffed comic features ~

FIRST SNUFF COMIC AUCTION?
In addition of Moose's revamp I have an idea to do a lil Name reveal in the form of a multi-character comic! in addition to basic one-off ychs I hope to start offering short story/comic ychs. since it's experimental and look to have it done in my Illustration Style, I'm doing it as an auction. four spots total! will be working on that and hope to launch in the coming month or so!

Synopsis: Guess this lil 5-letter word, or hang! four individuals play a game of hangman with deadly consequences. down to the last two letters, the final pair depend on the next guess to survive. (they won't 🧡)

firstly I just want to say, thank you. the support in the last year especially has been incredible. thank you to everyone who commissions, comments, watches, pledges and even reposts. I'm growing steadily and it's all thanks to you guys.

with that being said and without getting into details yet, there's some big (and costly) things ahead of me. since Condemned's down to the last two pages, I decided to release both today and have the new comic start releasing next week.

on the topic of comics, now that I’ve got a bit more experience with em, I feel it’s time to price em proper. adjusting my prices typically happens once every year or so, but this year I felt it strictly with comics. that being said, my other menu items aren't changing and will remain their current prices. one tiny change is because I realized the base price of custom character designs was old/outdated, so it's new base price is $85 for 4 hours.

as for comics going forward, the hourly wage format will staying the same but will be bumped to $25/hour flat. (comics currently in queue are grandfathered with the old 20/hour price) thanks so much for understanding and for all the support, you all make this possible ;;

that's it! there's simply too many factors to give proper price quotes including characters and all their complexities, the number of characters present, the outfits they're wearing, the props present, overall setting/bg details present, the length of the story, the number of panels present on a page, any rendering or added highlights, shading and after effects, the art type present(doodle or illustration) and all it's complexities, and more.

(prices are only ROUGH ESTIMATIONS taken from previous comic projects and may not be what your project will cost!)
DOODLE STYLE: $75-120 per page
ILLUSTRATION STYLE: $250-460 per page
(current price statistics: 2/2/2025)

— Comics will only paid via Hourly Wage until completion. (Procreate’s canvas timer is used to keep track of time spent on a project)
— MUST have a reliable messaging platform such as Discord or Telegram. If a project contains characters owned by other people, group chats containing everyone is preferred.
— "Production" begins after full discussion is done and first payment is made. All commissions will be put on hold and any backlog will be finished first. Once started, the comic will be the only focus until completion. Everyone involved MUST be present/active during production time.
— During production, payments are made in increments of 3-6 hours for Doodle comics or 6-12 for Illustration comics as they're needed.
— Everyone involved will receive full-res and any other files via Discord/Telegram DMs or Dropbox.
— Do not edit my art without permission. Asking to make minor edits later on is okay and free of charge unless it’s time-consuming, then it may inquire further payment."
