Wanted: Unrigged 3D Models

This is a pretty specific notice, so feel free to ignore if you don't know what you're looking for. But I'm slowly learning to rig stuff. I'm making modest progress but it's cool to breath life into a static 3D model. I've got my own projects queued, but I'd also like to ask my friends and fans here for some leads. If you see a cool 3D basemesh or character online without a rig, feel free to leave a comment! I'm always on the hunt to add more characters to my toybox. It might even end up in one of my renders. You all generally know what kind of characters I like. I also wouldn't mind experimenting with porting stuff from SFM either. I'd check out character if any of you pointed me towards a SFM download page. Small disclaimer, however. This isn't a "request" post. Please don't come in expecting to get paid a finder's fee! I'm just a novice trying to cast a wide net.

You Wanna Learn Blender? Check This Out!
General | Posted 5 months agoI've had a few people approach me in comments or private messages asking to help them learn more about Blender. The problem is, I'm more of a student than a teacher. But if any of you were really serious about learning to use Blender, there's a huge educational bundle that's only available for a few weeks that I wanted to share. I plan on picking this up myself because it's packed with a ton of subjects that I planned on learning in the future. I Am Still Your Friend

You may notice that my profile page looks a bit more bland than it used too. Replacing a wall of profile icons for a handful of links. There are two reasons for this. For one, my friends list is getting longer and longer as time goes on. Kinda started to feel bad about possibly leaving people off that list on accident. So I just decided to clear it entirely. But just know you all still mean something to me. Even if we haven't communicated for a while. As for my "inspiration" list, I thought it would be a little odd if a view saw all these amazing anthro artists on that list. Only to see my profile was full of 3D forests. Although my artistic priorities have changed a little, I still look up to all those great anthro artists that continue to inspire me.
Aside from all that, my display name has changed ever so slightly. Just to stay more in line with my "YES" branding. Though I doubt anyone would be confused by that!

I hate to say it but I won't be engaging a whole lot on there. I have some pretty strong feelings about Twitter and they're generally negative feelings. But its still a place with a lot of reach. And since I've been dipping my toes in actually modeling and sharing Blender projects, I guess I've gotta spread out a little. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces there!
Toby Fox made a FOOL of me.

So I finally played Undertale recently. Delightful game. But more importantly, I found out that Toby Fox is a FIEND who uses DIGITAL TRICKERY to pull at my heartstrings. I am of course familiar with all the characters going into it. A good friend of mine warned my about how easily the Toriel fight can go south. I also had everything up to Undyne spoiled. But beyond that is was a fresh experience. A rather moving one, I'd say. But then... I got to THE END. I thought there was gonna be some sort of trick. Some mind game I wasn't getting. The references to my several deaths made me think this was another 4th-wall breaking pacifist shtick. But I broke and finally looked up a hint. I had to fight. So I did. And I won. It didn't seem very pacifist to me. So I watch as the character before me rationalizes their actions. And lays out the "good" ending for us both.
But of course, Toby Fox is a FIEND.
So now I have to go back to the Underground. Because I need a good ending. A real good ending. So much work I need to do is now on the backburner. All thanks to that scoundrel, Toby Fox.

A Note to the Artists I Watch

If see this account because I've watched you, I just want to say: I watched you because I genuinely enjoy your art. I've noticed a trend of people watching/faving artists just to draw traffic to their own page. Its not the most heinous thing, but it can be discouraging in my own experience. Even if you don't think your art is very good, I still look forward to seeing you improve. My end goal is to reach this same artistic caliber as my favorite artists. But in the meantime I'll still appreciate the work you put out in the meantime.
