THE MAIN PART OF THIS UNIVERSITY NIGHTMARE IS BEHIND
The term paper has been written and approved by the supervisor (there is no news yet about whether the defense will take place), the first part of the diploma has also been written and approved
I still have exams ahead of me, but they won't be half as hard as this (and will most likely be automatically credited to me for doing well in university overall)
Finally I can start drawing and doing my other stuff in peace, god it's been a tough month
For now I'll start warming up with some personal sketches + I'm participating in secret santa and have to do some work there (but I won't be able to show it to you until the new year), so yeah, things are getting better
When I start doing the works that are currently in the queue, I will open commissions again!

In Russia, testing of a closed Russian Internet is underway (thing similar to North Korea). Nothing foreign will work on such an Internet - Telegram, Google, games, all of this will be banned completely, and, according to rumors, even VPN does not help. At first, I did not believe it, news about such total Internet isolation has been circulating from time to time over the past 10 years or so, but now in Chechnya, Dagestan and somewhere else, natural tests of this bullshit have been taking place, and I have seen the words of residents from there that this is really so, their phones literally become useless, because nothing works. People cannot even prepare for exams, because neither search engines nor the sites themselves work for them (and of course, our domestic sites do not have enough information for learning, I say this as someone who, in order to write her term paper, now turns on VPN on half of the sites to get the necessary information, and probably 80% of my used sources are written in English). Of course, our people are used to finding a way out, and maybe, if this does happen, we will be able to live like the Chinese - they have some kind of bypass hole into the general world. But for now we can only hope

Bad news: at the moment, my only working vpn has died. Is it a temporary failure? I don't know, I doubt it, given that the government now forbids us even pronouncing the word "vpn"

Also, sometimes the FA itself does not work for me without a vpn, not always, but sometimes it requires it, a couple of times a day, and so at such moments I will also lose connection even there
I'll try to find a new working vpn, but right now even the search forcibly doesn't write you results so you can't install the vpn. So for now, I feel helpless

Little update. I think I found a new VPN for the browser, but it is very bad, well at least it allows me to go to discord. However, I still ask you to contact me in discord only if you have absolutely no other way to contact me, since I can disappear there at any moment and will now check messages extremely rarely

I've returned to some calm life. I've relatively finished the theoretical part of my coursework (I still need to correct some things, but it's more or less ready), its practical part remains, and I'm starting to collect material for the theoretical part of my diploma. However, I'm doing things slower than I thought, so I still can't start drawing. The most I'll do for now will be some sketches for myself, so I don't forget how to hold the stylus xd

I... I don't want to die. But in recent years, almost every new day and its news scream at me that the chances that I will live a calm long life, that I will see other countries, find my love, my home, are approaching zero. There is now a threat of nuclear war and World War III.
And if someone starts to hit Russia with a nuke, I am relatively close to Ukraine and Moscow, and it is quite possible that I will end up in the affected area. Am I scared? Fuck, I can't even describe in words how true this is. Can I do anything? Hah, no. I won't be able to move, especially since it is generally impossible to say now which city in Russia will be "safe", not to mention the fact that I can't leave for another country. And, probably, from this hopelessness and constant worries against the backdrop of the war in recent years, I don't even have the strength to panic. If it will happen, then it will happen, I can only hope that at least death in this case will come to me quickly, so that I won't have time to feel anything. Of course, I don't want this, but you-know-who didn't ask our opinion when he hit the button. I guess I'm in that state where I really hope that everything will be fine, but mentally I'm starting to prepare myself for the fact that I could just die any day. I'll just try not to think about it and... Live the way I've been living, writing my term paper, playing games, drawing art... Do what I would always do.

I've been thinking about this idea for many months, and I'm finally ready to make a decision. FOR NOW, I'll remove all art awards from all Boosty subscription tiers, because I simply don't have the strength and time to draw them, given that subscription tiers are of almost no interest to anyone anyway
I will also forcibly unsubscribe from them all who currently have an active subscription so that they do not continue to pay if they are not satisfied with this decision now
Things I also think are important to note:

But we all know that there are problems with Boosty and Hipolink now, so many people have troubles with payment. I'm not afraid to say it here, I fucking hate our government. It's fucked up. It's a huge fucked up. They blocked Discord for violating some laws, basically the same reason why they blocked YouTube, Twitter and literally anything else. Translated into human language, "we just want you to use only Russian sites where we control everything and know all your information"
At the moment I can't access discord even through vpn. I was told a way to temporarily bypass the blocking with dpi, like we do with YouTube, but I'm too stressed to do it right now. So I want to notify everyone here, and please, this is very important: spread this everywhere you can, because this concerns any other Russian artists too
We can't access the discord right now, although it's likely that many communicate with their client base there. If you have a Russian artist who owes you art (like me) or you just care about them and want to continue the conversation, check their FA profile for other places to communicate besides discord

Aaaah, getting back to studying is always so hard after summer
It seems like you've already gotten used to going to bed at 3 a.m. and waking up at 12 p.m., and you rest peacefully for the rest of the day, contentedly eating small prey (working), and now you have to get up at 7-9 a.m., you go to bed just as late because you can't fall asleep earlier, and then you immediately drag yourself along the HOT street to the university and then back, coming home already in a state of "aaah, I just want to eat and sleep..."
