Wrestlemania 28 aftermath, plus RAW! (SPOILERS WITHIN)
Posted 13 years agoWARNING, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILT BY THE RESULTS OF WRESTLEMANIA 28, PLUS THE FOLLOWING NIGHT'S RAW, CLICK BACK NOW!
With that said, I loved Wrestlemania 28 as a whole, it was very captivating, and for the most part, kept me on the edge of my seat as I was watching with Shaun.
Now for all of those who did watch it, yes I know, the 1st hour was........disappointing. Mostly because of the opening match. Sheamus squashing Bryan was very shocking and it left a sour taste in my mouth, but I believe they have something going for it, which I'll touch upon in my mini review for raw. Props for the crowd with the YES! signs though!
I was very surprised about Kane going over Orton, but it goes to show that Orton is a good worker that puts others over when needed. Nothing else to say about that really.
Why did the Big Show win?? He really didn't need it. Props for him completing the Grand Slam, but still, Cody is worse off for it, and Big Show is about the same.
Divas match...........really nothing much to say........the faces win.
Hell in a cell match.....MATCH OF THE NIGHT!!!! Seriously, all 3 of them have worked their arses off, and as Shaun can testify, I was completely hooked, even though I had a good feeling who was going to win. Seeing Undertaker going 20-0, as well as Shawn, Taker, and HHH giving each other a 3-way bro hug, made it so beautiful....
Team Johnny and Team Teddy was another match I couldn't really care about, but it was fun! Plus Ziggler really takes bumps so well! We'll have to see how the new general manager of both shows handles the next month or so....Shame about Teddy though :(
The right man went over in the WWE championship, but Jericho still wrestled a good match. Seeing Punk win despite the newly added stipulation made me smile, as I like Punk as champion. Hopefully he'll be champion for months to come!
THE ROCK WON! THE ROCK WON! THE ROCK FUCKING WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now that I got that out the way, what a match! While I'm not putting it as match of the night, it was still spectacular to see Rock and Cena give their all. It was also ironic to see Cena lose, after everything he said. The inner mark in me cheered for the Rock when he won, but I was so surprised at the same time! Such a great way to end the show!
RAW!
The best raw I have seen in.......a very long time. The crowd were hot throughout, and it seems like the "YES!" meme will live on! Rejoice! It was so funny seeing them booing very loudly for Sheamus, the new World Heavyweight Champion. Lol at Del Rio, his gimmick is exactly the same, noone cares.

Wrestlemania 28 is upon us! Predictions within...
Posted 13 years agoWell, Wrestlemania is on tomorrow from 12am-4am, and I think it'll be really exciting this year. This will be my 3rd live WM since Shaun re-introduced me to WWE in 2010 (ironically at WM 26). So with that, predictions!
Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali, and Booker T) (with Hornswoggle) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz, and Drew McIntyre) (with Vickie Guerrero) - Twelve-Man Tag Team match to determine General Manager of both the Raw and SmackDown brands.
This is one of those matches where actually it's hard to call for me, because Johnny has become a decent heel authority figure, while Teddy has been in our hearts for years, and hey, SOMEONE's gotta make those tag team matches! Team Teddy has their work cut out from them, as the other team have former World Champions at their side. But in my opinion, unless Teddy plans to retire, he has to win in order to stay on TV, as Johnny will most likely continue to appear as the Talent Relations regardless. So my vote goes to Team Teddy.
Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos vs. Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres - Tag Team match
A match that I don't care about at all. It's a shame, as when Kharma was around I had hope for the Divas division. But alas, we get the celebrity match which potentially won't involve the celebrity at all because Maria injured herself. Kelly and Maria to win.
Randy Orton vs. Kane - Singles match
This match could for all I know be an instant classic, but the build-up was just bad. I mean, Kane was angry because of a handshake? Ah well, it's Kane, he doesn't really need a reason for a feud. Orton will go over though, getting an RKO from a Chokeslam reversal. Vote goes for Orton.
Cody Rhodes © vs. The Big Show - Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
I'm actually looking forward to this match, but also not looking forward to it at the same time. On one hand, I'd love for Cody to extend his reign, giving the IC belt the prestige it deserves, but at the same time I'm afraid the Big Show will squash Cody to bits. But this is a prediction on who I think is going to win, and I say, Cody Rhodes will extend the reign.
Triple H vs. The Undertaker - Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee
I'm really really excited for this match, and not just because I'm a HUGE Undertaker mark, and always enjoy seeing him wrestle. This match is also tagged as "End of an Era", but what does that mean exactly? It might give people reason to believe that Triple H will finally break the streak, but who knows... Despite the initial protests of him going against HHH again, I personally don't mind as they have worked well last year, albeit the slow start. Plus, Shawn Michaels is getting involved! Despite that, I have no reason to believe that the streak will end, so my vote goes to the Undertaker extending the streak to 20-0.
Daniel Bryan © vs. Sheamus - Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
I really hope that this match won't be the opening match of the show, like with Edge and Del Rio last year, but we'll never know till the night. That being said, while the build-up could have been better, I'm also excited for this match (you'll see a pattern here). These two were scheduled to have a United States Championship match last year, but it was dropped to the dark match, and now, we have a World Title match on our hands. While I really do like Daniel Bryan's work over the last few months, it's been ages since a Royal Rumble winner won the title at WM, and Sheamus has been really over with the crowd (myself included). Point goes to Sheamus becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion.
CM Punk © vs. Chris Jericho - Singles match for the WWE Championship
For one, I'm happy to see Chris Jericho back, as I enjoyed seeing him during his 2010 run, also when I saw remnants of him when I was a kid. Him going up against champion CM Punk seems like a dream match. The build-up was crazy, starting from Jericho's return, through the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber PPVs, right through the WM buildup when he got the #1 contender spot. This is between the two self-proclaimed "best in the world"s. Jericho making Punk feel vulnerable with his family's booze and drugs problems is also a nice touch. The only thing that irks me is that Jericho still has plans with his band Fozzy, and therefore I have no idea if he's going to be in the WWE full time after WM. For that reason, my vote goes to Punk.
The Rock vs. John Cena - Singles match
This is it. The big one. What could be known as the single most important match in Wrestlemania, no, WWE history. Two generations colliding, the Attitude Era, when I was first watching the Rock, and the current Era, where Cena reigns supreme. I always said I loved two wrestlers when I was a kid, one was the Undertaker, the other was the Rock. Despite one of his finishing moves, the People's Elbow, looking absolutely ridiculous to any viewer not regularly watching the product, to me, it's a big mark-out moment, where I cheer for the Rock to land the elbow. As you could probably tell, I'm going to root for the Rock, but that won't impact my prediction.
You see, Cena has been doing the rounds as the poster boy for the WWE for a long while now, and a lot of people hate it, feeling that he's too boring. He's basically like a modern day Hulk Hogan, overcoming the odds when they are stacked against him. But a match which had similar caliber to this one, was at WM18, where the Rock was facing Hulk Hogan himself. The rock at that particular time was like Cena is now, the new generation, vs. the old generation of Hogan. In that match, the Rock won.
While I would LOVE the rock to win in his home town, he doesn't really need to. He's done all he can, and while Cena has been a torch bearer for a while, he never really had to passed down to him. This, to me, is what the Rock will do tomorrow. So, while it pains me to say this, my vote for who I think will win the match, will be John Cena.
And that's it! I hope to be talking on Twitter and other means during the event, and I hope that this will be the best Wrestlemania yet!

The last few days I have been doing some proper thinking, reflecting if you will, about my time in the fandom so far, and whether it has all been worth it.
It all started around the time I started university 3 years ago or so, with various factors making me enjoy the fandom and making a character for myself. Funnily enough I have used my alias since 2004, waaaay before I even knew what furrys were about :P
I then started to go to meets earlier this year, to manchester ones, since I was still in university at the time, in which everyone there really made me feel welcome (you know who you guys are :P)
Over the past year, I really have experienced all sorts of things within this fandom, both good and bad. I always knew there was drama about, but perhaps I was naive at the time to realize the extent of some of it. From petty online fights, to incidents at meets, to an unfortunate passing of a dear friend. To say my experience was overwhelming is an understatement.
Now the golden question, is it all worth it? My answer overall is yes. Despite all the various things that occasionally bring me down, I can't deny the fact that I have made many wonderful friends through this fandom, of all shapes and sizes xP. Everyone in Manchester and in London that I know well has really helped me feel welcome and I really do appreciate all the time I spent with you guys.
It's no secret that I'm not always sound of mind, and there have been actions that I have done that I'm still wondering wether I regret doing them or not, but all in all, I'm very happy, and I hope to continue to achieve my life goal to make everyone I know as happy as they can possibly be.
Another person I need to thank is my partner, Shaun. He may not be furry, but he has been the most wonderful man in my life, and has stuck with me for the past 3 years, and have always been accepting of the furry stuff and me being completely insane. This one is for you my love <3

The last few days I have been doing some proper thinking, reflecting if you will, about my time in the fandom so far, and whether it has all been worth it.
It all started around the time I started university 3 years ago or so, with various factors making me enjoy the fandom and making a character for myself. Funnily enough I have used my alias since 2004, waaaay before I even knew what furrys were about :P
I then started to go to meets earlier this year, to manchester ones, since I was still in university at the time, in which everyone there really made me feel welcome (you know who you guys are :P)

First day at work!

Settled in well, am glad they have free fruit! Plus tea/coffee of course.
Was a very big office! Imagine the IT crowd, but on a larger scale, and on the 1st floor instead of the basement :P
Gonna have to do it again tomorrow, so hope to not go insane before the week is out! =D

Job interview at Sega....
Posted 14 years agoSo yea, I applied for a game testing position at Sega Europe (yes I know, it's not all that easy) a week or so ago, and had the tests/interview today!
Had to do three 45 min tests, one on playing Super Monkey Ball DS as fast as you can without dying, one on a written test based on screenshot bug-finding and english/maths/science and finally on finding bugs during gameplay (game was The Club)
5 were cut to 3 (I was part of the 3) and we then did a group test and a one-to-one interview.
I think I did really well! Fingers crossed.....

Posted 14 years agoI am officially a Desmond (in other words, I got a 2-2!)
I'm very pleased with this result, considering the various circumstances of my life and the fact that Music Tech was a new area for me going into the course. With this I can hopefully continue to make new music and perhaps much more!

Posted 14 years agoSo my university career is over....3 years of Music Technology in the bag.
How well did I do? I won't find out until the end of the month at least, but I think I did reasonably well.
In any case, it has helped me produce music for me to share here, which makes me happy.
Whatever my result, I just hope you guys enjoy my work, and I'll continue to make more :)
