Due to various international circumstances, and I've always hated Patreon for stalking artists' social media accounts, so I deactivated that account. I also wanted to avoid putting my artwork in places where algorithms could find it, so I destroyed my DeviantArt account. I also disabled my art accounts on Bluesky, Instagram, Threads, and Facebook, and set up dummy accounts on various social media platforms by hooking them into search engines.

In the end, I'm not personally skilled enough to manage multiple social media accounts, so I thought it would be better for UX to keep my activity, both for updates and for Watcher, in just a few places. So...

Going forward, I'll be consolidating all of my activities centered around my personal website.

First to say, I’m sorry for that. :(

I will not be able to accept commissions for a while. I am currently attending a Job Training Office every day,
and there is a government rule that prevents me from receiving even a dollar of earnings while I am there,
which is frustrating, but I will abide by the rule.

Finally, in a year or two, I will get a job at a company that allows me to have a side job,
so I will resume commissions at that time, and maybe open a shop at that time.
For now, I will focus on production and make products secretly...

Give it a few moments and I'll apply Glaze and Nightshade to it, then replace it with a new one coated with Artshield.
I also created a new watermark, so I'll want to set that.

After that, I will repost about 3-5 pieces of art a day on FurAffinity (to prevent flooding).
Bluesky will basically upload the art as soon as I process it.

Due to various circumstances, I switched from Microsoft Windows, which I had been using for many years,
to Manjaro KDE OS (Linux). Modern Linux is quite compatible with Windows apps, so it is very comfortable.

Steam games also work without any problems as long as I configure them properly, so I had no worries.
I also had a hard time with SteamVR, but it finally worked.
Most of the assets I bought on Windows are still on Windows, so I will try to make them work on Linux somehow.
Art-related software in particular may be a bit difficult, but I think it will be fine.

Now, I understand that you can't access my old art publicly because I deleted my DeviantArt and Pixiv accounts. For now, I have stored all of my old art, over 1500 pieces, on my Discord server.
However, I know some people don't like Discord servers.

My current carrd's social media links are mostly small.
I only have two, bluesky and Fur Affinity.

I love Bluesky because it's easy to upload, but I still want to use FurAffinity as a gallery, so I'm wondering if I should randomly upload my old art to FA.
You might be wondering why I don't do that, but it would be really painful for me if the same artist's (my) art was stuck on New Submissions forever.

So, taking that into consideration, I'm currently thinking about whether I should upload it to FA or to another site.

For an artist who has lived in Japan since birth, can speak Japanese natively,
and lives in Japan, to do this, especially if you leave the centralized Twitter, is "social death (in Japan)" and literally a suicidal act... but

I'm glad I did this, because I was heavily dependent on social media for my art production.

I spent a huge part of my day on social media. This is horrible.
Social media addiction was really troublesome. When it was bad, it even appeared in my dreams at night.

I deleted my Twitter account a month ago, then deleted the app,
but after recently destroying my DeviantArt and Pixiv accounts for A/I Slop reasons,
today I took the plunge and destroyed my Instagram, Threads, and Tiktok accounts.

Right now, I'm doing my best.
Regarding my mental health, I've made a big recovery...I no longer feel depressed or anxious.

I may choose to basically go offline outside of FA, but more than as an artist, as a person,
I want to get more in touch with nature in the outside world and recover my physical, vital, mental...various parts. And I want to do that and stay healthy.

It may be hard to break free from addiction... but there is definitely evidence of social media and mental health, so if you are interested, please look into it.
