Archetype Informer: Toons
Posted 10 years agoHello fellow duelists, an welcome back to Archetype Informer! Today we'll take you through a land of zaniness and unpredictability! A world you'd only see in your dreams, a world of TOONS
Toon monsters are widely know for their ability to attack directly at the cost of a few Life Points. They're also a bit overlooked because they have to wait a turn before attacking, and most of them destroy themselves if Toon World is destroyed. However, with the release of a few new cards to their ranks, they're starting to become more of a force to be reckoned with, so lets tackle them head on!
MONSTERS
Toon Masked Sorcerer
Toon Gemini Elf
Toon Cannon Soldier
Toon Goblin Attack Force
Toon Mermaid
Toon Alligator
Toon Dark Magician Girl
Toon Cyber Dragon
Toon summoned Skull
Toon Ancient Gear Golem
Toon Barrel Dragon
Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon
Manga Ryu-Ran
SPELLS
Toon World
Toon Kingdom
Toon Table of Contents
Toon Rollback
Shadow Toon
Comic Hand
Mimicat
TRAPS
Toon Briefcase
Toon Defense
Toon Mask
Now, Toons are a deck that don't really have any combos you can string along. Its very much a play-by-ear-deck, where it has a central strategy and you do your best to keep said strategy going. That being said, it DOES have access to a few cards that can help speed it along:
1.) Summoner Monk:Since most Toons are level 4, this card an grab them really quick. It also aids with them having to wait a turn to attack, since you can use your next turn to summon a new Toon and use the one you specialed to battle (as well as tin your deck some, or make an XYZ Summon)
2.) Terraforming: Toon Kingdom is the big go-to card for this deck now since it offers them destruction protection. So you can use this to get it, and Toon Table to grab your monsters
3.) Reinforcement of the Army: Toon Goblin Attack Force is the only target for this, but still worth running one or two so you can get it faster, or pitch it for Summoner Monk
4.) Magician's Circle: Since a good chunk of Toon Monsters are Spellcasters, this card can help fetch you another one as you attack
5.) Forbidden Chalice: Negates the effects of your Toon monster so it isn't destroyed if Toon World is, while also increasing its ATK for a turn
Another nifty thing about Toons is that their summons are treated as a Special Summon. So, you can summon more than one in a turn (thought the higher level ones still require a tribute, in which Scapegoat can be recommended for them)
All in all, Toons are very nifty slice of nostalgia that have gotten a recent boost. They can be quite fun, so give them a try if you haven't already~

March Madness Tournies (Round 2)
Posted 10 years agoHello folks, this is
here,
hardcoreacolyte wanted me to post a few updates really quick. We would like to apologize to our tourney players for the late round 2. In addition the tourney is under my management as Hardcore is a bit busy to manage it.
In addition to this the TCG/OCG Tag team tourney is cancelled, my apologize to our tag team players, but the cancellation was brought up by Hardcore himself. New pairings are posted for round 2 TCG/OCG singles. New Round postings will be posted on 3/28/15.
Rules (Single):
---- Constructing and Usage.
1 : Make sure your deck is TCG or TCG/OCG formatted, using cards released to us and/or exclusives only.
2 : Any OCG cards including the Extra deck, Main deck or even the Side deck found used or in play in a TCG only duel, the player will take a loss on that round of the match and must have the card(s removed from the deck. ( Same rule applies for unreleased cards as followed. )
3 : Make sure your deck is 100% before play. If you forgot any card(s) to add to the deck and want to change them, you will not be able to do so. Once you enter the duel, it's final.
4 : (NEW!) We have the right to ban any archetypes or cards that are a potential hazard to the game. If that happens, you must accommodate to this until further notice.
---- Members and code of conduct.
1 : No insulting or name calling . That goes without warning, if done enough, you can be banished from the tourney if it continues.
2 : Don't be salty... and by that, don't lose then be disrespectful or " I woulda won if " moment. Just play the game and have fun. As a fair warning for those non meta players, this is a meta tourney on a huge scale, play what you know and go with it.
3 : Netdecking has always been an issue and officially it will happen despite standings. Just be prepared for anything or that specific deck. Don't call your opponent out for net decking just cause you cant win or it's an issue or deck yours cant handle. ( Ex Traptrix/Artifact ).
---- Yugifurs Specifics
1 : Be sure to post on time and to play your matches on time. We have problems in the past of people not posting their matches so now we have a few different solutions.
- Players not posting accurate scoring will be penalized.
- Players not playing their matches or not responding to player duel request when ready will lose the round.
- Be sure to schedule matches if you have busy days, schooling or etc so you can plan accordingly. Make sure your opponent agrees to the terms. If time cannot come to an agreement, contact an admin. Make sure you have time to spare before entering this tourney.

Archetype Informer: Yosenju
Posted 10 years agoArchetype Informer is here again, and this time its a requested group fo cards that are being covered: Yosenju!
This deck is a series of cards depicting weasel-like creatures based in Japanese mythology. They're all Wind-Attribute, and their main focus is repeated Normal Summons with the ability to Pendulum Summon on the side. The main strategy is to summon the level 4 monsters to use their abilities in conjunction with each other to inflict damage and send cards away, while also searching out other cards to aid with more Normal and Pendulum Summons
The big drawback to this deck is that, while it can be very fast and has several ways to directly search out key cards you need, it leaves you with a bare field at the end of each turn. So unless you are able to fend off attacks through the use of Trap Cards or this deck's version of Battle Fader, you're going to be losing Life Points as fast as you can take them yourself (Luckily, with as fast as this deck can be, and with a few staples, that isn't always an issue)
Now, onto the cards themselves!
MONSTERS
Yosenju Kama 1
Yosenju Kama 2
Yosenju Kama 3
Yosenju Magat
Yosenju Tsujik
Yosenju Misak
Yosenju Oyamabiko
Yosenju Kodama
PENDULUMS
Mayosenju Daibak
Yosenju Shinchu L
Yosenju Shinshu R
SPELLS
Yosenju Training Grounds
Yosenju Tornado
TRAPS
Yosenjus' Secret Move
Yosenju Realm Whirlwind
Now, these guys DO have other strategies they can use. Since the main aspect is to spam Normal Summons and send cards away, you can utilize this and other combos with their support to also send your opponent's cards away so the field is more even and you have better control. This can be tricky to pull off, though, so the following cards might be able to help:
1.) Fire Formation - Tenki: Almost all of the monsters in this deck are Beast-Warrior, so this adds more consistency
2.) Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear: Pretty much a staple if you add Tenki. Same with Tiger King, use Bear to send used Tenkis away and get more Tenkis, and Tiger King to get Tenki (and Fir Formation traps should you choose to use any) These are the three staples most add to any Beast-Warrior related deck
3.) Quill Pen of gulldos: Speeds up the returning process, but also effects your opponent too
4.) Genex Ally Birdman - Allows for Synchro possibilites. this deck uses Normal Summons, so you don't have to worry about losing field advantage due to this guy's ability
5.) Pot of Duality: Allows for more speed, and since Special Summons aren't the main focus of this deck, you don't have to fret about this Spell's drawback
6.) Lightning Chidori: Should you find yourself in need of extra assistance, this guy lets you clear your opponent's field a little easier, allowing for less interference with your plays
So, these guys are certainly interesting. Even if they're a deck with only one or two ways to utelize them, they're fun and a nice way to get away from the usual Extra Deck focus that the game seems to revolve around these days~

March Madness Tournies (Round 1)
Posted 10 years ago-- Rules (Specific Tag Rules)
1 : No "Ancient Leaf". It's too common in tag duels and it will not be allowed for this. If "Ancient Leaf" is in the deck, the team will lose the round.
2 : Double decking is an issue in tag duels. So here is how we will classify a double deck. If your deck runs at least 20 cards that are the same cards in your partner's deck, then it is double decking. We want players to play unique and skillful decks that can help one another out. Playing the same deck is boring and no one wants to play them.

March Madness Tournies (FINAL CALL REPOST!)
Posted 10 years agoHeya! So we are going to do something different that we don't usually do in regular tournies. From now until whenever, OCG is allowed in tournies! So we will have three different tournies: TCG only Single duels and tag, and TCG/OCG singles and tag. If you want to play in TCG only, please post in your response "TCG" and if you wanna play TCG/OCG, use "TCG/OCG".
For example, if I wanna play tag in a TCG only status, I would reply "TCG Tag".
Since we are playing OCG cards, the TCG banlist still applies, so nothing in the OCG banlist will be affected. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Rules (Single/Tag):
2 : No arguing or posting threats, insults or anything else on the yugifurs page or journals. You will get a warning and if continued, a week ban from the page.
3 : (NEW!) Players must duel a week prior to the round posting. If one or both duelists are non-responsive by the deadline, they will not receive a win in the first offense. If it happens a second time, they will be removed from the tourney. Please try to plan accordingly and commit to dueling. If time zones are a conflict, let the admins know and before the round posting, we can accommodate you to a duelist close to your time zone.
Rules will/may be added or changed though final once the tourney starts.

March Madness Tournies (PLEASE READ NEW RULES!)

Archetype Informer: Empowered/Summoner
Posted 10 years agoToday on Archetype Informer, we'll be tackling a group of cards (and those related to them) that are a bit more flexible in their design, and have several different ways to make a deck based on them: Empowered!
Based on Saban's Power Rangers, these guys focus on a variety of different effects, mostly adding or Special Summoning Normal Monsters from your hand or deck, as well as adding said cards to your hand and limiting the opponent's field. Lets go over them:
MONSTERS
Aether, the Empowering Dragon
Arnis, the Empowered Warrior
Hydrotortoise, the Empowered Warrior
Terratiger, the Empowered Warrior
Ventdra, the Empowered Warrior
RELATED CARDS
Blue Dragon Summoner
Golden Dragon Summoner
Green Turtle Summoner
Red Sparrow Summoner
White Tiger Summoner
Now, I personally have been experimenting with these guys for months now, and have found a handful of ways to utilize them:
-EMPOWERED EXODIA-
All of the Summoner monsters deal with either adding or summoning Warrior or Spellcaster monsters. Since each Exodia piece is a Normal Spellcaster, Blue Dragon Summoner can nab any of them the second its sent from the field to the Graveyard. Combine this with Emissary of the Afterlife and Wonder Wand, your deck's ability to draw cards isn't just amplified, you can directly add each piece to your had except the Head. The rest of the cards help thin the deck and draw, and I've found this deck to be both effective and fun to play
-EMPOWERED PENDULUM-
While these cards don't have any Pendulum Monsters of their own, they DO have the ability to add them. Since the Empowered monsters add and summon Normal Warriors, Dragons, and Spellcasters, you can get instant access to Flash Knight, Dragon Horn Hunter, Foulcault's Cannon, and Lancephorhynchus. Also, since Pendulums go to the Extra Deck when used as Synchro Material, you can splash in Tuners like Galaxy Serpent or Flamvell Guard (which can be added or summoned via the Empwoered monsters as well), have your other materials go to the Extra Deck, then Pendulum Summon them all over again, turn after turn
Other Splashable cards for either of these decks outside of the usual are:
Summoner's Art
Wonder Wand
Millennium Shield
Chaos Hunter
Summoner Monk
Pot of Riches
These are just a few ways and cards that can be used together. There is a lot of potential with these guys, so if you want something that is both fun and competitive, the Empowered and Summoner cards might be just what you're looking for~

YugiFurs Q&A and Hangout
Posted 10 years agoHey everyone! So since the tourney for this month has been slow, I've decided to cancel to event as no one has participated in it for the past week. To fill in the rest of the month, we are gonna hold a Q&A session! For this to happen, you must add either me, HardcoreAcolyte or SyrusWolfos on Skype. We will include you in a group chat and have a get together. You can ask us questions, answer random riddles we may pass to you, duel, etc. This event starts now after this journal has been posted. Let me or Syrus know if you have any questions. In the meantime, have a good rest of the month!

February Tourney & I♥You Tag Event - Round 1
Posted 10 years agoBE Mine Regular Tourney
This tourney will be our regular tourneys. Which means it is a single elimination round with the best 2 out of 3 wins proceeding through. The same rules apply as always and they are listed below.
I♥You Tag Event - This is a DevPro exclusive event. If you do not have DevPro, you can download it using this link: (http://www.mediafire.com/download/n.....Pro+DevPro.zip).
Overview
This event is meant for players to duel with mates, BFF's, or teammates that they would consider a good partner. Players will duel other players round robin style and will duel each team at least once.
-- Rules
1. No "Ancient Leaf". It's too common in tag duels and it will not be allowed for this.

4 : ( PLEASE READ ) Artifact and Traptrix cannot be in the same deck in this tourney. Nothing truly wrong with it, but since the official world championships has passed and that deck did almost TOO good for its own good, the usage of them together is being limited to avoid copies of the WC deck.

February Tourney & I♥You Tag Event
Posted 10 years agoHello all!
February is the month for Valentine's Day. The day of love, gifts, and tag duels? This month we will have two tourneys! First we will have our regular tournament as usual. Secondly, we are going to introduce our first tag team tourney. This month is couples, so if you have a mate or a best friend you would like to play with, this one is for you! Test your teamwork and skills against other players. More information on the tag team tourney will be informed within the next few days. In the meantime, if you would like to participate, please comment below. If you would like to play in the regular tourney, reply with the words "BE MINE". If you would like to play in the tag tourney, reply with the words "I LOVE YOU". Your partner needs to reply below your post so that we can confirm who is your partner. They also need to say "I LOVE YOU". In the next few days, we will make another post with more information about both tourneys.
Thanks again!

January Announcements and G&C Tourney Winners (PLZ READ!)
Posted 10 years agoHello everyone, HA here! First of all, I want to congratulate our two winners for the Coal & Gift Tournies!
Coal Winner -
JimWolfie
Gift Winner -
spectrepaw
Congrats to both of you! As of right now, we have only one artist at the moment, so please contact
rose for your prizes.
To the real news,
I want to welcome everyone to 2015! I hope you had great Christmas break and I look forward to this new year. I want to address a few things in this journal and what to expect.
1. 2015 Admins/Moderators: As this is a new year, we must keep this page going strong. As you may have noticed now, we have new members joining the YugiFurs family. First of all, I would like to congratulate
spectrepaw for his work as a moderator. He has now been promoted as an admin now. Congratulations! I would also like to introduce two new moderators as well:
werewolfjedi5 &
samifur. The last person I would like to introduce is another person that also founded YugiFurs with me from the very beginning. His name is
white_wolfster and he will return as my partner in crime along with my vice admin,
syruswolfos. If you would like to congratulate our new members, please give them a shout out on their pages and via notes! Also, if you would like to apply for a moderator position, we would love to know you and consider you in the near future. Please send a note to an admin of your choice and they will get back to you ASAP.
2. Artists for YugiFurs: We only have one artist at the moment. We are currently looking for more that can help cycle the months of free art. For now,
rose is the main artist for tourney prizes. If you have an artist in mind that does free art, or can consider drawing free art once a month, please let any admin know so we can contact he/she, or comment to this journal below.
3. YugiFurs Cleanup - For this month, the admins and I will try to clean up this page a little, as outdated journals, information, etc. needs to be either updated, or removed. Expect a nice clean page soon!
Also as a final note, there will be no January tourney, as we are taking a break to allow the new people to get used to the page and also discuss plans for the future. We plan to resume again in February!
If you have any questions that you want to ask the admins/moderators, let us know in the comments below.
Thanks everyone!

Archetype Informer: Dark Magician
Posted 10 years agoWelcome back to Archetype Informer! We're going to go retro this time with a group of cards that's seem some recent developments: Dark Magician!
You know the drill, we tackle the archetype-related cards first (I'm tackling the one specifically relating to Dark Magician, ones that actually list him and his apprentice)
Dark Magician
Dark Magician Girl
Skilled Dark Magician
Dark Magician Knight
Dark Eradicator Warlock
Dark Sage
SPELLS
The Eye of Timaeus
Dark Magic Attack
Dark Burning Attack
Dark Magic Curtain
Knight's Title
Sage's Stone
Thousand Knives
Magic Formula
TRAPS
Dark Renewal
Eternal Soul
Miracle Restoring
Dark Illusion
EXTRA
Ebon Illusion Magician
Dark Flare Knight
Dark Paladin
Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight
Amulet Dragon
Now, there are a few ways to go about making a deck related to these guys. Usually people go for making the Fusions, which require Buster Blader, Flame Swordsman, and Timaeus. Using The eye of Timaeus is by and large the better way to go, but not the only way. Plus you can use a variety of cards to make an all Spellcaster build, maybe focus on getting Warriors and Blader to aid the Spellcasters. Either way, a few good cards for any of these are:
1.) Elemental Hero Prisma - Can make itself a fusion material listed in a Fusion Monster, so all you need to do is get the other material in your hand or on the field and this guy will help you fuse faster
2.) Magician's Circle - Can instantly summon Dark Magician Girl once another Spellcaster attacks. The attack doesn't even have to hit, it just has to be declared
3.) Magical Dimension - Helps summon Dark Magician or Dark Magician girl from your hand while also destroying an opponent's monster
4.) Pot of Duality - One of the few decks that doesn't necessarily need to worry about this card's Special Summon Drawback. Adds counters to Skilled Dark Magician while improving your options
5.) Summoner Monk - Helps get rid of Spells clogging your hands and brings out potential tribute fodder for your mages
The majority of this deck is about using one card at a time to search what you need or maintain your card advantage until you can make the right moves. As such a deck revolving around these guys doesn't necessarily have combos it can strong together, but it can still be fun to play. With all of the new support, the Dark Magician archetype is a lot more viable, and even if its just for a fun game or two, its certainly worth looking into~

For monsters it's the same thing, being a better effect, or stat/level increase or decrease. If you want to play on the for fun side of things, put a post down below with the word "Gifting". ( We can buff and debuff ANY card, do feel free to use something extreme like JD. We might even make it costless to play, who knows. )

Players are allowed to enter both tourneys as said before, so do keep track of WHO you are playing if you do decide to enter both. The registration ends on the 10th . These events are simple and fun so keep in mind which ones you decide to enter. Have any questions about the tourney or placement, even questions or problems, please contact the admins via FA or Skype. ALL TOA's apply here like all tourneys, so please be nice.
This is for you hardcore and advanced players loving using the meta arch types such as Qliport, Burning Abyss, Shaddoll and more. This will be a TCG meta tourney to show the up most skill and determination among the rest. This will be a single elimination tourney and will be played as the best 2 out of 3 on DN or Dev pro. If you want to enter the single Elimination tourney, post a comment down below with the word "Coal". ( You are NOT limited to entering only one tourney. When you post your win, make yourself a list for what tourney it was for. )

Gift Tourney ( For Fun )
In this for fun tourney on every round, each player will name a card out of their deck. Each card named will start out with a 3 star rating being the normal effect. We will have the will to downgrade or buff the card upon random ( Up to 2 extra stars for buff, or decreasing the rating by up to 2 for a debuff ), making the gift that much sweeter, or that much worst. ( Keep the gift receipt please... ) For example, A card like Monster Gate.
Example :
* ( Debuff Range )
Tribute 1 monster and pay 1000 life points ; reveal cards from the top of your Deck until you reveal a monster that can be Normal Summoned. Special Summon it, also banish all the other revealed cards.
*** ( Normal Effect )
Tribute 1 monster; reveal cards from the top of your Deck until you reveal a monster that can be Normal Summoned. Special Summon it, also send the other revealed cards to the Graveyard.
***** ( Buff Range )
Reveal cards from the top of your Deck until you reveal a monster that can be Normal Summoned. Special Summon it, also send the other revealed cards to the Graveyard. Decemeber Results - Tourney AND Fun Event
Posted 11 years agoHey!
So a few days ago, we asked you guys what you would like to do for December. A majority of you guys wanted to do a fun event and a few wanted to do both. So here is what me and
syruswolfos decided on. We will host BOTH a December tournament and a fun event for you guys! Here is what will happen. For those who want to participate in the December tournament, you will comment in a separate journal that gives more detail about what will happen. The same will occur for those interested in the fun event in another journal. These journals will be up tomorrow. So keep an eye out!
Thanks again for your input guys!!

December Tourney - Competitive or Fun?
Posted 11 years agoHey everyone!
So December is the last month of 2014. I'm sure a lot of people are preparing for finals or getting ready for the holiday break (which I assume 99% are wanting to happen for those going to school). Anyways, because this is a slow month, I want to propose an option for our monthly tournament. You can choose between the following options.
1. Competitive tourney
2. Fun tourney/Event
3. Both
4. Don't care
Between 1 and 4, please reply to this journal! We will tally up the numbers on Friday, December 5th! Other than that, tell us what YOU want to do for December.
Thanks!

MFF Tournament -Hosted by Ojikori-
Posted 11 years ago"Hello everyone! I'd like to hold a tournament for this group and fellow furs at MFF. I'm planning to offer 8-10 packs of "The New Challengers" total in prizes and while this is not a terribly huge amount of packs I will be holding this tournament for anyone who wishes to play for free. The format will be advanced format and I will be trying to hold this tournament on friday at 1 pm in the gaming area. I plan to have a single elimination tournament with all matches best two of three. Now sadly I will say that this tournaments prizes as well as holding will be based on the amount of people who are interested. No sense holding a tournament with less that 8 people. However if 10 people or more wanna do this I will be offering 10 packs as prizes. Six for first place and four for second place. So to anyone who will be at MFF and wants to play in the tournament please lemme know! I'd like to do something nice for the community here."
If you have any questions and want to participate in this, please contact Ojikori for information!

Archetype Informer: Orichalcos
Posted 11 years agoTime for a long requested edition of Archetype Informer! Also a partial joke edition, since this group of cards doesn't exist outside one of them. As such, it will be handled a but differently. We're tackling the power of the Orichalcos!
First of are the cards in the archetype:
MONSTERS
Orichalcos Kyutora
Orichalcos Gigas
Orichalcos Shunoros
Orichalcos Aristeros
Orichalcos Dexia
Orichalcos Malevolence
Orichalcos Mirror
Divine Serpent Geh
SPELLS
The Seal of Orichalcos Malevolence
Orichalcos Deuteros
Orichalcos Tritos
Orichalcos Sword of Sealing
Mirror Knight Calling
Now, the whole point of the deck is ultimately to stall with Kyutora and Gigas while you play each level of the Seal. You stall and beatdown with these two cards while gaining Life Points and negating your opponent's effects so you can eventually summon the Divine Serpent Geh and give it a crapload of ATK. The problem with this strategy is that, while your snake will likely be the strongest monster in the duel, it has no means of self defense outside of the Seal
Most of the time you can win with just Kyutora nulling all damage you take and Gigas attacking everything in sight. Anytime Gigas is destroyed it comes right back with 500 more ATK, and since Kyutora absorbs all damage, you can essentially make Gigas the strongest thing in play each round no matter what its up against. The only way to break this combo is to banish Gigas or destroy Kyutora via cards effect, but even that isn't a good idea. If Kyutora is eliminated after absorbing enough damage, it brings out Orichalcos Shunoros, Dexia, and Asesteros (all of which are always stronger than anything they fight)
Combine that with the Mirror Knight Calling which brings four Reflect Bounder-like monsters with the effect to keep their effects via Mirror, along with Malevolence which stops all enemies from defending, and you can see why these cards are NEVER going to released (unless they get SERIOUSLY dummed down)
This deck was on DevPro for a short period of time, and I don't think I ever lost while using it, nor could I ever find a way to beat it. It is a broken group of cards that are a LOT of fun to cause chaos with, so if you can get DevPro on your tablet or phone I highly suggest doing so because that's the only way to get the version that lets you use these guys~

YugiFurs Q&A!
Posted 11 years agoHello everyone,
As mentioned in the pervious journal, I am opening the floor to Q&As. Here is the breakdown on what will happen here.
1. You can ask any question you want. Do you want to know more about this page? Do you have questions for the admins or moderators? Questions about yugioh in general? Ask!
2. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Though if you are having a conversation that runs on through the journal, please take your conversation in notes, especially if it is a rant.
3. If you have an idea that you would like to share with the admins, please note the page and give as much detail as you can. Also personal messages should also be noted on the page as well if you prefer a one-on-one conversation.
Other than that, this will continue on until the end of November. As an added note, there will be a journal near the end of November that will explain our December event. That event is scheduled for Sunday, November 30th. Check back later for more details!
Thanks!

Number Hunters Saga / Sign ups (Final Notice)
Posted 11 years agoWelcome to the number hunters event. This will not be your normal event, but an event for the lasting. First things first. This event is exactly what you think it is, it's about collecting the most numbers, but not only for you, but for your team. This will be our first team event among the admins to use teammates and possibly tag duels ( Dev/YGO pro ) at your disposal. The team leaders will be the following:
hardcoreacolyte
Syruswolfos
werewolfjedi5 ( May be changed depending on activity or new teams )
Team captains will also be chosen to go with the team leaders who will be given more numbers than usual, more of an ace card for the team outside of the leaders. All Captains will get 2-3 numbers for use, as the members will get 1-2. If a player should be without a number, More shall be given from the leaders or captains if they are willing to give from the team stock, or their won numbers.
Each teams numbers are also balanced out so they each have main archtype numbers, and their own numbers for use so all teams will have equality. For example, Gimmick puppets, Heraldic and Chronomally... As they have the most Archtype in numbers so will be divided.
As for the team Vault or storage, numbers will be put aside if there are few players on the team or some you want to put aside for new and joining players. Make sure you know what numbers you give them and the skill level to use certain numbers so it helps them win. If other team mates want to share strats with the other memebers and help construct a deck with said number, that is fine. No, you are not allowed to choose whos team you want to be on as we will balance out all teams in skill level and casual fun. There are some special rules to be taken into this event with the addition of some additional out of place rules that will be listed.
Rules :
---- Constructing and Usage.
1 : Make sure your deck is TCG formatted, using cards released to us and/or TCG exclusives only in this event.
2 : Any OCG cards including the Extra deck, Main deck or even the Side deck found used or in play, the player will take a loss on that round of the match and must have the card(s removed from the deck. ( Same rule applies for unreleased cards as followed. )
3 : Make sure your deck is 100% before play. If you forgot any card(s) to add to the deck and want to change them ? You will not be able to do so. Once you enter the duel, it's final.
---- Members and code of conduct.
1 : No insulting or name calling . That goes without warning, if done enough, you can be banished from the event if it continues.
2 : Don't be salty... and by that, don't lose then be disrespectful or " I woulda won if " moment. Just play the game and have fun. As a fair warning for those non meta players, this is a meta event on a huge scale, play what you know and go with it.
Make sure you have time to spare before entering this event.
2 : No arguing or posting threats, insults or anything else on the yugifurs page or journals. You will get a warning and if continued, a week ban from the page.
--- Special Ruled EXCLUSIVELY for this Event
1 : You cannot use other number XYZ monsters than the ones you are given. If your number have a chaos XYZ, then you may use it as your own. EX: 101. You cannot use no Synchro, or pendulum monsters in the extra deck. You may only use fusion monsters that are non archtype related. ( No Elemental heroes, Shaddoll, Gem knight, Cybers, etc.
2: Numbers can not be destroyed by battle except with another number monster, just like the anime. They can still be destroyed by effects and the like from any other monster.
3: You can ONLY obtain another players number by playing your own and either attacking, do damage, or activate the use of it's effect, or destroying the other players number. When you win the duel, you may pick one of the other players numbers to take for your own use, be sure to include it when you post your win so it can be swamped around.
4: Cards from " The New Challengers " Are usable in this event since its days away, however, the above rules still applies to this.
Rules will/may be added or changed though final once the Event starts.

3 : Netdecking has always been an issue and officially it will happen despite standings. Just be prepared for anything or that specific deck. Don't call your opponent out for net decking just cause you cant win or it's an issue or deck yours cant handle. ( Ex Traptrix/Artifact ).
