Sum of all delays
Posted 15 years agoI'm really steamed up and ready to get things done, but several delays have been keeping me from doing things just right.
For one, my laptop is experiencing terrible lag so my progress and responses will be a bit slow. I really need to boost my mac like insanely much to get it to top capacity and get my trackpad working again. More memory and new battery, the full fix-up there.
I also need to replace my glasses, yes I do where glasses as the comic book may depict in a few issues of ODM. That in turn I also need to get started on school which will start dreadfully soon. I don't have the money what so ever to cover the expenses for my artistic needs because of books and tuition to spend on. I know I have been messy with my work as of late and its because I couldn't see my errors very well. Trust me, visual for an artist is everything and I just began to notice how tough it is with the disadvantage of this difficulty..too MANY words there.
Yeah, the comic does seem to roll as fast as the leaves fall with the time ahead, but I don't like it one bit. Because this point will hit me hard and I have to grind to the teeth in my studies among other things to finish and catch up on. So the most I can do right now is finish all the things that I have already started. I don't mean like long term stuff though (that would be too ridiculous >_>), the things that I have just started and tie alot of loose ends so I can start reeling them in for the big fish....sorry, I get carried away.
I at least need a few weeks to maybe a month to really tie myself together before I can pull up the next adventure of ODM, the grand anime convention, A-kon...fun. Don't worry though, I'll still indulge you with more art. I'll let you know when will be the next hit as soon as I have my guns ready for action. (figure of speech)

Happy New Years everyone, whatever conditions you stay..goes
Posted 15 years agoI don't have much to say, this year have been hectic for me.
I gone through alot of hardships with school and heartaches with family, also frustrations with a friend who I had...familiar relations with. If I could I would just say hell with it all and go across the other part of the world to start over and make my own living.
..but my life doesn't work that way. All I can do is shut my mouth, do what people want me to do, finish my plate, and take a spoon of Bull-Shit daily.
I want to be honest to everyone about 2009, in spite of all the good changes that have occurred in my life this year I have gone through some of the most dumbest, unnecessary shit to get there. I have been, CONSTANTLY, changing..most of them were dramatic changes. My attitude, my outlook, perspective in art, how I feel with certain people, my apathy..etc..
No, for other people I may know who CLAIMS that they have gone through worse it may appear that I haven't gone through anything. I have, because it had scarred me, changed me, made me realize that there's life beyond this. Life beyond the pain and misery that many people down here may call it common. People who gone through so much or so they say and claim they had seen it all. You don't know what the FUCK is out there until you go out and experience it yourself.
This is LIFE..?? hahahahahaaa..laughing at it all is, thats for sure.
Why am I laughing? Because I haven't yet to count my blessings. I tell you all this, if you all still think its been a tough year for you and look forward or may not look forward to the next. At least do yourself this favor. When the countdown starts, count your blessings.
So when the New Year starts, it will start with your enlightenment.

Though I wouldn't say this here, but it's good to be back.
Posted 15 years agoYes, It's been a while since the shut down. I was kinda shocked seeing that believe it or not. I finally got out of semester and am ready to get some art flowin. So, I have picked up ODM again and started on a new issue along side of the MB project, Moonlit Battles.
So now that school is out of the way, I'm wasting little to no time to get the things I pushed aside done. I still needed to complete a request I made here on the Vixen Tails story, I felt bad for holding that off so long. So I will do a few illustrations of that and will pick up on some commissions for Ragnorak Online. Yes, I play there too. I need to stay awake and keep my eyes peeled for any opportunities that may be heading my way.
I had faced an emotional crisis when I had return playing Shaiya again, a free online mmo that I had used to play with my Ex. I thought I would just move on and be with a different guild, but as long as she still plays it I will feel like I'm being dragged back into a painful state. So I am never going back there again. RO is my new home now.
Anyrate, if there's any small-time commissions you all would like to make let me know. I am still verifying my paypal, so once its up business will keep on rolling.

Attention FA
Posted 16 years agoI have edited my profile and am now available to do commissions. I don't do furries that often, but will be taking them now till the Animal Expo that is coming on the 17th will be presented in the Delgado Community College.
For any of those who live down here in Louisiana and interested, it is located in the City Park campus at 615 City Park Avenue.
After the 17th, I won't be doing anymore furries. I'll still do commissions though, just PM me the details if you would like to make one. I can do small requests for people only once in a while depending how busy I am.

Attention All Ghostbuster Fans!
Posted 16 years agoSince about 2 years ago, there have been always plans about doing and dressing the part for ghostbusters. This year is going to be big, I can feel it.
If my stress and depression allows it, I will spend 2 weeks and 3 months on the construct for what they carry in the movie, repairing, and getting as close as the real thing as possible.
A friend of ours will come down hopefully and take pictures of our progress...hopefully.
Yes, this is kinda a short announcement, but I feel like the whole state, the whole WORLD should know about it!!
now a picture taken after progress of finish deal

4. I like pie..
5. I'm as cool, open, loyal, and laid-back as they come when I'm in a good mood and chivalry won't die.
6. I plan to make a living with what I'm good at, whether or not I go at it alone.
7. I am twenty-four and will not be happy when I reach twenty-five if I'm still living with parents.
8. I love solving problems and figure things out. If I have to figure people out, then thats when I start being called an asshole. I seek honesty in everyone, I don't like to play charade or guessing games. I may be slow, but I catch on quick.
Why I now use a journal here.
Posted 16 years agoI don't really write journals too much, but when I do I have alot to say. I don't care whether anyone reads my journal or comment on them not just because I feel like whatever I write here needs to be told. I only write what I want people to know what's going on in case they wonder why I take so long to put up a new submission or a request.
I have made blogs about the last week and the week before in which I have been taking it tough. I'm somewhat over it, but I'm still human. I'm trying so hard to move forward and still always do when the going gets tough.
I will pull though, its just things are going slow for me right now.

The next day
Posted 16 years agoThe day came by regularly, except it felt different this time somehow.
It almost felt like last night was just a nightmare, but the burial is still there and its still very much as real as life claims.
Chela is still grieving for the loss of her mother, I mean she's really bad. She's always been dependent of her mother, but now that she's gone she doesn't seem to want much to do with her puppies. It hurts to see Chela like this.

Half-Moon
Posted 16 years agoI...don't know what to say...
Today, I woke up this morning early almost and went to school. I didn't feel like driving so I was dropped off. It was a real pain having to finish my painting today. I hung out with my classmates in between breaks and was kinda alright. I didn't have money to spend this time. The teacher was a pain too, but only because of the painting.
A sharp pain hit me in the head when I was painting. It felt like a knife was carving into the top right side of my brain. It lasted about 15 minutes then dissipates. It was sudden and unexpected.
I stayed in school today to catch up on my tests for math, but I wasn't able to do any tests today. I talked to a good colleague on my way out and though she was kind enough to offer a ride I still waited for me own. It was rough, I was tired and work-study would only wear me down. I cam home and talked to my buddies about getting together again for another ghostbuster gig for halloween. Him and his brother is moving to a nice place so we can all get together and work our things there.
There came crying in the room as if sounded like sound fatal has happened. Me and my father immediately went to see what it was. It was the sound of my sister with Chequita in her arms and she is grieving while on her knees. It so happened that a mad-woman drove wildly down our street and she was caught in her path. Sure there have been crazy people driving in our road before and Chequita always tend to cross when people are coming, but this time it had costed her life and there was no one there to hear it from.
It was sudden and expected, I don't know what to say. I hated that things take me like this, this hazard and tragedy could have been avoided. It doesn't feel right to see a dead family pet, even for more than 7 years.
It was not quiet, people in the neighborhood came out to see what was going on. Our neighbor who are good friends of ours from salvador. They all helped out in burying her. I have never felt dead weight in a box before, she was about 5 or 10 pounds. I'm sure there were signs that I have missed, there were signs that this was going to happen.
My mother's dream of Chequita disappearing.
The headache, the news on the radio about traffic accidents. Signs are ignored because there's no way to stop things from happening, because we cannot see the when and how. My sister had it harder than any of us, she is closer to chequita and felt that she had somehow lost a second mother. She is old and we knew her time would come eventually. Chela knew her time came when she have not receive her mother back after waiting by the door for so long. She's been whining all night, and perhaps will till morning. Maria doesn't know what happen because we didn't tell her, with her mental problems she would not understand the nature of life and death so the lost would devastate her to the point of a serious traumatic break down. She..will find out eventually, but for now Maria, my little sister, will not know melancholy.
I don't know what I feel right now.. I don't feel sad, nor happy.. The last thing I did was to take a small sword that I had made with the intent of giving it to a friend of mine, used it as a cross to mark Chequita's burial. My mind feels empty, my heart feels hallow, and yet after such a terrible lost I have not felt any part of me grieving or suffering. I just feel devastated with an anguish of something like this having to happen to us needlessly to get us to see what is going on. This is truly an unnecessary death, at least for us.
If a dog can die in the middle of the night by some girl who works close by at Smoothie King, 50 or 60 mph down the residential road. Imagine a small child..
This is a wake up call, when something happens we all have to look and listen. You'll never know what you have until you loose it.
