These are the Terms of Service for a fursuit commission. They are subject to change at any point. I have the right to refuse service to anyone who is rude.







Prices:

Any price quotes are subject to change. Amount of commissions are limited per month. I require a 40% nonrefundable down payment to guarantee a completion date.
Final payments must be received by the beginning of the month of the month it is to be completed.
Late payment will result in a later completion date or a cancelled commission. I accept, money orders and paypal. I am not responsible for any late or lost payments.




Warranty

All work is guaranteed for 60 days upon day of item received. Any unauthorized alteration not made by me voids the warranty. Warranty covers defects of material and construction. Normal wear and tear or gross neglect is not covered by the warranty.






Design Changes

Customers will be required to provide me with an up to date reference sheet of their character with at least 3 full body views. If any parts of the design change after the quote, I need to know BEFORE the down payment is made so the correct materials can be ordered.

I will not be able to accommodate any major design changes made after the fur is ordered. It is the customers responsibility to provide a clear, up to date reference sheet

Any changes after work has begun will not be accepted. Please let me know beforehand if you wish to change something on the design.


Work in progress photos and updates:

Work in progress updates and photos will be available upon request. I will send you progress and updates on an agreed scheduled. (I can not send daily updates. I apologize for any inconvenience).I will show progress photos after every stage, or on request.



Age:

All customers must be at least 18 years of age before sending any payments. If under 18, a parent or guardian must contact Me beforehand.




Deadlines:

The customer should let me know of any deadlines when ask for their quote. If you wish to have your commission completed within 90 days there will be a 25% Rush fee.





Returns and refunds:

You have 3 days (72 hours) to tell me if you are unhappy with a costume upon receiving it. after this time is over I will consider the transaction complete.

No refunds will be given if the costume arrives to me in a state that is different to when it was sent out to you.

If after all other options are not available , you may request a refund. However the suit must be returned to me in the same condition that it arrived to you in. Once the costume is back with me I will sell it and the refund will be sent.



Shipping:

Shipping is not included in the price for commissions.
(once complete with the final payment I will inform you of shipping)
I usually ship with UPS and require a signature upon delivery. If you wish for a different carrier let me know.

International shipping- I will ship internationally however, once the package leaves the United States, I am no longer responsible for it.

Once packages are sent out, any damage caused by the postal services is not a fault of my own. If such damages do happen, contact your post office immediately for compensation.



Allergy Warning:

Though I try my best to keep my cats away from the supplies, they do manage to sneak in sometimes. If you are allergic to cats you may wish to consider another maker.




Contract and Writing:

Anything agreed upon by both parties in writing, including email, is a binding contract. By accepting a commission or quote from me, you agree upon all terms of service. I store digital copies of email from customers.

I will try to have it finished within two weeks. Maximum amount of time it should take is 1 month. After 1 month, if I have not started on your commission, you are free to ask for a refund.
(I believe I have fairly fast Turn around times)

I will NOT give a refund if I have already started the sketch.

I work in order, in regards to who is first. I work in order unless something has a due date or rush order.

You're free to give me a due by date, but please have it at a minimum of two weeks wait. Rush orders would require 50% charge to the current commissions. Rush orders must give a 3 day advance warning.

Private commissions Have a 50% charge to the current commission.

As the artist, I have rights to do as I will with your commission, unless it is a private commission. This includes:
1)using it in a portfolio.
2) Using it to advertise
3) Using it on my other websites

Rant RANT rant~
Haha so I read a thing about this girl who makes beautiful pieces of art with her fingers/like finger painting. I also read many comments on arguments on what art really is.

People who have "studied" art seem to be acting snobbish and have /like many others who think studying in a subject makes them the ''oh so powerful god of this knowledge'' seemed to misplace their "knowledge" with ignorance.

While it is good to have an opinion on art, you are have no right to say what art is and is not in other work. I do not care if you have a mega jack ass degree in anything. Yes I too have studied art and what I learned is that there is ART in everything. Art is just like the beauty you find in life, and those who can't see it can't judge other works because they lack that ability to see beauty in most things.

Just as you have no right to judge others life, you have no right to judge what makes art from an artist.

Basic Pricing

I have been making cosplay since 2008, and started working with fursuit materials in 2009. I have help from my bf -both artistic and creating things since 2007- (so chances are you will have 2 people making the perfect suit for you for the price of 1!) I have grown quite a bit in experience however I am not a master yet. (Like clockwork) However I will make you the best suit possible

THINGS YOU MUST KNOW

1) I do not make silicone products- if you want silicone paw pads or a nose I can order it online for you.

2) I do not do paw pads for Feet unless requested
3) If you want a moving jaw I NEED YOUR SPECIFICS ON THE HEAD -- I am not responsible for incorrect measuring on your part : here is a link to best help with measurements: plus3defense.webs.com/measurementinstructions.htm
4) Paypal is the best main form of payment-
5) If you want special markings that can not be sewn in I hand paint them on (last picture from 2013- head has hand painted markings)
6) no zipper in the head, it will be a pull over unless you request otherwise.
7) I need a reference sheet for what you want me to create!! -If you don't have one I will be glad to create one for you for 20$
8) If you want to make payments you can but I require at least a 40% down payment


Now that you see my work I offer the prices (normally the cost of materials and some for work effort). These prices can and will change depending on what you want -naturally- (These prices are not set in stone and varies accordingly)

(types of eyes, jaw and color do affect the price -I work best with resin eyes- LED EYES are available at this time however they will be commissioned from someone else)

((if you need a long tail about 3-5 feet --like the cat costumes I did above-- you can chose to have wire placed inside to make it bendable and pose-able so it won't drag on the ground either but it will cost a little extra mind you))

2 colors, simple, to elbows, claws, /no pawpads/ = 60$
3 colors, complex, shoulder length, claws and pawpads= 95$

Ok just a little rant, for those of you who make fursuits its about fur. I keep ordering fur and it seems the last 3 times have just been hell. Really! So for a con when I made Snow and Zero I ordered fur before Halloween (10-27-2013) and I didn't get it till (11-04-2013) The con was 11-9-2013, seriously, and I did make it but I order 5 day shipping...and its like...come on XC and Now I have order fur a small batch of red...ordered it (12-11-2010) ..where is it? I have no idea because all I get is a message that from the tracking ((Electronic Shipping Info Received)) WTF omg that was on (12-11-13) I just want my FURRRR RAWRRR

Yes. You read that correctly. I will be hosting a raffle that starts 11/21/13 and ends on 12/2/13. This is for a FREE fursuit head (nothing else) it can be whatever you want in any style. However there are things to be taken into consideration.
1) I am not a professional! I do have have many many years of experience making these the most perfect fursuit heads you have ever seen, However I do pour my hear and soul into all my projects! (basically do not expect the most amazing head you have ever seen but don't expect it to be poor either). I want experience from this and what better way?
2) I work with a foam base and will be using left over foam, fur and other materials to be creating the head (it may take a while to make if I do not have the fur on hand you would like and I will have to order it.
-- I have short black fur, white fur, some grey fur, and Mongolian grey frost tip fur-- If I have to order other colors of fur it may take a little longer for the head to be completed--
3) It is a FREE FURSUIT HEAD. That being said it may be a while to complete (I want to say it could be out by Christmas but it could be new years or sometime in Feb. Rough estimate) . I expect to be treated like anyone else and with respect, just as you will be treated with respect. You will get progress photos and updates and if you want a reference sheet. Please remember I am NOT a professional fursuit maker (YET) I am merely trying to find my footing for this and I want to give someone a free fursuit head!

So Its really exciting :) I know there are a few of you here and there and I do appreciate your support. I am just excited I got a new place with close friends and my Mate!! I am continuing my degree in the Art Institute and I feel like I have grown my own wings and flying. I believe I am also going to make cosplay for a friend of a friends wedding- The bride and groom. Its really amazing and I can not express how much amazing it is to be asked that :DDD

Beside that my Best friend is moving up on her career and her poems are getting published in a magazine (the rest is a surprise so I guess I am not allowed to know :< )

Im so strung on life right now. Everything seems up. I have learned the value of true friendship and some in deep meanings of life! That's right I know the meaning to life- there is no one answer and everyone has to determine what that meaning is for themselves. :) But aside from that....
