Since I have one request and a pokemon to do, I've been wanting to do some art for more people, and no one seems to want to commission lol, so.. to expand my portfolio a little more, I'd like to do some trades.
I want them to be secret though. I'll ask for fair trades though ><.

why I say secret though, is because I will for sure be coloring these too, but.... I won't tell you if it will be flat color or shaded. I also can't say for sure how long these will take to complete, since at the moment, I'm finding it hard to move about, so I have to rest frequently to get rid of the pains. ><
Also, I may be interested in a custom trade, like, you give me details on a new character, and I'll draw it, and I'll give you details on a new character, and you can draw it :D

Posted 12 years agoI need about three pair. I've lost all the ones I had before we moved into this house apparently. I found one solo earring and managed to reopen the four that were closed, and I could really use some earrings :<.

2. Where were your parents born? My mom was born in New York. I think my dad was born in Oklahoma [maybe South Dakota, I'm not really sure.]
3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer? Livestream :<.
4. What's your favorite restaurant? Huhot, probably. I love the food and the atmosphere, but I love other places also.
5. Last time you swam in a pool? This summer. We live like half a block from the pool and it's free, so.. I have no excuses not to go.
6. Have you ever been in a school play? Kind of? I don't remember as a kid, but in 10th grade, I was in the choir for Into The Woods, but I wasn't in the actual play, because I was sick. Also, my Sophomore Comp/Lit class, we did a version of Hamlet just for our class.. So there's that.
7. How many kids do you want? Hmm, can't have any, but I've always wanted twins. If no twins, then just one.
8. Type of music you dislike most? Rudeness, people who are mean just to be mean. [The exception to this being Willam Belli, because come on, s/he's funny. not sure if Willam prefers to be called 'he' or 'she', so.. s/he]
9. Are you registered to vote? Yes, AND I VOTED FOR OBAMA BOTH TIMES. I would do so again, if he could run again. No, I don't care what people have to say about this.
10. Do you have a c-a-r? I've never had my license, buuuut.. I was supposed to get my stepbrothers car, but it had a problem that couldn't be fixed... so.. no.
11. Have you ever ridden on a moped? No, but a motorcycle one time. Did not enjoy.
12. Ever prank call anybody? YES! I use prankdial a lot on my friends, because it records their reactions, and they're hilarious!
13. Ever get a parking ticket? No.
14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?Neither, thank you please.
15. Do you have a favorite music decade? Not really.. I like a lot of classical, all the way up to today's music.
16. Do you have a garden? Yes. It's down for the winter, but we still have hot peppers growing in the house.
17. What's the size of your bed? Queen, I think. It was given to me by my stepgrandpa, because otherwise I would have no bed. Also, there's a double in the basement that was here when we moved in, sometimes I sleep on that. but there's a ton of bugs down there, so it's creepy.
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? I do. But I never sing it.
19. Bath or Shower, morning or night? I like baths, but our tub creeps me out, so I shower. and no set time, I've showered mornings, afternoons, evenings, and night.
20. Best Movie you've seen in the Last 4 months? uhhhhh... The Avengers, I suppose. I saw it awhile back too, but I like to watch it again sometimes.
21. What's the next movie you want to see? I have yet to see the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, so that would be cool.
22. Chips or popcorn? Chips.. I like popcorn too, but it gets stuck in my teeth and it makes me angry. Chips, I just have to worry about random sharp pieces stabbing me in the gums, and that's pretty rare for me.
23. Have you ever broken any hearts? I don't know, I mean, I guess probably?
24. Premarital sex? Yep..
25. Are you a good cook? I can only cook ethnic foods for some reason. My normal 'American Cuisine' Is nothing to write home about.
26. Orange or Apple juice? Apples :D
27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you go? My mate, we went to the cafe when I got my fall semester refund.
28. Are you competitive and goal orientated? I have goals, but I wouldn't say I'm goal oriented. Also, I am rarely ever competitive, unless someone upsets me, and then it's my goal to be better than they are :<.
29. Best thing in the world? Loving my family.
30. Have you ever broken a bone? A few. I broke fingers, toes, my wrist, a rib.. blah..
31. Have you ever won a trophy? I don't think so. Do Playstation trophies count? I've won a lot of those.

33. What is your dream car? Lamborghini Murcielago, yes please <3
34. Ever order an article from an infomercial? Hmm.. I have a Pedegg? and a Magic Bullet or w/e those speakers are called :D.
35. Coke or Pepsi? Either or. I also like Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Root Beer and Crush.
36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? I had to wear this ugly shirt and apron when I worked as a dishwasher at the bar in town once..
37. Last thing you bought at a c-h-e-m-i-s-t? A food network magazine, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
38. Who are you going to marry? Well, since my mate has had a bad marriage before, he doesn't really want a paper wedding, so.. we just consider ourselves married anyway. In about 3 more years, we'll fall under common-law marriage.
39. Who would you like to meet? a lot of the amazing people on FA. Probably a huge list of celebrities too, but idk. My penpals, also.
40. Do you believe in love at first sight? I do. The first time I saw my mate, I knew we'd be together. It had nothing to do with his actual looks, because I figured he was WAY out of my league, but he was really sweet and caring.
41. What features do you find most attractive in the opposite sex? Eyes or hair. a booty never hurts either <3
42. Where would you go for a romantic evening? I think it would be somewhere nice and quiet, where it's not bright, but not dark either, which could be almost anywhere, if you're clever.
43. How many pairs of shoes do you own? uuuuuhhh.. maybe 5? I don't know for sure anymore, some need to be thrown out, and some I can't find.

45. Any pets? a Pomeranian that barks at everything [and sometimes nothing at all, literally nothing.] and three cats. We've discussed me eventually getting either a turtle, a reptile of some kind, a bird, or a corgi at some point in the future as well. but that's waaaaay off.

-dish soap or dishwasher soap
-cleaning stuff [like for the bathroom]
Things my mom would like:
-a back washing brush.
Things I really need:
-Socks
-Underwear [Size 9]
-Clothes [Literally, I have many of the same clothes I've been wearing since middle school, and they either are horribly damaged or barely fit anymore] [Shirts 14/16, XL, Pants 22]
-bras. [42DD]
-Winter boots, and a pair of regular shoes [My old shoes are really shelling out, and I haven't had winter boots since I was in middle school >>] [Size 8 wide, or size 10 regular]
Random things I don't NEED but really want [dreams, basically..]

[Repost] FA Christmas Lists!
Posted 12 years agoSo, I saw a journal with this in it.. I'll link to it at the end. Basically, it's the same kind of thing that went around last year. For the new people that may not have seen it last year, you make a list of 10 things you really want for Christmas, and maybe someone can grant your wish. Look around, if you can grant someone's wish, then do it. If you can't, you should post their list also, so that more people will see. If you want physical things, make sure to include a way for people to get ahold of you for your address!
Note: I won't be able to buy things to grant wishes this year, but I will do my very best to help grant wishes!
My List:
1. Language books - Any, I'm preparing for going overseas when I can finally graduate, so these will help. I am really looking for Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana study guides most though.
2. Money - I really, really need money, for bills and stuff, and even a little helps...
3. Sweets - I love sweet foods, candies, teas, and other things. I really want to try macarons the most, but I like anything sweet.
4. Pokemon stuff - I like pokemon things, especially cards, but I am cool with anything.
5. Letters, post cards, christmas cards.. - I love hearing from people.
6. Stickers, fancy paper, vintage buttons - I like writing to my penpals, and so I like to use nice paper, and stickers. I have a penpal in Japan that likes vintage buttons, and I would like to be able to get her something nice too.
7. For everyone to have a great Christmas - I have had a very tough year, and I am the type who is happiest knowing other people are happy. So have a good holiday.
8. Sanrio stuff - I wouldn't mind some Rilakkuma stuff, or Hello Kitty, or Cinnamoroll..
9. A scarf and mittens - I went all last year without winter gear, and I am supposed to walk at least 10 minutes twice a day when I am better. I don't think it would be good to walk without good gear..
10. A care package... - I don't know, maybe like some soap and snacks or art supplies.. I love lotions and perfumes, and I really need shampoo and body wash...

1. Language books - Any, I'm preparing for going overseas when I can finally graduate, so these will help. I am really looking for Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana study guides most though.
2. Money - I really, really need money, for bills and stuff, and even a little helps...
3. Sweets - I love sweet foods, candies, teas, and other things. I really want to try macarons the most, but I like anything sweet.
4. Pokemon stuff - I like pokemon things, especially cards, but I am cool with anything.
5. Letters, post cards, christmas cards.. - I love hearing from people.
6. Stickers, fancy paper, vintage buttons - I like writing to my penpals, and so I like to use nice paper, and stickers. I have a penpal in Japan that likes vintage buttons, and I would like to be able to get her something nice too.
7. For everyone to have a great Christmas - I have had a very tough year, and I am the type who is happiest knowing other people are happy. So have a good holiday.
8. Sanrio stuff - I wouldn't mind some Rilakkuma stuff, or Hello Kitty, or Cinnamoroll..
9. A scarf and mittens - I went all last year without winter gear, and I am supposed to walk at least 10 minutes twice a day when I am better. I don't think it would be good to walk without good gear..
10. A care package... - I don't know, maybe like some soap and snacks or art supplies.. I love lotions and perfumes, and I really need shampoo and body wash...

I'm in need of inspiration lately, so I have a bit of an offer.
If anyone wants something to draw, feel free to poke through my gallery and draw anything you like. G-XXX, it's all good. In exchange, I'd love to have permission to look through your characters and draw them..
No promises, I just like having the option of drawing things other than my characters. Please set a rating, if you have problems with certain things.

^ here's my list. Seriously though, I'm not posting this for the sake of getting gifts as much as I am reposting because there are so many awesome people in it that deserve a good christmas!
On that note also, I'm pretty dense, so if you need my address, please note me, I don't pick up well on hints ._.;;;
Next - I borrowed my friends tablet. I wanted to work on my art. it seems that all the sick time I had, my skills are slipping a lot..
I was thinking back to my journal where I asked for donations for food for myself and my family/supplies like shampoo and soap, and I thought maybe if there was any interest, I might do a donation stream?
I know my art is not the greatest, so I was thinking a minimum of 1$ would get you a headshot, but if anyone felt generous, they could offer more.
._. Thinking it would be straight sketches, since I apparently haven't figured out the mystery that is coloring in Sai yet. XD

Posted 12 years agoSo, I saw a journal with this in it.. I'll link to it at the end. Basically, it's the same kind of thing that went around last year. For the new people that may not have seen it last year, you make a list of 10 things you really want for Christmas, and maybe someone can grant your wish. Look around, if you can grant someone's wish, then do it. If you can't, you should post their list also, so that more people will see. If you want physical things, make sure to include a way for people to get ahold of you for your address!

I Could Use Art Advice..
Posted 12 years agoOkay, so not so widely known is that I spent much of last night drawing and shading shapes for practice, as well as tracing facial outlines, so I can work on the way I draw furry/anthro faces.
I intend to try practicing feral as well, and as I was advised, I'm attempting to draw from life.
I was mostly hoping for some critique of my two WIPs [for the second, please ignore the color, it went wrong somehow, so I'm gonna go back into the linearts and fix it.

also, I don't suppose someone would be up for doing some skeletons of certain types of animals [avian, reptile, dragon, canine, feline and vulpine] So I can compare the shapes to what I have done in the past... It's a lot to ask, I know.

New Species Information [Frisceia]
Posted 13 years agoBasic Info: These are a timid, forest dwelling faerie being, a small colony of which was recently found and has been observed, They range in size from the tiniest, 1/2 inch to the largest, 1 1/2 feet. They only appear to those with no intention of harming them, and will only reveal there secrets to those who fully trust them.
Each of these will be unique, in gender, appearance, and in there abilities, which could be anything.
All will be given out eggs, which will hatch for you, and start there life as a nymph hatching.
Egg Care: These eggs care for themselves, and require only a small waiting period. Please take care to choose an egg that will suit you, as it will be the best fit.
Baby information: As a baby [nymph] They are wingless, and have only small amounts of fur and hair, this will change as it grows.
Special Abilities: It appears that these creatures are capable of absolutely anything. Some observed abilities included telekinesis, elemental powers, shapeshifting, and others. It appears to be completely random, as some even among families [identified by one chief marking shared among family members] , exhibited powers others in the same family did not possess.
Genders: Female, Male, Apparent Genderlessness, herm

Posted 13 years agoSo, here's my plan. I'm sure many of you have heard of Scheherazade, and the 1001 nights, right? My idea is to do a series of short stories, using furries. Most will be original, some will be seasonal/holiday, some may be based on fairy tales, folk lore and urban legends.
There will be a bit of everything, horror, romance, drama, lots and lots of humor. I'm looking to basically build up my author resume.
How can you help? If you look at my gallery, I have quite alot of characters. However, some aren't going to be in my stories. I don't have enough to keep filling in a bunch of stories.
*If you have free adopts, or characters you'd like to donate, I'll take whatever you can give me, just send a link.
*You could donate spare change via paypal, or buy my adopts/characters [I need to be able to pay the electric bill, or this story might never come to fruition ;~;]

Regarding My Newest Adoptable [Please Read]

It is not the only one I intend to create, there will be other " "-Lagos types as well, including, but not limited to:

I am closing the species, meaning, unless you bribe me, or buy one, you cannot make one. I accept bribes in the form of: Paypal, dA points, dA subscriptions, Neopoints or in-game items/currency/subscriptions, but only to sites I use. Also, I might take miscellaneous items.
I might be willing to part with some for art trades.
Regarding the price:
Drawing up the line art alone took me a half hour, and coloring/fixing booboos took a good hour. Minimum wage where I live is 7.25$ an hour, so I'm only charging a little bit over that for the cost.
Notes:
I am not claiming bunny-fox hybrids in general as my personal species. You are more than welcome to make a bunny fox all you want, I am only claiming the rights to my variations of them, which is fair. My art, my designs, my creativity = My species.
I will take requests for customs, same price.
Other:
I will be doing a sale on these if enough people express interest in them. I'm not saying people that buy these, just people that say they would like one. For instance, if 3 people show interest, I'll knock 50 cents from the price, 10 people, I'll knock 3$ off.
Also, if there is a demand, I may make baby versions of these, and gender differences are in the works.
I am also considering making these 'semi-evolvable', meaning, much like Pokemon, Digimon, or any other franchise involving something becoming something else, there could be two or three stages to each of these, which I would say would be the equivalent to Baby-Teen-Adult.
Some other things I've encountered thus far:
Buying an individual Lagos does not entitle you to make an entire set of them, just the one you buy. The upside to this is that you can change anything you like when you buy it. Want it to be a girl? go for it. Want to add fangs and spider legs, whatev. Want to make it different colors, or change patterns and markings, go nuts.
In the future, I may do special discounts, for good customers, or for those who buy multiples.
Also, I might throw in these bonuses at random times:
-Baby buyers can create the teen/adult forms for free.
-An entire character sheet, with colors used, and a personality [which you get to determine!]

I am also considering making these 'semi-evolvable', meaning, much like Pokemon, Digimon, or any other franchise involving something becoming something else, there could be two or three stages to each of these, which I would say would be the equivalent to Baby-Teen-Adult.
Some other things I've encountered thus far:
Buying an individual Lagos does not entitle you to make an entire set of them, just the one you buy. The upside to this is that you can change anything you like when you buy it. Want it to be a girl? go for it. Want to add fangs and spider legs, whatev. Want to make it different colors, or change patterns and markings, go nuts.
In the future, I may do special discounts, for good customers, or for those who buy multiples.
Also, I might throw in these bonuses at random times:
-Baby buyers can create the teen/adult forms for free.
-An entire character sheet, with colors used, and a personality [which you get to determine!]
