Eurofurence Journal: First day and awayyyyy! ^-^
Posted 11 years agoOkay, sorry guys, but I wanted to upload all the art I've made for the artshow and the Den before I the convention starts. But I must admit, that I... did a little bit too much to really upload everything. I didn't even manage to scan every piece. >.<
So I'll upload all the pictures I didn't show yet after the convention. :3

I know... I know... it's stupid to ask for non-furry characters on a furry website. ... But hell, I'll give it another try.
This time I'm looking for characters to draw as a waist-up-sketch. So everything from A as in Angel to Z as in Zentaur is fine.
I am not generally against furry-suggestions, but I will prefer fantasy-creatures.
But this time I will take suggestions for fanart as well, such as characters of movies and alike. :)
I will pick the characters I draw by myself and will tell you when I did the sketch.
The final upload will come in batches, just like the previous batch.

Now that I'm nearly finished with the last big picture, I'd like to open up slots for Eurofurence Badges.

The background will be the same for all of them. Just minor color changes will be made for each character.
The character itself is variable.
Price will be 25 € (Euro) and an extra fee of 10 € will be made for very complex characters. (If you're not sure if your character is complex, feel free to ask me. :) )

Back from Confuzzled and away again for the weekend

Yes, I'm back from Confuzzled, and it was pretty cool. Next time I'll change a few things, but overall it was very cool to be there. :)
I think I might attend to the NordicFuzzCon next year. And since my birthday is that weekend I might even have a little party there ^^. We will see.
At the moment I'm away again for the weekend because of a LARP (Live Action Role Play). I do just have a little bit of time before it starts, so I'll let you know, that I wont be able to respond as fast as usual. :3
After this Weekend of... no-stress-whatsoever I'll start with the YCH and hopefully will start to work on a new pricelist with a better structure, and might even finish my Comic before Eurofurence! :D

I'm very happy to visit the Confuzzled together with this friday. For me it's the first time being there, and I'm very happy to not be alone there. :)
I'll show a few pictures in the Art-Show there, but I didn't get a table in the Dealers Den. So you'll probably find me helping out at her table. :)
I don't think that I'll offer as much as I did last year and will do this year at Eurofurence, but I might take a few things with me. :)

Since I've forgot to post a Kiriban Picture for either my 20.000 pageviews or the 2.000th watcher, I've decided to do a raffle for those two.

I've a few annoucements to do.
Comic Announcement
First I want to let you know, that I'm on the finishing streak of my comic called "Yuukis Adventures". This means, the first chapter will soon be finished.
I'll post the next pages every two weeks on saturday, starting on December 21st.
Now you may wonder why every two weeks, if I'm nearly finished. Right now I've got all the pages sketched and the script finished, but the pages need to be inked, colored and shaded as well... so it'll still need some time. There's also another project coming up soon, which'll be something less furry, and still there are pictures to draw and commissions to finish. So I'll for sure upload stuff, but the comic-upload will be just every two weeks.
I'm sorry for that. But I don't take money for it at all... so... *smiles* I hope you understand

In the end of Febuary in 2014 I'll hit a big number with my birthday, which makes me not feel very comfortable with it. Not to say I'm feeling old....
But that's why I'll start with a contest running for two months and ending at my birthday. I'll make the topic of this contest official soon and I do hope that you'll stay tuned, since there'll be prices. :) Depending on the entries I'll offer more prices the more furs will enter. :)
Gift-Raffle
Last but not least... I'll open up a gift-raffle for X-mas. Since it's the day to show someone you love how much you love him/her, I'll offer a gift-art-raffle. This is how it works:
1) You tell me for which of your friends I should draw something and give me his/her name and the sheet of him/her most beloved character.
2) Everything is fine. Even Characters from Animes/Mangas/Games etc. as long as I get a reference or some pictures of it.
3) Tell me the reason why this persons means so much for you.
I'll pick the person by myself. And I'll do the artwork to X-mas, so it'll be finished until then and you'll get a present for sure.
BUT... I CAN'T pick everyone. I'll maybe just pick one from those who participate, but I might even pick two. :) So please don't be mad or angry. :) I just want to do someone something good. :)

Posted 12 years agoPhew... Well... As I did it last year, I'll write a rather short resumée of this years Eurofurence again. :)
Overall it was great! :) I had an aweome time with Ruki, Mirri, my beloved Kieran, Djakuma, Dolphy, Dodger, Tiko, Wux, and so many many more people, that to name them all here would look like "Pokemon", because ... I really did catch them all! XD
This year me and Ruki had the centerfold in the conbook and our limited print of it sold very VERY good at the Artshow. :3
For my other pictures I learned, that a full background is better than a partwise and for the next EF I'll go more into "telling a story" with the picture than to show "pure sex". :)
So... another lesson learned.
The DealersDen was amazing as well. I did met so many old and now new friends, so I can just hope, that I'll keep in touch with them after the convention. And I really do have to upload all the sketches I did within the next days and weeks. :3
I also had my very first room-Party and it was just LEGENDARY! :) You will see everyone of us with a selfmade Tshirt of it next year. :)
So... in the end there are just a few things I do regret.
1) Not having a nice dinner with a certain Fox.
2) Not having the time to talk to so many people I just met at the con
3) Not being self-confident enough to say what I want and don't want.
But next year will be different. It'll be in my hometown, it will be even bigger and I will have much time until then to get better. :)
Thanks to all those of you who supported me, and thanks to all those who don't do it just at the convention, bur also when I'm just sitting at home an work my ass off. ;)

Eurofurence & Why I didn't post anything lately

As you might have noticed, I will attend to this years Eurofurence again. And basically that's the reason why I didn't post anything on both accounts lately.
Plus I had a big birthday-surprise for my beloved husband, which also wasn't posted yet.
I simply don't know if I will manage to upload all the stuff I want to show to you before I'll leave my home to visit the con, but I'll for sure upload tons of stuff afterwards. XD
My Artshow-Setup
I won't spoil you too much here. I'd just like to give you an overview over the amount of pictures I'll take to the artshow.
I was very lucky this year to have 4 collaborative works together with 2 amazing artists! 3 of them are digitally and were printed as limited print on canvas. One was done traditionally with fineliners, copics and polychromos.
With one panel in the general section and one in the adult section I'll have more than enough space to show my recent pictures. ^^;
This time (different from any other year) I really did put much effort in drawing and producing original pieces.
Over all I'll set up:
14 pictures (made by myself)
3 of them were done digitally and finally printed on canvas
and ...
11 of them were (I really can't imagine how I've done this. >-<) handmade with traditional media.
Most of those 11 pictures were made with polychromos and copics (a wonderful combo I got used to during the last months), but one of them was scraped on black paper and I do really hope that I'll come up with another idea like it. :)
Plus the 4 collaborative works,
means I've got 18 pictures I worked on in this years artshow... Really a premiere for me... And I already have tons of ideas for the next year. ^^
And what will I bring in for the Dealers Den?
Phew...
A hard task.
Not only that I did work on so many pictures lately, I also did improve my sketching-skills and did so many different sketches, with and without backgrounds, plus the artbook with 12 sketches in it for my husband...
But let me just give you a list of the things I'll offer:
Food-Furry-Magnets => 9 different types each in 4 different color-shapes
Prints => Old ones from 2012 and new ones from 2013, as well as prints from the originals I'll place in the artshow
Portrait-Magnets => 5 magnets in size 7x7 cm and 2 magnets with 9x9cm size as offered special-commission
Originals => Two pieces that didn't make it into the artshowHandmade charms => with or without leatherband -> animal-headshots on black paper, done with polychromos (laminated)
Mini-Badges => small headshot-badges - made traditionally with Copics and Polychromos, will be laminated and ringed.
Sketch-Commissions => due to the lack of time (Why must the day only have 24 hours) I'll only manage to finish sketches without or with a partwise background at the con.
MAYBE... if I find the time I'll do a bunch of blank language-pawprints, to wear as a badge. Because I found it quite handy to know in which language I can start a conversation. (Btw... I started to learn Spanish the last weeks. ^^; )
I will offer normal commissions as well at the con. But if it's not a sketch, I'll most likely finish it after the con and send it to the commissioner. :)
And now... for those of you, who might ask:
Where the hack can I find your table?!? => I'm in the big room, infront of the entrance. You can't miss me. ^^;
I am really happy and soooo nervous because of the difference between this years EF and last year.
I really worked my ass off and do hope it was worth it. :)

I'll offer small badges and big badges.
Both types will be laminated and ringed. Which means, they will not only have a hole to put in on a ribbon, the hole will have a metal ring around it to make it safer. :)

Feeling oooooold and giving some update for the comic

I don't know why, but recently I feel so very old. Maybe it's just the grey and depressive weather, maybe it's the fact, that I AM OLD, but usually I don't feel it that hard and it doesn't make me that mad. =^-^=
Well.. with age comes wisdom, at least somehow, but I do really hope, that I will remain like I am and never will be a ranting dragonwife that's just arguing against the younger ones. =^.^=
For those of you, who are interested in the newest informations about my comic, I AM WORKING ON IT. Hehe. :3 Nevermind, but I will really finish it off, but in a bundle of at least 5 pages per step. :3 I hope, that this longer weekend, I will find some time to do the lines and the coloring as well.
If you are interested in the newest news about the comic and maybe want to give me some inspirations for the upcoming chapters, please tell me, if you'd like to have a blog or maybe another page you can watch it, without the need to browse through my gallery. :3
This comic will be availble for free, because it features my characters and kinks and it was a gift for my husband. So there will be no charge for it(at least in its digital form). If you'd like to support this project with money or fanart or whatever, feel free to do so. :3 I am really thankful for all the support I've got so far, and I will do my best to finish the next pages soon.

Comics, commissions, auctions and stuff...

I don't know if you did already know, but drawing is just a hobby for me... a hobby with benefits for me, but I do only have time to draw in my rare free time. And because a day just has 24 hours (damn thee day!) I have to somehow manage my division of "commission", "auctions", "comic", "my own stuff" and of course "freetime". And so I came to a simple conclusion. ^^;
Once I've finished the last remaining commissions (right now, just one digital and 1 traditional badge), I'll keep my slots closed and stick to drawing the lines for my comic again. Beause it's already sketched to page 12 and I'd love to show them to you finished again. In between those pages I'll stick to giving out auctions once in a while and keeping the rest for my own artworks. I hope to so prevent an upcoming artblock.
Opening my commissions will be after I finished the first chapter of my comic which will be probably at page 20, if I do stick to this rate of actions per page. ^^
I really do hope you do understand my decision and respect it. *sends out hugs for everyone*

I really had a wonderful week of holidays in the new year, but now my work is beginning again, which means I need more time to finish pictures and of course comic-pages.
Nonetheless I'd like to offer a 1.000 watchers kiriban-art-raffle.
It'll be a wing-it-picture featuring my two lovely boys Arlirrethil and Maximus.

This "slot" has NO restrictions. It can be feral, Anthro, female, male, herm, with or without wings. I'm okay with everything. :)
You can even pick if you'd like to be the dominant or the submissive part.
But keep in mind, it's a wing-it, so I'll choose the poses of the characters within. But of course you can tell me your "No-Go's" and I'll stay away from them.
Now for the rules:
1. Spread the word! - Means, make a journal of this raffle and tell your friends. :3 The more, the merrier! ^^
2. Look and decide! - Means: Browse through my galleries ( isuna & yuuki-cat ) and tell me which picture is your favorite and why. (I really want to improve myself and I need to know where I'm on the right path with in my pictures. :3 )
3. Tell me! - Means: Tell me, why I should pick your character to be in the picture. :3 I'm really just curious and would like to make a little challenge out of this. ^.^
4. Who shall it be? - Link me a reference or (please no shades) picture of your character so I can start working asap. :3
5. This raffle will end on 18th January at 9 PM GMT +1 (So... my timezone. :3 )
6. I'll choose the participant by myself and please understand, that there's only ONE slot for it. But I'll do another art-raffle for sure soon. :)

Thanking for watches or not?

I sort of was thinking about a little thing. I saw so many pages the last days (Thank you btw. to all my new watchers) but... I was wondering if it's really necessary or wanted to thank for every watch.
I mean... it really IS spam on those pages. :3 I do it, for at least 90% of my watchers, the 10% I miss mostly, when I have too much work to do or go into holidays. ^^;
So... I'd like to ask you. Do you want me to thank those new watchers personally by shout on their user-page for a watch? Or do you just find it silly and not really necessary?
