Today is honestly not my favorite day... the aforementioned (though not actually mentioned) artist has expressed that he most likely will not want to work with me again. It seems that no matter how hard I try, my own inability to get information straight has permanently fucked up my... relationship? With one of my favorite artist. I am honestly thinking of benching commissions forever now, spare people having to listen to me and my never-ending changes and inability to find good references. I'm pretty sure I am not the first to have this happen, but it is the first time this has happened to me, and journals are basically a place to empty out your head into so I figured why not... share my misery with the rest of the internet! Whee!

Today was the first day I had an artist return payment due to my excessive and finicky tweaking. Today sucks, but designing something from the ground up always sucks especially when you cant find references that are workable enough and have to keep looking for more and end up just pissing the artist off... of course that isn't to say I don't have a problem personally. The artist has been nothing but patient and I've only ever pissed them off incrementally more and more... I wont name anybody, I'm not one of those who starts a blame-war for no particular reason, I just felt like writing about this to share an initial pain I'm pretty sure others have experienced if well and if not? Well, then I really am an unnecessarily finicky individual and I got what I had coming...
