I got my PC back! It works perfectly and I only lost a bit of info (since I wasn't able to work that much I only lost some new sketches and some lineart work that won't take me much to make once again)

Sadly the internet services are still very unstable =__= but I managed to download all references and info of all commissions pending so far to work on them even if there's no internet here. The internet company don't have an asnwer for when they will be able to restore the service fully, but meanwhile I'll be working as much and as fast as possible to make it up for all of this TvT

Some of you may know) but in my country and state has bees suffering for several black outs and even general failures of internet and phone networks due to the constant and extreme heatwaves (In my city we've been around 100°F to 113°F)

I've been trying to keep ppl updated during the glimpses of service I've been having. I was without light service pretty much the whole last week It seemd like stuff was fixed but we had another small black out and sadly I was working during it and it damaged my computer.

Apparently it isn't beyond repair and my instincts made me have my backup hard disk updated with my info very recently. So everything should be fine (I hope)

I will be getting back my computer on the following days(the technician told me Tursday - Friday)

Ever since I get back from my hiatus I've been feeling like something is missing with my art and work, I'm not selling or getting as much interactions now in comparison as when my queue was longer or when I was on a critical stage of my mom's sickness...

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong now, I think my queue rythm is A LOT better than before, my prices haven't rise that much, I feel like my art has gotten better, yet still it feels like I'm being ignored here.
I don't know if it's just that FA isn't having that much influx, if I'm delusional and I haven't gotten better, if my YCHs are now boring, if what I have to offer as an artist isn't enough, or if I simply lost people's trust and now I'm not an option for others

I don't know what is going on, but I'm panicking because if this continue, if I my art keep falling into the cracks and being ignored I don't know what I'm going to do

I don't want to let go of this dream of keep drawing.

It's been a rough 2023 and a very troublesome 2024.
You have displayed on my journals the whole process of my lasts months with my mom, some of you know that were kind to keep in contact with me and know all the aftermath after her passing, the good and the bad.
Now I'm medicated and functional. My queue is practically cleaned by now except for the couple of sketch commissions I took during the Black friday but those commissions will be finished during this week as they won't take me much time to finish.

I'm re-opening commissions, I will be submitting new YCHs as well as new art.
This time I will be only opening up to 3 commission slots per month, beside the limited YCHs slots that I will be opening, this to avoid getting my queue overflown.

I'm so glad to be back and alive!!!

Hey! As some of you must known, following my mom's dead I was left with a huge bunch of debts. The last couple months haven't been easy and I have needed to take a step back from FA to prioritize other ways of making money to stabilize myself and pay all the debts as I was close to get raided by the banks collection department and even being evicted, I had to take multiple jobs that could provide me with a constant flow of money, between that and a dragging depression I haven't been able to work on commissions, as the little time I got free I used to sleep.

But, I miss working on commissions, I miss drawing, I of course feel mortified by all the commissions I owe...

Thankfully I'm having a little of support from some family (finally!) and I quit any other job to be able to concentrate on this.

Working as an artist have always been my dream, it was my dream for the almost wonderful 8 years this was my full job, It's been the work as I've been more happy with, and I want to give it a last chance to make it my full job once again. For that I need to clean my queue first.

So after my Black friday sale, I will be closing commissions until late January, mid february or until I finish my queue entirely(which I hope don't take me more than two months).

That include, YCHs, Re-runs and sketch commissions.

For all the client's that I've been heavely delayed (going past my stipulated time delivery on my T&C) they will recieve discount coupons that can be exchanged once my commissions are re-opened. I haven't forget about your commissions, my anxiety don't allow me to forget for a second that I owe art, and that I've been letting a lot of my clients down.

This time there won't be any distractions, I will have someone that will hold the economic burden of housing, bills, and food for the following two months, so starting this monday I won't do nothing except working on commissions.

Also, it's stipulated on the Black friday sale post but ALL of my re-run YCHs will be retired after the sale, so I can focus on making new art ♥

Hey...It's been a couple of really rough and tiredsome days. I has been specially draining having to on top of dealing with my own grief, give support and be that shoulder to cry on for relatives that for two years keept giving me and my mom their backs when we needed their help, specially in the last couple months where they keep telling me that they would come to help me take care of her, but in the end nobody did. Anyway, at least the visits and calls stopped as my mom's passing is "old news" for them now.

Also, nobody helped with the funeral expenses, so I'm in more debt and need of money than never...So even if I'm still emotionally drained I'm getting back to work.

Last night my mom finally passed away, after two years of fighting against cancer and a last week full of pain.

Now she is resting and in peace. I thought I would be ready for this moment, I mean... I was preparing myself for it from the moment her cancer was diagnosed as terminal, but I wasn't ready.

I'm happy that she's free from her suffering, but my heart is broken in so many pieces now that I know she's gone forever.

I still need to organize a lot of bureaucratic procedures as I was her caretaker these two years, then the funeral services

I don't think I'll be answering notes or messages on the following days, I need time to set things and have a moment to grieve before returning to work... But very soon I'll be back.

I will really try to take as little time as possible before coming back, I don't want to keep you waiting any longer.

I really thank you a lot for the support on these couple years, specially on the last months, all your kind and encouraging words, your trust and your patience... It was only thanks to you that I was able to spend time with my mom, to enjoy her, to give her a a dignified life, a roof, food and meds.

My mom was hospitalized again, she got a small infection on the catheter she has for her paracentesis. She is better now, home and with her antibiotics.

These following month I'll have my sibling helping me with her again (they left the house leaving me with all the work like...3 months ago...) so I'll be back again with work, they told me they'll be around two or three weeks so it's time for me to make a work speedrun!!

I sadly got a little sick, I got a stomach infection due to some not-so-fresh meat I ate Uu I had fever two days straight but the meds are finally making me feel better! But yeah...I lost literally 48-ish hours of work due to this TvT

This last couple weeks been wild, my mom it's being held hospitalized every time she puts a foot on the hospital, either for a blood test or for a simple doctor appointment, I can see we have been spending more days at the hospital than at our own house. My familiars abandoned the help they gave us the moment they found out my mom wasn't dying immediatedly (CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? I'M STILL SO FUCKING MAD ABOUT IT)

Good news, we were able to spend mother's day together at home. Bad news oficially my mom is no longer candidate to keep recieving chemotherapy, she is too weak for it, and as a family we have decided that it would be better to just go on to let the cancer take her instead of the sidefects of her treatment. We don't know how much it will take for her cancer to kill her but the doctor was not as optimistic as last time.

Due to the constant and prolonged hospitalizations I'm again at red numbers and this time I can't look away. I got a notice from the light service company. I have until May 18th to pay the $300 usd bill I've been dragging since the last two months or they are going to cut my light service, which means I WON'T be able to work at all until I gather the money which...honestly don't know how much would it take me to have if I can't work at all (I have a PC not a laptop or tablet so no alternative options are available)

Hello!! I apologize for my silence this last couple of weeks. Sadly my mom had a series of complications related to her cancer, She was hospitalized from December 23 to today January 08 with the necessity of having a relative in the hospital 24/7 beside her, during these couple weeks my sibling caught influenza therefore they couldn't help me being in the hospital since my mom is immunocompromised, so I had to spend pretty much the two whole weeks day and night at the hospital, unable to leave except for eating (inside the hospital) and the ocassional showers.

Thank God she was stable enough to come back home today, and we are finally here. I apologize for not answering messages but I had limited access to internet at the hospital and the small lapses I got to spend at home it was for a quick sleeping rest. I'll be quick to answer all notes asap and maybe after a solid night of sleep try to continue with commissions as fast as humanly possible, I beg for patience.

Also, due to being two weeks unable to work and having to spend all of my savings in transporation and food in the hospital (and the medicines not covered by insurance Uu) I'm in need of a quick cash, because we are left with no money for rent, service bills (light, internet service and water) and over all food. I have only rations to finish this weeks and that's all. We REALLY need the money!!

Honestly...I rarely vent here I try my best to keep it as just a formal work platform...and I'll probably delete this later...

BUT SHIT! I'm doing all I can to keep my house at float, economically, with chores, my own declining health and taking care of all my mother needs...she's deteriorating quickly lately, she's getting worse and honestly my sibling and I are scare she won't make it to the next year even, she's now in constant pain that even the morphine and oxicodone can't keep at line fully.

Because my life is a constant chaos I make mistakes, I've sent a couple of wrong files, or forget about a detail asked for a client, heaven's know I'm doing my motherfucking best to keep those mistakes at minimum or to have them fixed as soon as possible...but even then I think nobody has the right to insult me for making those mistakes!!

I'm finally back home and well, as well as I can be at least.

We'll have to wait a couple weeks until I get back the results to my analysis, but we hope for the best on the future. Meanwhile I've been getting back to work asap and be sending wips as soon as I get them.

Hello To all my clients and followers!!

I announce that I may take a week or so out due to some medical issues I'm having. Long story short. After going out of state due to a family emergency with my aunt I began to have menstrual hemorrhages, like intense bleeding I never had before in my life.

Of course as soon as we could I went to a gynecologist and after some tests it turns out I have an excessive and disorganized amount of endometrium stuck on my uterus, the doctor is affraid that it could be and early symphtom of womb cancer, it's unlikely due to my age but because of the multiple cases of cancer on my family (starting with my mom who's currently recieving chemotherapy) I need to get urgent treatment.

The proceedure I'll be recieving is pretty much a chemical "abortion" to clean all of that excessive endometrium in my womb. Which means that I'll have to be under medical care during the process as I'll pretty much will be bleeding that endometrial tissue for around 3 to 4 days, and then I'll need to do some tests to discard the cancer or any other affection.

I will come back at work as soon as I'm good enough to get home which will be on around 4-5 days. Tonight (actually a couple hours after this is published) I'll start my treatment, tbh I'm a little nervous Uu but I'm hopefull this is nothing but a hormonal unbalance due to stress.

Don't worry as soon as I'm back I'll work twice as hard to get all my commissions done...and probably due to the debt I'll get out of this I'll be opening tons of new ychs too ^^Uu

I decided to make this journal to clarify better the situation about my work schedule and rhythm, so I can pin it to my frontpage and have this information available to all my commissioners.

As I've said in a couple of journals in the past, my mother has cancer, peritoneal cancer in stage 4 to be exact and has now made metastasis on several other organs, including her spine. Because of that she can't and shouldn't work. She's been a single mother for a very long time and due to this situation the whole financial burden from paying rent, to buying food and paying bills has fallen into me and my 19 years old sibling.

My sibling is a highschool dropout, so the jobs they can get are very low pay. (Just around 150 usd a month) What makes me responsible for most of the house income.

Thankfully, due to health social security in my country we don't have to pay for the chemotherapy for my mother (which would be around 5000usd if for any reason the chemo treatment isn't available...which has happened before), but all of her medicine for the pain we have to buy from our pockets, her drugs can cost us about 400 to 700usd monthly alone depending on the disponibility of some medicines on drugstores in our state.

On top of that, as I'm the one who can work from home and we obviously don't have the money to pay for a nurse, I have to take care of my mother, clean and cook. Which leaves me just a couple hours a day to actually work on commissions.

I know that my current work rhythm is painfully slow, that my queue barely moves some weeks and still, I keep putting up YCHs like crazy. Trust me, it's not because I have forgotten about your commission, or because I'm too lazy or I'm hoarding money to run away with it, as some people have suggested on some notes I've been getting recently.

I'm literally spending more than I'm able to produce workwise per month. I'm sincere with all my commissioners and add very clearly on my paypal invoices how long the wait time in my queue is for their pieces.

When my Mom has bad days or weeks, specially after her chemotherapy, I maybe sleep 5 hours a day or less, don't even say about having time to work at all, whenever I have time is because she's having a good day or because she can sleep for 8 hours straight. That's when I can step up to work and I do it non-stop for as long as my body allows me to, sometimes that's one time a week, sometimes it's four times a week. But it's only on those small chances that I can fully work, if not I barelly work on commissions one or two hours a day, when I can work at all.

Please, PLEASE, if you don't agree to wait as much for a commission it's perfectly fine! You don't have to commission me or pay for that YCH. I'm clear with all the clients about the expected lapse of time to get to your commission due to all this situation. So I beg you, don't just suddenly ask for a refund or put a claim on paypal for your money because I "took 2 weeks'' on delivering your commission, most of the time it's just leaving my paypal on red numbers because I'm spending the money on our family necessities as soon as it arrives to paypal.


I've been a furry artist since I'm 20, this have been my full time job, joy and passion for 7 YEARS, I'm not trying to scam you because I took a little more than you are expected to get your commissions, trust me, the circumstances around me and my family are just bigger of what I can control, and this job that I love with all my heart is the only way I can stay close to my mom and provide the amount of money we need to survive month by month. I need to keep up posting YCHs and offering commissions to keep us a float as a family.

I try to work as fast as my duties and body let me and truly do my best to deliver my commissions on the timelapse I give, but that timelapse is not a guarantee, and trust me that I always feel ashamed and anxious that I can't deliver on the timeframe I give to clients.

Sadly and probably this inconvenience with my queue will continue until I can get myself on track with the rhythm risking my health by taking those couple hours of sleep I can get a day, or when my Mom dies of her cancer, which, despite the inconveniences at work, I hope doesn't happen anytime soon. The kind one she has can't be cured, neither with chemotherapy or a surgery. The chemos only buy her a little more time. All of our efforts go to simply try to be with her just a little longer.

Every penny that a client give me helps me to keep my mom alive and with as little pain is posible, to have my family fed and with a roof over our heads. And truly I thank you for each commission bought since the bottom of my heart.

I beg you to be patient with me despite everything.

We were given a grim dyagnosis, this type of cancer has a very slim possibility to be erradicated and the chemotherapies will continue for the rest of her life since it can only be expected to prevent the tumors from expanding to the rest of her organs or at least slow the process but it can't be cured.

We still are hopeful that the treatment will give us more time with her, but we don't know how much it will be.

I'm still thankfull to you all to make it possible to be here with her for much or long time we have left together <3
