What surprises me about the latest round of drama is that the story has been heard before! no less than TWO YEARS AGO!

I'm already familiar with the story and had no desire to be a part of it. To quote Eleanor Roosevelt: "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." why am I throwing myself into the ring? I'm doing so in the hope that you, the reader of this journal entry, will hear my small portion of wisdom on the matter of Gossip in that you are better off without it.

Gossip yields no positive outcome for anyone
Gossip only brings stress, discomfort, negative emotion and negative feelings.
Gossip can be ignored.

Hell of a question really.

I've been on this earth for 24 years and I have never given that question an absolute answer. In all honesty there have been several answers such as Film, Sports, Games, Music, Journalism, Writing, Food. But every time theres always something that slaps me just to say that it will never happen, whether it be the vocational rehab bitch (she was an absolute one at that), the Dean of a smaller college (DATC), or the news!
This day and age, Dreams are limited to the dreamscape. the common man's current dream is to simply survive. Forget the house on the rolling hills or the cottage in france.

I have a medication im quite dependent on, without it I turn into Vaas from Far Cry 3 (save for physical form) and no im not kidding, I flip fucking tables of mahogany and cast iron on a bad day without my meds. If I'm to work in a more demanding field I'd safely wager I'd have to up the dosage.

It's the '27th' of january. I'm sitting in the living room sorting out my new Gatecrash cards while waiting for the final broadcast of the Aspen X-Games. I flip through the channels to find that the NFL Pro Bowl is about to start. I think to myself "why not?" and select the HD broadcast… And that was as good as the game ever got.
Now mind you all I saw was the first half as the X-Games was set to start about 5 minuets after the end of the half and that had so much more excitement than most of the past 12 Pro Bowls, One moment I did catch was J.J. Watt and his mortifying left pinky finger:

"They can't say we're not playing hard in this game.", "Hey Commish, we're playing hard!" - J.J. Watt

After the game many of the players echoed similar opinions, but if the defensive performance was anything to go by you could tell that they're literally joking. He and the AFC Defense let 4 TD's go unanswered through the 2nd and 3rd quarters. 1 look at the defensive rosters and I found 5 or 7 notable defensive players, including on the NFC side a rather tame Ndamukong Suh who only got 2 tackles as his only stat of the game.

Now if you look at the voting results you will find plenty of defensive players who deserve to be here but couldn't due to injury or SuperBowl participation:

The alternates that went in however I did not know of the top of my head.

The numbers don't often tell you the whole story, but the eye test will tell you a lot. What I saw was a proper offense and a severe lack defense… then again there may be a different issue with the pro bowl: Voting.

The Pro Bowl is voted on by the many fans of the game of american football. Half of the games since the turn of the millennium have video game like scores to them and that a good game does not make. It doesn't help that the majority of superstars are quarterbacks and receivers, and when the unobservant fan votes blind it does create problems. In my first prowl ballot I went only with notable names and picked a bunch of random others cause I didn't want to spend time comparing stats to make sure the ones I picked were deserving of going to the pro bowl.

This may be a part of the problem. If so then a change needs to be made to ensure that the Pro bowl actually has the best players instead of just the popular ones with a bunch of unknowns thrown in all willy nilly. Another area to pool votes into is free agents. Here's a few:

So there's the two big issues that need to be addressed if the Pro Bowl is to be taken seriously: Defense and the voting process. If the players want to keep there coveted hawaiian vacation going, then they best make the case to the Commish now before he culls the Pro Bowl from future seasons.

life goes on with the coming 2013 year, and for me this calls for a new PC. I've had a pc during my teen years for playing windows games up until the motherboard had an aneurism with its AGP video port. it was an asus dual CPU board running 2 Intel Xeons. It was nice while it lasted.

The reason for this PC rebuild is that my macbook is dying. The motherboard in my 09 era macbook is having a hard time with the battery, ften times shutting down 1-20 seconds after initial power up. Then you got all the PC games out now that I'm missing out on like Guild Wars 2 and Skyrim. while GW2 is in mac beta it calls for minimum specs that are current generation mac.

Therefore, despite my love for the (mostly) idiot proof Macintosh OS, a new PC is a needed requirement going forward. Here is what I need:
